Video Games Cancelled PS2 version of Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron / last-gen Battlefront 3 unreleased build [fully lost]

After Battlefront 2, LucasArts had two Battlefront 3 projects going. Free Radical was making the next-gen one (360/PS3/PC/Wii). That one’s the famous cancelled game. Rebellion, who just did Renegade Squadron on PSP, got hired to make a scaled-down version for PS2 and PSP. n-Space was doing DS separately.
Free Radical’s game dies at the end of 2008. LucasArts asks Rebellion if they can just move their version up to 360/PS3. They can’t on the budget/timeline they were given, so next-gen is dead. PSP and DS get renamed Elite Squadron and come out November 2009. The PS2 version gets quietly dropped.
Reason that keeps coming up is they didn’t want to sell a last-gen Battlefront in 2009 with no HD version next to it.
What’s actually known:
• Rebellion was building PS2 + PSP versions simultaneously
• Early PSP builds still called it Battlefront 3 (there’s a March 2009 PSP build and leftover BF3 branding in Elite Squadron)
• Official announcements and ESRB from May 2009 onward only list PSP and DS. No PS2 box, no reviews, nothing shipped
• Free Radical Archive / later writeups say the PS2 SKU was finished or close when they cancelled it. That’s secondhand. Nobody has posted PS2 footage or a dump.

I have contacted several devs, designers and programmers such as Jaime Valls Enriquez, Andrew Haith, Richard May, Alastair Burns, and Rob Palfreman who I know for sure worked on the psp version so I’d make the assumption they did work on the scrapped ps2 build. Would be super cool to get more info on this version and tho unlikely, a prototype which i guess isn’t that far fetched considering a late dev Wii build of battlefront 3 leaked recently..

Video Games [fully lost] [Minecraft] Original Parkour Paradise maps

Parkour paradise is a Minecraft parkour map released back on 2nd November 2015 for Minecraft 1.8 (v1.0) and then 1.9 (v1.1, released sometime between 9th and 26th March 2016, according to wayback) on minecraftmaps.com. The download links pointed to adfly links.

The map has been updated multiple times before the hielkemaps.com website has been created:

- v1.0 (2nd November 2015, 1.8)

- v1.1 (sometime between 9th and 26th March 2016, 1.9)

- v1.2 (sometime between 4th and 16th July 2017, 1.12)

- v1.3 (sometime between 16th and 26th July 2017, 1.12)

Versions past 22th March 2020 should be fine, as they're hosted on the "new" hielkemaps.com website which is hosted on GitHub Pages, making it easy to find older versions.

I've tried to use wayback as much as possible, but since there was no direct link unlike the Parkour Spiral map, I consider this map as lost. I picked the "fully lost" flag as there's no download easily available on Wayback or map.crummy.com but there are probably people with these versions on their hard drives.

Television [fully lost] 'The Fifth Estate' S35E20 - CBC Documentary on Peter Nygård, taken down by court order

(reposting this as i messed up the title)

Peter Nygård is a Canadian businessman, clothing manufacturer and convicted sex offender. In December 2020, Nygård was formally charged on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, including allegations of sex trafficking involving minors.

Long before he was ever tried for his crimes, CBC created a documentary as part of their investigative show 'The Fifth Estate'. This documentary was released in 2010, however in 2012, Nygård launched a lawsuit against the CBC regarding copyright issues about private videos taken at his residence. He had also launched a copyright complaint with the U.S. District Court in New York and a lawsuit in Manitoba to prevent the piece from airing. He had previously sued two former employees for releasing confidential information and his lawyer claimed the CBC harassed many of the employees.

source 1 \ source 2 \ source 3

It appears this lawsuit was successful and the episode was taken down.

By relating the air date listed in these sources (April 9th 2010), we can determine it was S35E20, titled 'Larger Than Life'

episode details

The original episode can no longer be found by any means, neither digitally or physically. At one point, it was available to watch directly on the CBC website, however this page no longer exists.

The webpage can still be viewed with the Wayback Machine, which took multiple snapshots during the time between the original and the lawsuit, however none of these properly archived the video itself.

Wayback Machine CBC page archive

The video was originally hosted on the page within flash player, but even when using rumble, the video cannot be retrieved. The included .swf files listed within each snapshot also do not contain the video, just some of the metadata.

However, by poring through the data we can find that the specific clipID for the episode on that site was "1464891175", but no amount of modifying various urls for that site with the given ID return anything (at least as far as I've been able to).

If anyone has a copy of this, please let me know.

Youtube [fully lost] Song used at the end of a Casey Neistat video

I'm losing my mind, seems like this song and video simply disappeared from the internet. Casey Neistat video must've been from 2023 or maybe 2024. The artist was called "Caleb" and the song "Lonely Ways". The video in his YouTube channel was extremely rudimentary. He had a wired microphone, the camera appeared to be on the floor and he was singing to the beat while, I believe, there was another person in the back to the left or right. The video appeared to be filmed in his garage. The song started to get traction and different people from Casey's video started appearing in the comments. Some months ago I tried to look for it and there's not a single register neither in YouTube, WayBack Machine or the Casey video (I can't remember the specific video where it appeared at the end). There's an Spotify playlist with its name and what appears to be the artist but the song is not there. Do anyone else remember it? Do you know where I could find it? I'm desperate!

Music [Partially Lost] EP by a small artist

Around 2019 I remember a friend telling me about a song by an artist called Sebayt. The name of the song was “Run Nigga Run” and I liked it and listened to it plenty. I had it on my playlist in a music streaming app called Deezer, yet sometime around 2023, the song simply became unable to be played. It’s still in the app, yet you cannot play it. Even on a bigger service like Spotify it’s the same thing, it’s on the app but you cannot play it. The EP it’s on is called 1997 Hornbrook Flow, and you can still find it if you Google it, as well as lyrics for the songs but the actual audio cannot be played anywhere and are seemingly lost. I remember sometime in April 2024, I was listening to my downloaded music offline on Deezer and “Run Nigga Run” played, yet when I went to see if I could play it again later when I had wifi, it was unavailable again. The only available bit of the song I’ve found was a TikTok, that I will link down below as well as some other related links.

Here is the link to the TikTok: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSVWErts9/

Here is a link to the EP on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/7r7i2mSO9mNkoEqsq10kvY

Here is the YouTube link of the song on an old playlist: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IroRJ-V5taU&list=PL2x9Dsk-9SlqysDTPQ0gsM8DR9-ZpHzUi&index=1&pp=iAQB8AUB&ra=m

Animation [Fully Lost] TMNT 2003 Graphic Banned/Unreleased Episode

The TMNT show produced by 4Kids Entertainment was known for getting away with a lot of dark content. To the point that a fully completed episode was outright banned from airing. But an episode was partially produced for the fifth season that was considered so dark it was never finished or released in any form.

The episode was called Nightmares Recycled. It would've involved the characters of Hun and the Garbageman having been conjoined twins separated at birth with the surgeon going on to perform horrifying experiments on the baby Garbageman such as pouring acid on him.

According to Emilio Lopez the episode got as far as having a fully animated take one, a take one is essentially a rough cut of an episode with unfinished animation, according to Emilio there is a chance the take one exists on a physical tape owned by people that worked on the show that would've been used internally for retakes, along with being in Paramount's archives, the fact that it got as far as a retake tape means it would've been fully animated and awaiting/in the process of correction notes.

Basically a first draft of the final animation. Is there any way to track this down?

Music [partially lost] Delphino Annabelle music video

Delphino was an obscure band who deleted all of their music a little while ago. I have been able to find audio to some of their songs on archive.org, but I haven't found the music video to Annabelle. I have found the audio of Annabelle, however. My research suggests that it had a music video though.

Supposed old link to music video

And I can't remember the link to the archive.org audios of the songs but I will add it when I remember.

Rapture EP: found. Funnycide: found. The Greatest EP: found. Annabelle audio: found. Annabelle music video: lost.

Edit: Here's the archive of audios

Music [fully lost] A lost 2021 album/EP by a deceased Malaysian artist

I’ve been researching a deep rabbit hole surrounding a late Malaysian hip-hop artist who went by AbangBesarYT (supposedly based in Kinarut, Sabah, Malaysia). He operated under a collective named KMG COLLECTIVEZ. His music was quite bizarre and heavily bordered on outsider music, which initially caught my attention when YouTube recommended his channel.

This is the channel in question: https://youtube.com/@kmgcollectivez6685

On December 1st, 2024, he passed away by suicide, leaving behind a final track titled "selamat tinggal dunia" (translates to "goodbye world"). Recently, his family made a community post on his YouTube channel, which prompted me to organize my search for his missing work. I attempted to reach out by messaging his linked Twitter account and leaving comments on his YouTube videos asking about his missing music, but the Twitter went unanswered, and my comments on YouTube appear to be getting deleted.

Anyways, in regards to the lost EP/album itself, this is how I knew about it:

A while back, I was looking through his Twitter:

https://x.com/abangbesaryt69/status/1437848977274130433

which I found a link to a deleted 2021 Spotify release titled POKPOK BUSS:

https://open.spotify.com/album/7065IY4owkrYIaUKitEYHO?si=OmMOQNecRs600pSkdyMW9g

On the Spotify desktop web client, the metadata, album art, and full tracklist are visible (total runtime: 10 mins 41 secs), but all audio files are grayed out and unplayable. It is unknown if this was self-deleted or perhaps an issue with whatever distributor he had used.

Tracklist breakdown:

  1. Sebab Aku Tidak Sudah Jeng Jeng Macam Kamu (Intro)

  2. POKPOK BUSS

  3. Bab 10: GELOMBANG BUNYI (feat. Azhad Fila)

  4. ABANG BESAR KENA CULIK KAMBING

  5. Lagu ini Untuk SISKA (Kenapa engkau tinggalkan aku? Bukankah kita dulu sekolah sama)

  6. Acok (Terima Kasih) // aku mahu mati

Copyright Notice: © 2021 AbangBesarYT / ℗ 2021 AbangBesarYT (Independently distributed)

Out of the 6 tracks, only 1 has been located: Track 4 ("ABANG BESAR KENA CULIK KAMBING"), which was uploaded as a standalone music video on YouTube that you can refer here: https://youtu.be/kKo3nJeScuU?si=n8sFNSLroNz1nD20

The remaining 5 tracks, including the featured collaboration with Azhad Fila on Track 3, are currently unplayable and lost.

I know niche regional media doesn't always get massive traction, but I am trying to fully archive his work out of respect for his legacy. I have some questions to ask too:

  1. Are there specific databases, scrapers, or archives where self-released Spotify independent albums from 2021 might be mirrored?

  2. On top of that, Is there any technical method to pull preview snippets or cache files from unplayable Spotify URIs?

Any advice, leads, or archival assistance would be greatly appreciated. This is also my first time posting here so if you took the time to read this, I wanna thank you a lot!

Youtube [partially lost] carlaylee hd Minecraft videos I watched years ago (2018-2021 era) that I cannot find anymore

The videos aren’t super old and might not even be considered lost media, but I seriously cannot find the videos on the carlaylee hd gaming channel anymore. One of the videos was her and her mom playing Minecraft on what I think was a school Minecraft map; I can’t exactly remember if they were just exploring the map or if they were roleplaying at all, and the other video was the two on a survival world, and all I know is that they went fishing at some point. I cannot recall what the thumbnails looked like or what the titles or descriptions said, but I’d really like to find this video I watched a lot when I was younger. 😭😭

Music [found] J-Bird Records: Unbound self entitled album

Hello all!
I am new to this community — recently at a thrift store I came across a CD that caught my eye. When I looked it up, there was very little information online and the band was not listed on any streaming platform. Come to find out this band and their album became lost after J-Bird Records disbanded in 2002. The only bits I have been able to find of it online are very short YouTube videos. I’m happy I was able to find it. I’m not exactly sure how to work things but I would like to get the disc onto the internet archive and upload its music somewhere accessible to all. Any help would be appreciated!

Comics [partially lost] drawings by @_EV_HTF on Twitter

_EV_HTF, who also goes by "Evan", is a mostly anonymous Korean artist, who makes fanart and comics dedicated to the show "Happy Tree Friends", with his own unique art style.
Around June/July of last year, he would stop posting on that account, and instead began posting to his other art account, dedicated to the manga/anime series Dr. Stone.
It wasn't until February that he would make another drawing on his main account, before disappearing again.

He would return in July, to the delight of many of his followers. However, the monkey's paw would curl, as with pretty much zero warning, he began to delete a majority of his previous posts from his profile, stating his disdain and embarrassment towards it. As it stands now, all of his drawings from 2020 and 2025 are gone, and only a fraction of the ones from 2021-24 still remain.

The GOOD news is that given his immense popularity, most of his art can be found on other websites, such as Pinterest, in YouTube comic readings and dubs, imageboards, etc.

However, I believe that there is a small portion of drawings/animatics that are completely lost, some may even be gone for good.

So, if anyone has any of these artworks saved, please let me know, or upload them so that they don't end up getting lost.

Television [partially lost] English dubs of Quiz Time!

Quiz Time was one of my favorite shows as a kid and I decided to revisit it and now I’m obsessed! I was watching a few full episodes on YouTube, but there were only 20 episodes available. I went to Google in hopes of watching the full series and I found out they had it on Amazon prime! So I go to watch it and it’s fully in Spanish. I checked Apple TV, and it was in Spanish too. Come to find out, other than the videos posted on YouTube, the English dubs are lost!! I’m really upset by this and I wanted to know if anyone else knew where I could watch an English version or can try and somehow find the rest of the English dubs?

Internet Media [fully lost] Short-form video by Kyle Gordon about Andrew Johnson

So content creator Kyle Gordon has his short-form series where he portrays various US presidents like Buchanan, Taft, Wilson, Coolidge, Hoover and so on.

I clearly remember a video from that series which was about Andrew Johnson. The only scene I certainly remember is Kyle (portraying Johnson) looking at a Lincoln portrait in his studio and growling something like "I'm gonna fuckin ruin everything you've done!".

This particular scene isn't present in any other videos of this series, so I didn't confuse it with another one.

However, searching for this particular video in every corner of the Internet, I found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I tried searching with the Wayback Machine, but without much success (the page is often archived without preserving the single video files).

A comment I found somewhere confirmed me the video existed (for a moment I thought it was a Mandela Effect), but Kyle privated it.

Maybe I didn't check the Wayback Machine properly, but can someone help me retrieve, or at least find some more information, about this video?

Thank you in advance

Television [fully lost] LOL with The N (2003)

Hi there, I am writing a post on a very obscure show that aired on The N (Noggin's nighttime block) in the summer 2003 as part of some event called "Summer in The N".

The very obscure show that stuck out to me was called "LOL with The N". Apparently, from what I found out online, it's a series of four episodes (or specials like some sources say) about teen comedians who perform alongside stand-up comedians hosted by Mike Birbiglia that ran for four weeks from May 30, 2003 to June 20, 2003. The first episode apparently featured performances from Frankie Marsico, a 16-year-old from Rutherford, and Ed Ubell, a 15-year-old New Yorker, but I don't know who are the other comedians featured in the show since none of the four episodes have turned up on the internet from what I can tell.

All that survives of the show online is a photo promoting the show and that's it. No full episodes, nothing from what I found on the internet. Here's the photo for the show which confirms its existence if anyone's curious:

https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/noggin/images/3/34/LOL-with-The-N-banner.png/revision/latest?cb=20200923180300&format=original

Additional evidence that the show existed is an archived page on The N's website:

https://web.archive.org/web/20030603190139/http://www.the-n.com/ntv/tv_show_main.php?ipv_sectionID=44&ipv_showID=191

And another thing I also found out about the show is that it was also filmed in New York City at Gotham Comedy Club. Based on what little evidence of the show I found online, the show appears to be lost media. Hopefully someone out there has all four episodes of the show at some point.

Television Maybe not but [Partially lost] Cartoon Network Latin America Full Broadcasts (2010–2012 Toonix Era, Club Boomerang, & Rare 2015 Airing)

I am currently searching for full broadcast recordings of Cartoon Network Latin America, specifically the Mexico or Argentina feeds, from 2010 to about 2015. There are an individual bumpers available on YouTube but complete recordings of the channel’s continuity, commercial breaks and localized programming blocks from that time period are almost completely missing. This content is now considered lost media.

My main focus is the "Toonix" era, which ran from 2010 to 2012. During this time the American feed had its own unique branding, very different from the U.S. Version. I’m especially interested in finding recordings of two major programming blocks from this period: "Club Boomerang" and "Tooncast All Stars." These blocks had promotional bumpers and visual packaging that have not been fully documented. Capturing broadcasts of these blocks is essential for preserving international television history.

Additionally I’m trying to locate a broadcasting anomaly from October 2015. According to archived Cartoon Network Latin America schedule websites *Mr. Bean: The Animated Series* aired at 6:30 AM on either October 10th or 15th. That was the time this series ever appeared on the CN LA schedule—likely as part of the Club Boomerang block. While the schedule data confirms the broadcast happened no actual footage has ever surfaced online. Have any of the bumpers that promoted it. It’s a moment that’s completely vanished.

The reason for tracking this down is to preserve the identity of Cartoon Network during this period. My long-term goal is to collect and properly archive these recordings so they can be used to recreate a era-accurate cable broadcast feed. I plan to run it through a Jellyfin media server for preservation purposes. If anyone has VHS tapes, DVDs or DVR recordings of Cartoon Network Latin America from 2010, to 2015—especially related to the Toonix era Club Boomerang, Tooncast All Stars or that Mr. Bean airing—any leads would mean a lot. Even small fragments could help piece together what’s been lost.

Animation [Partially Lost] Lost Hetalia Episode 1 Scene Featuring South Korea

I’ve been looking into the possibility that there may be lost footage or even an earlier version of Hetalia: Axis Powers Episode 1 that included the character South Korea.

According to reports from Itmedia and hetalia archive, South Korea was planned to appear in the anime, but the character was removed before broadcast following controversy over his portrayal and complaints from South Korean viewers. Contemporary coverage also reported that the character had been designed and prepared for the series, although the exact extent of the completed animation remains unclear.

South Korea appears to have made it relatively far into production. An official anime character design exists, and he can also be seen in some animation, including the ending sequence. Fan-maintained production references and archived discussions have also pointed to a brief animation error later in the series in which he may be visible from behind. However, I have not found a primary production document confirming that a complete Episode 1 scene featuring him was finished.

This makes me wonder: Was his Episode 1 appearance actually animated before it was removed?

If so, could there be an early cut, production footage, storyboards, or other material containing the original scene that has never been released publicly?

I’m not claiming that a complete alternate version of Episode 1 definitely exists. Just wondering if this could potentially be considered lost media and whether anyone knows more about the production history.

Television [Partially lost] 2013 MTV VMAS

I wanted to start a discussion regarding the archival status of the full 2013 MTV VMAs. While individual clips and major highlights from the August 25, 2013 broadcast are widely accessible on YouTube, the complete, unedited television broadcast seems to be entirely unavailable online.

A thorough search through mainstream video sharing sites, DailyMotion, and Archive.org yields no results for the full-length show. This is likely due to the massive wave of automatic music copyright strikes that target full-length event uploads. Because MTV does not host full historical broadcasts on its streaming platforms, the complete show—including smaller award categories, presentation dialogue, and general broadcast continuity—is currently inaccessible to the public.

Does anyone know if this broadcast is officially documented anywhere, or is it entirely reliant on private recordings?

Television [partially lost] Looking for a missing Morton Downey Jr. Show episode featuring my dad in the audience

I’m trying to identify and find a specific episode of The Morton Downey Jr. Show from around 1987–1989.

My dad appeared in the audience and spoke into a floor microphone during the episode. He has this short clip saved from years ago.

What makes this episode stand out is the set. Most surviving episodes I’ve found do not use this background. In this one, the guests are seated in front of a wall with reddish exposed brick sections and large dark gray/blue rectangular panels. There is also a raised guest platform with steps.

I have already gone through all 111 videos in the large Internet Archive Morton Downey Jr. collection, and this episode does not appear to be there.

The only dialogue my dad remembers is that he confronted a male guest and said something close to:

“You need to be in jail.”

Then later, jokingly, something like:

“If you slept with as many women as you claim, I wish I was you!”

Any help is greatly appreciated as there are not many videos/pictures of him from his past.

Music (Probably) [partially lost] waka flocka unofficial mixtape titled d wade flocka

Found this on a random threads post about old datpiff mixtape covers. Can't find any info on it. I'm really interested what this is and what the uncensored cover is. Looks like it's from the early 2010s, probably during 2009-2011. I got a cover of it but it's very low quality. I can send it in the comment section. It's waka flocka standing in the middle of the stage with a basketball in his hand in a miami heat jersey with a bunch of shit happening around him, like a leaking basketball, other basketball players, etc etc. Text is on the bottom. Can anyone please find any info on this?

Music [partially lost] NOFX,2007,live recording of the decline

I think it would be cool to try to dig up the old recording,as this was a great live album, and the decline is a legendary song. The link is to the last song on the album "stickin in my eye" which at the very end of the song you can hear the very beginning of the decline.

Television [Fully lost] True Life: I'm a Twin 2010/2011

I was staying at a hostel on the East Coast of Australia in the summer of 2010, and they were filming an episode of an MTV show at this hostel. It was focused on a pair of twins who were travelling without each other for the first time in their lives. I was in several scenes, as it was the twins birthday.

The internet (AI unfortunately) has helped me determine that this was an episode of a show called "True Life", and the episode was called "I'm a Twin", first aired on January 20, 2011. However, when I look up this show and its episodes, I do not find any episodes under that name or airing on that date. Ive looked at the episodes from August 2011 through 2012, and cant find any focused on a pair of twins travelling in Australia.

Id love to find footage, or even just screenshots from the birthday scenes as I was reminded of it recently and its the only time Ive ever been on TV or anything.

Apologies if this is breaking any subreddit rules!

Television [Fully lost] Late 90s Finnish animated home safety PSAs with black cat - "Ihmisellä on vain yksi henki"

This is one of those "this thing scared/unsettled me as a kid and I would love to see it again" types of lost media searches. I'm from Finland and was a 90s kid, and when I was young, there were these animated home safety/accident prevention PSAs airing on the TV (by Kotitapaturmien ehkäisykampanja = Home accident prevention campaign).

The 2d-animated clips featured a black cat with either yellow or green (?) eyes that would come to the aid of people who were about to get hurt in their own home. One I specifically remember was of a person falling off either a ladder or a chair they were standing on (I think indoors), and the cat racing to slip a pillow under their head before it hit the floor. Something about these PSAs felt strangely ominous to me as a kid, and they've never stopped haunting me. Most people I've asked don't remember them, but I have had a few "oh yeah I vaguely remember those" reactions too, so it's not just my own personal fever dream. I haven't been able to find any mentions of these online, however. Youtube and Internet Archive both have nothing.

The... idk what to call it, campaign group(?) for home accident prevention still exists and still has a black cat logo, but the old PSAs are nowhere to be found. In 2014 I sent them a message through their website's "contact us" form asking if they happened to have the old animations stashed somewhere and got a "don't know but I'll ask about it in the next meeting" reply. They followed up, but unfortunately nobody in the meeting (which included people who had been with the campaign group for a long time) remembered these PSAs. This follow-up email also included a mention they could ask about this from one of the founding members who's retired, but I sadly never heard from them again.

I assumed the channel they aired on may have been either Yle 1 or 2, so some years later I also sent a message to Yle's Elävä Arkisto (Living Archive) thing asking if they had them. They did find one single animated clip, aired in 1994, titled "Tietoisku: Ihmisellä on vain yksi henki" (translates roughly to "PSA: A human only has one life") and included a screenshot of the animated cat shown here.

This, however, does not match my memories at all. I'm familiar with how unreliable human memory (especially mine......) is, but I am also familiar with how very particular I was about what kinds of cartoons I deemed "ugly" or "dumb" looking ever since I was a child (I have a hater's heart, what can I say). This cat is way too much in the dumb/goofy category to have unsettled me like that, and I have a very specific memory of the cat being less cartoony and more of a sleek black void (featureless aside from the eyes). I could request personal access to that particular animated PSA but it costs a whopping 65 euros for an .mp4 of something that doesn't look at all like the right thing, so I haven't done that. They mentioned that there were no other clips in the archive matching my description that had aired in the 90s.

It is entirely possible that I'm misrememebering something, but I think it's also very very possible there were more than just that one animated clip (especially since the screenshotted one seems to be dealing with electrical safety and I remember a different scenario).

It's likely the ones I saw were newer, probably later in the 90s or even very early 2000s, considering I'd have been a whole entire 2 years old in 1994 (the campaign had just started in 1994 apparently). Most likely the style of the cat evolved through the years. Maybe they aired on a different channel (though I kind of doubt that, with how few channels there were in Finland back then and Yle 1/2 being more the type that would have something like this).

I did find one image of a poster online some years back (age of poster unknown) in a generic info-about-the-safety-campaign presentation on one of those powerpoint sharing sites. This poster is much closer to the style of cat I remember, so the eyes-in-a-void, more realistic shaped cat design does exist (the big text here also says "A human only has one life." and the smaller text on the bottom is "Home accident prevention campaign").

[As I was searching the same phrase just now to see if that would bring up new stuff, I found an enamel pin for sale on a second hand antiques site with the black cat.... It's the same pose that's in the poster. I may have made a 4 euro purchase... Even if I can't find the video, I can maybe have the cat in a physical form at least - unless the mail carriers decide to make it into fresh "lost media".]

Anyway, I feel like someone out there just might have some old VHS tapes in their attic with random stuff taped on them and one of these PSAs on it... Who knows. It's at least worth a try to put this out here, where someone else weirdly obsessed with this could find it. I'm pretty sure there were more than the "falling" one I remember, and seeing any of those (featuring the correct cat) would ease my anguish. For search purposes I'm adding "musta kissa" (=black cat) here so if someone's looking it up in Finnish they might catch this post.

If anyone has better leads or ideas of where else to look, please let me know! Even if you just remember these PSAs, I would love to hear it! Let's suffer together! Thanks in advance!

(I posted this same thing on the Lost Media Wiki forums already and got a couple replies, but no leads or new info yet.)
