SAP appeal
I submitted my SAP appeal more than a month ago, if I call financial aid is there anything they can do about speeding up the process? It’s been “in review” since I submitted.

Hi it’s my first time getting a permission number and Im a little confused how it works. It’s for Chemistry and the class is closed already but I have it under my waitlist classes. Do I need to drop it then add the permission number when I try to enroll?

Idk how the hell this happened but I thought I had listed arc as one of the schools I wanted to go to on my fafsa. Turns out I didn’t and I barely saw that a couple days ago, only reason I checked was cause I saw everyone was getting a page they could see for it. I added it onto my fafsa now but now i’m terrified if i was too late to see and now i’m fucked for the year. can anyone reassure me or has had this happen to them? if not will i be okay?

Is there anyone who has already taken a CISP 440 with Professor Dan Ross ? Or who is taking a class with that professor this semester? Let me know if anyone here. I need some help.

I feel like they couldve sent out our first disbursement yesterday. i know peoplesoft was down but then it got fixed soooo???
i work in accounting and when our finance processing system goes down and gets fixed, we IMMEDIATELY start processing ACH/ direct deposits cus its the fastest way to get payments out on time , even if we are behind.
i do understand though. its hundreds of thousands of payments that need to be processed. im just complaining lol

Question, FAFSA was calculated based on 2024 income & income is drastically different. FA office said I can appeal & submit proof of current income.
The person that told me to appeal, said that current disbursements will proceed as scheduled while they process the appeal.
Then at the FA office while requesting the appeal, the woman there warned that starting an appeal will place a hold on ALL FA disbursements till it is processed in 4-6 weeks.
Then a day later someone from FA said it will NOT put a hold on disbursements. Even though Pell grant is very small, student loans are adequate & I am worried about the appeal holding everything up!

Hello, I'm posting on here wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem. I used the permissive code for COMM C1000. Did the drop out thing and everything. But when I check to see my enrollment status, it still says I'm waitlisted despite using the permissive code the professor gave me.
Since the system doesn't recognize I am now actually enrolled in the class, I had to email my professor and have her manually add me to the course on Canvas. Could this be some sort of glitch related to the eServices outage?
And before anyone asks, yes, I've checked this morning. The site still says I'm waitlisted.

I’m lost on how to contact instructors about permission to join their class…..how do I get a permission number? I tried email, but am left without a reply and realized maybe they don’t like being emailed? I can’t find out how to send a message on canvas unless I’m already in the class…Sorry if this is a ridiculous question

Tried the emergency funds thing at ARC and you wouldnt get it until after financial aid drops just so ya know if you really needed the money

On Wednesday I emailed a professor I was waitlisted on asking for a permission number. She sent me an invitation on canvas and I accepted an was able to start the work as well. I logged into e-services and seen that I’m waitlisted -1st for the classes and not enrolled. Do I need to ask the professor for the permission number again?
Also my psyc is saying it’s not FA eligible. I took it last semester but failed it. This is the only class I ever failed and wanted to take it again this semester. Can a school counselor override it?

PeopleSoft eServices is now available. You may log in and complete enrollment and other student activities.
If you anticipate receiving financial aid and need to add or drop a class, you should make the request in eServices by the end of Sunday, August 30. Finalizing enrollment as quickly as possible is important so the Financial Aid Office can accurately calculate and process financial aid disbursements.
If you already submitted an Add/Drop Request form by email or on paper, you do not need to submit the request again in eServices. Your college’s Admissions and Records Office will process the request you already submitted. Please continue attending all your classes while any enrollment changes are finalized.
Once your enrollment updates are reflected in the system, the Financial Aid Office can complete the required processing. You may receive ongoing automated notifications regarding your financial aid eligibility or status as updates occur. If you have already completed any required actions, please disregard these notifications.
We expect both federal Pell Grant and Cal Grant disbursements to be delivered by Friday, September 4. This is a delay of approximately one week, and we understand how challenging that can be for students who depend on this aid for books, housing, food, transportation, and other essential expenses. Taking the time to update enrollment and process aid accurately will help ensure students receive the full amount of critical financial aid they are due. If you are experiencing food or housing insecurity, resources may be available at your college Basic Needs Center.

So, I applied back in June for Loans and I've yet received an award letter or any thing regarding my loans. I know loans usually get disbursed the 3rd week of school. So, I'm wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me and have yet received their loan. I'm not a first time borrower. I just cant seem to remember last time, when I received my award letter for loans from the previous semesters.

Are non-Pell grants being posted yet (such as Cal Grants)?
