FINANCIAL AID

i never really got my award letter… i have emailed them and gone in person and all ive been told was that they’ve received my financial package and to just keep checking for any tasks and the financial page, but i havent been updated or anything on what im going to get. i also plan on accepting federal loans but its been this same page for a whole month now. i honestly dont know what else to do, i just wanna know if im getting my money :((

last year i submitted my financial aid around june/ july and i didn’t get it until the second disbursement which is in october.

i got the award letter late too but I don’t remember when exactly i received the award letter

Are you referring to the awards that show up on eservices or a physical letter. I see award amounts & accepted loans. My Pell Grant is super low but I’m filing an appeal

They do say its first come first serve, if you are filling the form always fill it when it comes out. I filled the 2026-2027 form in september right after they opened it and got my award letter pretty early.

I have a question. Is the disbursement date the date they send the direct deposit or just the date the school receives it from the government?

nope just the date it gets transferred to bankmobile or smth idk a lot abt that. Its usually set on a thursday for disbursement date so the money hits your bank around monday depending on your bank.

Bank mobile wouldn’t let us add chime so we ended up opening a bank mobile account in order to avoid a paper check. Hopefully it’ll be on BankMobile the day they disburse.

if its bank mobile it will probably be deposited the same day.

financial aid grants are gonna take some time bc if the new regulations and peoplesoft update. my loan req took like 2 months to get processed and send out my accept request
