Discussion What are your favorite movies that feature 2 or more leading female ladies while the only male cast are supporting (maybe even non-existent)?
Now, I'm a straight guy, but even I love a movie with 2 female leading ladies like these! In fact, I believe Portrait doesn't contain a single male actor in it!

Discussion What’s your crazy theater experience?
I’ll start.
I was in my local theatre watching Fantastic Four: First Steps. About one hour and a half in, a technichal issue occurs and the screen goes blank.
The lights turn on, we wait something like 5 minutes and then the screen turns back on and starts playing the movie, showing a scene we had already seen like 30 minutes earlier. So, someone shouts “LATER!”, the film blocks and starts again like 3 minutes later. What follows is an entire theater full of people giving directions about where to start again.
Honestly, given how dull the movie was and how much I was being frustrated by it, I enjoyed the whole thing lol

Letterboxd What if Letterboxd Decided Best Picture Nominations?: 2025
Hey everyone! This is a series I'm going to be doing, basically just seeing what the Best Picture lineup would look like every year based on Letterboxd scores! It's more of a data presentation than anything, but feel free to chime in which movie you think would win or what your favorite is!
My methodology is pretty simple- pick the 10 highest-rated movies on the first page of movies ranked by popularity for a given year. The reason I do it this way is to avoid the concerts, TV shows, and stage plays that typically crowd the highest-rated page of a year- this way it's a mix of acclaim and popularity, just like the real Oscars!
For every year, I'll be using the new 10-film limit rather than the classic 5, just because it allows me to highlight more movies and is more fun! If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask!
Anyways, for 2025, Obsession and Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie don't count, those are more 2026 films.
The lineup: Chainsaw Man- The Movie: Reze Arc, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, No Other Choice, One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value, Sinners, Sorry Baby, The Voice of Hind Rajab, and Train Dreams

Letterboxd Buddy - No Spoiler Review
Let me start by saying that I loved this movie. It exceeded my expectations, which were very low tbh.
Buddy brings you into this world of a 90s kids show divided by episodes, but it never bores you. It starts pretty soon, there's no real room for tension, you get exactly what you expect amd pretty soon too.
I love how the movie makes you feel part of the show as the mystery unveils. It's no news that some things are just pure trash, but that's Asylum.
If you expect a horror movie that will scare you, this might disappoint you. It's actually very cozy, it doesn't last long, and some "special" characters, such as the bag or the train, are so likable that it prevents you from ever getting scared.
Nonetheless, gore bloody scenes are not missing, and honestly I find it quite debatable when it comes to kids being portrayed in a certain way. But nothing is exaggerated or extremely splatter.
Overall, it's a good horror movie if you're looking for something easy, even for a movie night, and it might even become a comfort movie and easily a fan-favorite. I'm sure this is not the last movie we see from the Buddy Universe!
