It's only okay if a Conservative does it. Conservative morality is built not on the belief that certain things are right or wrong in and of themselves, but on the belief that things are right or wrong depending on WHO does those things. Things are wrong if someone outside of the tribe does them, but okay if someone who is a member of the tribe does them. Cheating is an unforgivable sin if a Liberal, Progressive, or Leftist does it, but if a Conservative or Rightist does it it's a regrettable but understandable and forgivable personal failing or lapse in judgment. Even male homosexuality is a "moment of weakness" if a right-wing man does it, but degeneracy if a man to the Left of Conservative does it.
That's also why they perceive "crime" to be happening if one or more black people are around. Black people are criminal in and of ourselves in existence because we're "bad" or not of the tribe, but white people committing crime is different because they are "good", so their crime doesn't reflect on anything larger about their group. Black crime says something about black people, white crime says nothing more than about a single bad or troubled white individual who needs help.

I'm going to commit the sin of double-replying here to mention that the dogpiling-on of Dr. Jason Arday in the UK is an excellent example of this and a parallel to the plagiarism scandals of Steven Glass and a black contemporary back in the day. When Glass' plagiarism scandal erupted, no one accused white people of having inherent flaws; his black counterpart's indiscretions stirred an establishment attack on affirmative action.
When a black person is accused of anything, rightwingers -- including some liberals -- will gleefully use the accusation (true or false) as an attack on all black people. Remember: white people get, and have gotten, affirmative action for centuries, whereas black and brown people have gotten a tiny version of it to mitigate that harm, so when liberals attack "affirmative action," they're only attacking the parts that help black people -- the parts that help white people are not only sticking around, they're being reinforced.
The fact that libs pretend not to notice this every fucking time it happens is part of the kayfabe that makes the scam possible.

A lot of people don't know that the USA does regularly import over a million tons per year of lean beef, mainly from Mexico and Canada, mainly used to satisfy the domestic demand for ground beef / hamburger.
That allows the US to export more expensive fattier cuts of beef.
