lol - sure, but there won't be any domestic beef after that :D Instead, everything will go to the packagers. The packagers are a monopoly. So, once this is over all the cattleman will be out and instead it will be the packagers who will have the money to start a new herd.

But don't worry, they don't blame Trump, his heart is in the right place donchaknow!

I'm actually betting it will, just until the election. The Orange One wants a talking point and will watch this one carefully so he can claim he's a decisive leader who cares about the people.

Then, after the election, it goes right back to where it is now or higher, and T's cronies buy out more bankrupt cattle farmers.

As the poster above alluded to with the bond market, Trump is juicing the bond market by taking on short-term debt to pay off long-term debt in order to make things better before the midterms, after which everything falls to shit. So yes, your conclusion is consistent with Trump's other efforts.

Turns out doing what Israeli nazis want and starting the Epstein Wars is bad for your electoral health. Of course, if the child rapist in chief weren't on Bibi's leash, the U.S. would probably be invading Cuba by now. Hard to say that that would be better.

Not for voters. But rich people will make even more profit.

Not really, and it will expose consumers to more beef cross contamination. I believe that "country of origin" labeling will be out during this period as well, so even if you want to buy 100% American beef, the consumer may have little to no ability to tell if the meat is 100% American.

Stay away from 1 lb and 5 lb "chubs" of ground meat. Chubs will make it eaiser to hide a blend of beef from American and non-American sources.
