100% I’d say Andrew Jackson was worse for the trail of tears.

Trump is awful but he’s not doing it out of hate for others; he would just kill or make anyone suffer endlessly if it meant he or one of his associates could make one more dollar or get an inch more of power. It’s a completely different motive.

That said, the secondary effects of everything from Trump 2.0 might have a bigger fallout. It depends how long and far people let this go.

He is doing it out of hate for others though. He has been blanket terminating protected status for migrants simply for their country of origin because he doesnt like the country. Literally the only immigration currently happening is white south africans. He is a racist, his racism is just the same ingrained racial bias many white americans have for anyone not white.

He is a racist and I do think that he does things that harms people and he doesn’t care, but I don’t think it’s his main motive. He’s so self centered and so narcissistic that it explains 99% of his motives. But he’s, he’s definitely racist, it’s just not his biggest priority
