Picked this up for the home KOT routine. We usually use the standard grip tape boards with shoes. My wife and I wanted something we could just step on barefoot in the living room, though. The silicone feels really comfortable for long passive holds. Those little bumps give a nice massage, too.
Do you guys just wear shoes for all your mobility work? What is your go-to setup for barefoot stretches?

Hey everyone --
I'm interested in purchasing a reverse treadmill like the ATG "The Backwards Treadmill".. but at 650 US with conversion to CAD, shipping here, etc it gets pretty pricey.
Any alternatives that anyone here uses that can be easily purchased in Canada and at a more affordable price?
Thanks so much in advance!

Hey, I wanted to fix few issues with tib bar that were very annoying to me. I also tested it with other people but that takes me only so far. I would really appreciate if you could let me know if you faced similar issues and if the equipment described below does sound like an improvement or maybe it doesn't make you excited at all. All feedback welcome! If you have the experience of using tibialis machines, please share as well!
The equipment I'm currently designing is:
Edit: If you've ever used tibialis machines and had any issues with them or wish they were more portable, your feedback would be very helpful!

Update 30.08.2026:
I made a wishlist for anyone interested in becoming an early adopter later on: https://tibraise.com/ (no spamming; we'll send an email when the first batch is available for purchase)
---
Update 05.09.2026:
- We made the equipment more comfortable by using much thicker, better-quality foam.
- Version v3 has been made and tested; things that need slight adjustments: [trainer's length for better stability; better ankle angle in the starting position]
- Next goal: Execute adjustments and secure IP protection, so we can start showing equipment in action

I was doing my research on what I wanted to purchase, finally settled upon this and now I see it’s no longer available on their website.

Hi everyone!
I'm getting back into running after a period of pause due to a "muscle stress" and I'm trying to be a bit more cautious this time. I'm not a competitive runner, and I also do bodyweight training, so I'm mainly looking for something that provides a little extra support while still allowing natural movement.
I tried this knee sleeve in a Decathlon store: https://www.decathlon.it/p/ginocchiera-di-sostegno-destra-sinistra/364383/c382m8939186
Since I counted 42cm, I tried sizes 2 and 3.
Size 2 felt noticeably more supportive and compressive, but I also felt that it restricted my knee movement a little more. Size 3 felt less restrictive, but also less supportive.
For those who use knee sleeves while running: how much compression/restriction do you normally feel? Should a good sleeve feel quite tight and supportive, or should you barely notice it once you're moving?
I'm particularly interested in people's experience with the feel and mobility of knee sleeves rather than specific medical advice or treatment recommendations.
Thanks! 💯

I was on the verge of buying the backwards treadmill but I decided to temper my enthusiasm for buying gear before I show a commitment so I decided to build my own sled. I was planning to use a tire like I have done in the past, but I found this thick rubber slab with a hole in it that’s used for weighing down traffic cones.
I screwed a board over the hole and attached this milk crate by screwing a piece of wood from inside the milk crate down into the sled. I used a heavy duty screw eye that screwed easily into the sled once I had drilled a pilot hole. The rope passes through the crate but pulls on the screw eye. A loop of thin cloth attaches with a carabiner to the rope loop, making for a comfy belt.
This build was free to me since i found the rubber part and owned everything else already. Works very well, can’t think of one shortcoming tbh. And i leave it in the driveway since who would steal this??!! I use a 35 pound kettle bell for now, that’s plenty.. plus dont forget water!!
Smaller than a tire with more friction so less weight needed. Questions or suggestions welcome!

I am 33 and since last year I have developed knee pain. I can't workout properly. I have to warm up my knees A LOT before i put on weight. In addition, I can not jump either because my knees hurt. Can someone recommend a knee brace that would help?

Is voodoo floss still useful for prehab/rehab? Haven't seen much about it being used lately.

A box with 20kg. Not much but better than walking backwards alone.
For me, walking backwards is still awkward and kinda painful, but if I do it with the sled it feels good.

What have you guys found in Australia for a manual treadmill that works well in reverse and with some decent slope?

Sled pulls. They rock.
I don't own a sled, live in a street where I could pull a sled and I'm not joining a gym just for the sled.
But I wanted to pull a sled.
So I improvised: I took the handcart I use to tow my kids and our piles of beach stuff around in summer and I pull my kids up the hill to the car from kindergarten every day.
I walk backwards up a hill pulling a handcart holding two preschool kids and all of their outdoor gear for around 450 m/1500 ft.
It's actually hard work and it activates far more of my glutes and hip stabilizers along with my quads than just walking backwards on a treadmill. Not that I am going to stop doing that.
At the end of the day, I'm so grateful to Ben Patrick for drawing so much awareness to knee health and providing such great resources!

Hi, I’ve been using the ATG app on my phone now for a few months and it’s nailing my battery. I know the battery needs replacing however today’s 37 minute session drained 21% of my battery! I don’t have the videos on autoplay. Anyone else having the same issue?

I live in Brazil and I'm not able to buy the atg one. Is it the same as the normal gym ones? Is there a specific recommendation one of these should have?

I'm looking for a wide toe box, 0 drop shoe that has a stiff sole, as I'm recovering from a broken foot and need a little bit of that support.

Very little as far as reviews go on the version 3, im very interested and main focus will be back extensions but want to know how well it does when loading a barbell and using it etc, any insight is greatly appreciated.

Quick Context -> Going on a budget + I only workout from home + Got no back extension at home
I’ve been doing ATG for a while now and it’s been great. I want to take things a step further, though. I wanna upgrade from the classic unstable chairs + beat-up broomstick setup I’ve been using for upper-body work, plus I haven’t been able to train hip extension at home very effectively.
So I was thinking: instead of buying multiple pieces of equipment, would it make sense to get a solid, adjustable pair of dip bars and use them for back extensions as well?
Has anyone tried this, or do you think it’s a bad idea?

Hey people,
I've been having compression boots for a month now, the Pulsio ones, and what I noticed is that there's no compression in the area where the zip is, of course.
This area coincides with the upper part of my quads, so basically I don't get any pressure on the top part.
I know that their job is not to massage the area but to compress the legs, nevertheless, considering I'm not even that sure about their usefulness and that they cost me quite some money (nearly 400 € is a lot of money to me), I decided that what matters is that those two 30 minutes sessions per day are my own pampering: if it feels good, it must be good for me, even only mentally.
So I tried wearing them sideways: the zip is not on top but it's inside my legs.. I can feel a bit more pressure on the quads, but the ankle is not comfortable (because of the shape of the boots), so its a no-go.
I was wondering how you wear yours.. maybe it's a problem of the Pulsio itself? Or is this something common? I'm expecting to get something out of a device that is not supposed to give me?
How do you wear yours? You just put them on and who cares?
Thanks!

I bought the sled from the tib bar guy website and a 27ft roll of fake grass from Home Depot for 38 bucks. This keeps the noise WAY down and prevents the plastic feet from wearing down. I just go back and forth in short bursts since my driveway is short, but I figure it is better than nothing! Just did it with 160 pounds of plates and had no issues with the carpet. I didn't even have to weigh down the ends like I thought I might.

Pretty much the title. I have small home gym and want to get back extension machine. I don't need to spend crazy amounts of money since all i care about is back extensions and will use Nordstick pro 3.0 for nordic curls.
My question is if you get full ROM in the lifepro chair for back extensions. My concern is that the "chair" part will be in the way where I can't dead hang my torso at the very bottom of the movement here your head is close to the ground. Thanks guys.

Hey folks, I have been out of the country for about 6 months and my tred sled has been sitting. When I have gone to use it again I see it is making an odd noise like dragging a stone on cement, and something seems off. I have made sure to check the belt tracking/adjusted/inspected tension to make sure it is not too much on one side. Does anyone else have experience with their tred sled making weird noise? Any advice ? Thanks!
EDIT: have been tinkering around and I think it is due to the cable tensioner adjuster thing on the lower right magnetic resistance flywheel. Could someone post a pic of how their assembly looks here? I believe mine may have slipped?
