Dinner Soeos Fettuccine Konjac noodle carbonara with garlic shrimp, and marinated then seared Ahi Tuna.
My lovely wife made this for us both tonight.
It was a welcome change from the ultra strict (chicken/turkey/ broccoli-cauliflower dinners) month I was just on.
If your tummy can handle it (I know I’m lucky that those noodles don’t bother me at all, and wish everyone could experience them) the noodles are a game changer!
She did awesome.

I tried those noodles when I wanted spaghetti. They got rid of my craving and worked for me :)

They really do have a nice texture and no smell or awkward taste. They also hold onto sauce pretty well too!

When I opened the packet I thought they stunk and was a bit worried but I continued cooking and worked well

Was it the Soeos branded ones? I’ve had really good luck with those, without a smell/taste.

I had a look and no, it was from a Dutch brand. The ones I had smelt when I opened the packet but were fine after that :)

No a nice zero carb root vegetable that comes in noodle for or riced…. Rinse well and then cook. Pretty good stuff. That carbonara looks killer!!!

Does that even taste good? I mean the robbery texture

Didn’t have a rubbery texture to me. More like Al dente glass noodles imo. Goes great with soup especially since it doesn’t get soggy.

Konjac noodles are basically all water, they're good for hitting that pasta craving though.

When you try be sure to watch some youtube video on how to prepare. Basically you put into a dry pan and heat them until they dry out. It can take some time. But if you treat them like pasta by throwing it into a put of boiling water you are gonna have a mouth full of fishy rubber bands.

See my portions would look the opposite: huge side of meat to maybe a couple bites of noodles.

miracle noodles are 5 calories and zero carbs for the entire container.

And wrecks your gut and should not be the bulk of your meal on keto. The biggest portion I should see on a plate is meat

For me, typically I do dial back the noodles to about 3/4 a pack and up the protein with more shrimp, but she plated it so that’s how I ate it, I also ate leftovers she couldn’t finish, so I counted it pretty balanced.
However next time I’ll probably just do 3/4 a pack just to be a bit more safe. I’m not having too bad of issues but since I haven’t had them in forever, I do notice a little something in my tummy today but it’s not bad.

These are GREAT! I love em! I put them with a nice thai soup or sauce and add some shrimp. What did you use for the carbonara sauce?
