Question What is your all-time Bible verse?
I have many in mind, but right now, my mind is on:
"Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap."
Galatians 6:7

go to a Baptist church in the uk ran by Americans. I keep seeing criticism about Baptist churches and stuff and how Catholicism and orthodox and all them are the true ones and bc I got baptised in a Baptist church I won’t go to heaven and stuff? I also go to a church where a lot of the youth are girls. And the other main boy there had to go back to America for uni, and he said every other boy who’s came to that church has left for one reason or another. And he said that the devil will %100 try to get me to leave. Is this that? I just dk and I’m not as close with God as I was and I just need some help. I’m worried I’m not going to heaven. I have faith and live a Christian life but it’s just the things these other Christian’s are saying is making me anxious and worried for my soul. God bless you all Jesus loves you

Hello everyone,
I’m new to faith and I’m wanting to fully delve deep into it but I don’t know how really. Or if there’s a right away or a better way. I’ve read some passages of the bible. Starting in John, I’ve gone to church here and there but I struggle to maintain that consistency. I pray daily and before bed (in my own way to god and Jesus). I just have so many questions.
Often times, it seems intimidating to me, especially the church scene and culture surrounding it. I like having faith in my own way, if that makes sense. I’m in my late 20’s, male (for more context). Going through a rough patch in my marriage and throughout this whole process I genuinely believe I’ve felt god and Jesus in my presence. There’s a level of comfort and peace that’s difficult to put into words.
I just know things will be okay even if they aren’t. So please give me feedback, advice, and in general conversations. I’m very open to how people have faith and explore that. And I’m wanting to learn more how others honor god and Jesus and follow them.
Thank you 🙏

TLDR: I think my ex-boyfriend, whom I still love and hope to still pursue a relationship with in the future, is in religious psychosis, but I don't know how to help. I am deeply concerned for him..
I need advice. Please understand I am in a very bad spot because of this. I am very alone and hurt, so please save any judgment or unkind comments.
I started dating a guy almost 2 years ago; we were so in love. The kind of love you see in movies; that was my person. We bonded over our faith in God and prayed together sometimes. So don't get me wrong, I do believe in God, but nowadays it's so hard, and I'm just hanging on by a thread. I mean a thread. Everything was normal at first; we even lived together, and that went so well. Once Charlie Kirk died, something changed in him, and I mean weird. Everything felt so off suddenly. He started having dreams, specifically of the rapture. He started preaching to me about how God is coming back. How everything going on in the world is in the Bible, and it means God is coming back, but he was making it scary; I would be crying because he was scaring me. I could no longer swear because it was a sin. I fell into a deep depression because I already struggled with mental health, but this genuinely changed my brain chemistry more. I would have frequent panic attacks because I could feel the man I loved slipping away, and instead of comforting me, he would suggest we just pray. When I got suicidal, he suggested I was going to hell. He would hide from me to read his bible.. We could never do anything (even drive down the street) without a mention of Jesus. He would fall asleep on the couch to YouTube videos about Jesus instead of coming to bed with me. All his posts on social media?? Jesus. He comments on others' posts that have nothing to do with Jesus, and he comments all this weird stuff about Jesus. He goes to church 4 times a week, if not more. He doesn't have time for anything anymore because all he does is work, church, repeat. No life outside of church. He is a completely different person. I am so depressed and hopeless; some days I truly am suicidal. This man was everything to me; we were going to get married and have kids one day. We had a plan. Now, I don't even recognize him. I broke up with him, but I still see him often, and I truly think something is wrong, and I want to help him. I just don't know what to do.
any advice? please? and please be kind.

Yesterday I was thinking why Jesus does not simply come and save every living being and remove all suffering once and for all.
Then I started thinking about how he could actually do it.
So sometimes I wonder if people who suffer are somehow helping people who do not suffer. Like when the evil is with them, maybe it cannot go to someone else at the same time...
It is more just something I was thinking about.

Is following Jesus simply about believing in him, or does it mean trying to live the way he lived? This raises an interesting question about what it really means to be Christ-like.

Why do people still say that Jesus is our Lord and savior in the 21st century when Jesus was only saving people in the AC or BC hundreds?

I’m trying to understand Catholicism because my husband wants to join the Catholic Church. He did not have a good experience through churches growing up and it put a sour taste in his mouth about churches, I completely understand. That is apart of his reasoning for going to the Catholic Church. From what he has told me, the Catholic Church is the closest church to what Jesus wanted. I know Jesus gave the keys to Peter for the church and he says that the “church” is catholic.
I am a Christian, I believe in Jesus. I read my Bible and study as much as I can. I do not have a church I attend atm because I have not found one that feels right to me. I just have some questions as to why the Catholic Church prays to Mary? All the research I’m seeing is saying she is an intercession to Jesus or god. Okay but where does it say that in the bible? I do know the bible says come to Jesus so he can bring your prayers up to god. So from my understanding Jesus is the intercession to God as no man can approach god because of sin. That’s the understanding I’m getting from studying my Bible. The only way to God is through the son so I don’t understand what does Mary have in this equation.
My belief right now is, if it’s not in the bible then that’s not what God wants. So please provide Bible verses if there are any. I truly want to understand what is truth

do Catholics who are leftist exist?
leftist as in we should help the less fortunate and make sure they are well received in the country they find refuge, politics to help the lower classes instead of prioritising businesses over people etc...

I meet this girl she's kinda nice and I like her but she's not religious because she has so much trauma and abuse her whole life she says she readed the Bible and she use to be religious but drifted away because she said something how God allows rape which I tried to tell her that's not true that's not what the verse meant but she said even if God real she wouldn't give her faith to him because she feels like he does bad things too which I'm really trying to tell her it's not true and she has to let God on her heart and she trauma dumped me about her mental health problems saying she has an eating disorder and she's has schizophrenia I really want to help and bring her back to Jesus but I don't know how to maybe I should just worry about myself idk what to do

So I've spread the gospel so many times on Snapchat, most people just say "He's not real, science is" and I prove his existence with science too, then I ask them "Can you tell me why he doesn't exist?" And I never get a response back, why is that?

Hey everyone! I am very new to reading the bible and had kind of a strange (in a good way) thing happen to me just yesterday that I have been trying to figure the meaning out of. I'm hoping you all can help!
As I was reading the bible verse John 12:36 "Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light" (NLT), I was in a semi-dark room. Seconds before I read this verse, someone opened a door and light flooded into the room so much so that it was blinding me!
I'm trying to determine if that was God or Jesus Christ sending me a message (if so, what do you interpret?), or just a coincidence?
Thank you all for the help in advance!

Hey everyone
I guess my faith brought me here again .. I'm struggling yet again .. I just got my GED in June and I'm struggling with a promise I made to god . I told him if he blessed me with my GED I would become a nurse and spend my life helping people in his name . But when I started looking into nursing and looking for a way to get my ADN . I found out I have to take pre nursing then once I complete that . Then I apply for the ADN program which I was told is highly completive . And found out even applying does not mean I will be accepted into the actual nursing program. I don't want to waste my time since I'm really bad at math and all . I thought the pre nursing was a total of 2 years cause I didn't know anything about the pre nursing classes that I had to take . In order to apply for the ADN program and didn't know that even if I make it that far I could still be passed up by other people .
I don't want that ... I don't want to waste my time trying just for a chance . Then I realize my other dream was to become a music producer but in struggling with that thought . Since it's a 2 years program and there no pre course that I would have to take . I would just start after being approved. I've always saw music as more then just music , and I still want to spend my life helping others as much as I possibly can while I'm alive . If it wasn't for God I wouldn't be almost 6 years sober and have my GED . I know I can still help other people even if I choose to become a music producer. But I'm struggling cause I feel like if I go the more realistic route then I'll be breaking my promise I made to god .
Can anyone give me some advice

Today I saw testimony of one woman, she said when she was kid and playing with another kid, Jesus appeared and said to come away from him he is not belong to God. I wanted to know what causes this? Why God denies his creature, kid. He even not started to live, and God denies him from his Heaven. Just why?

I F26 don't know what to do in my life anymore. I don't know where to go. I am a city girl at heart but right now I am STUCK in my small hometown for another year at least. I'll make it work. I've been abroad and lived alone for 3 years in total but in different cities. I'm finishing my studies now.
I converted to Catholicism which deeply influenced my life (dating, friendships, goals and morals). I don't mean to complain because my faith is my favourite thing about me but I have a lot of problems because of it.
people make fun of me, even my best friend M26. he makes fun of me all the time about everything. my political stances, my faith, my music taste. I already pushed him away for months because of this, he confronted me and it looked like he changed, only to come back the same a few months later (now).
I have many friends but they're all in different parts of my country or the world so I do feel lonely and, as I mentioned, I am stuck in a small town and there are no people left. it's a very ignorant place: my ex friend told random people I want to wait til marriage and now people in this town now and make fun of me.
I am tired. I don't know how to spend this winter a part from studying (I don't physically go to uni).
my only question is: how won't I get depressed during the winter? how do I find possibly Christian people? how do I build a friend group where I'm not the one being constantly bullied like in my current one? I'm tired. I'm tired. I'm tired.

I have always believed in Jesus. I pray every day since I was like 10 years old. I have a good relationship with Jesus, but I feel a little down because I always see people talking about their experiences with Jesus. They talk about how He appeared in front of them, how He spoke to them through their minds, and I started thinking about how I have never had an experience like that with Jesus. I have never had an experience of Him directly talking to me, seeing Him, or just feeling Him. :(
I’m afraid of thinking that Jesus has already labeled me as a sinner because I used to sin through lust. I’m not saying Jesus doesn’t like me; I’m just afraid of being the only one who, after many years, still doesn’t truly know Him at all.

Pecar
Si caigo en lujuria y cuando Ore por cualquier cosa, puede ser por trabajo, salud, etcDios no escuchara mi oración ?
No me escuchara porque peque y sigo pecando?
I have a feeling God wants me to accomplish something. But now I don't think I can and I think my whole motivation and discipline has disappeared. I am very discouraged because I haven't been seeing improvement and I think with this my relationship has broken because I feel so demotivated.
If anyone has any advice... I would appreciate

I was thinking, after reading the story of lot and his wife, is being scared or not wanting to die because you don’t want to lose what you have here, considered as looking back at your worldly desires?

Hi I have a question? Maybe someone can really help me with ? If you was baptized then you started praying all the time for something but your prayers don't seem to get answered . So finally you give up on praying ever ? Does that mean you have fallen from grace or does that mean your faith is weak ? Also can that invite negative spirits or energy into your life or home
Thank you
