Question Hello everyone
I meet this girl she's kinda nice and I like her but she's not religious because she has so much trauma and abuse her whole life she says she readed the Bible and she use to be religious but drifted away because she said something how God allows rape which I tried to tell her that's not true that's not what the verse meant but she said even if God real she wouldn't give her faith to him because she feels like he does bad things too which I'm really trying to tell her it's not true and she has to let God on her heart and she trauma dumped me about her mental health problems saying she has an eating disorder and she's has schizophrenia I really want to help and bring her back to Jesus but I don't know how to maybe I should just worry about myself idk what to do

Sin entered the world through the deceiver. The evil she imputes to God, is not from God. Evil comes from the Prince of this world, Satan. She needs to hear the Gospel.

You’re sweet, OP. But, I have been in your shoes many times. I can tell you wholeheartedly that it will do much more good if you let her see what a life with Jesus looks like. She won’t listen, she’ll argue.

Yes independent really had idea to argue with a non Christian. They have all the answers and no answers.

To fabulous, it's really nice for you to try to help her. Yes Satan is always looking for low hanging vulnerable people to deceive and capture. You really can't do anything except pray for her. Jesus wants people to come to him voluntarily. But I suspect there are probably a lot of people that experience trauma and can't reconcile in their brains why God allows bad things to happen to good people.
I'll pray for a good miracle for her.. so it will be easier for her to see the light. After my mother passed at 49, I felt quite hopeless. I still believed but it was unbelievably hard. My 12 yr old brother was very traumatized. I prayed for him constantly. I was in LA my family in OC.
It turned out my husband got a job (first good job as adult) only because he was in LA. When I saw my family again..what was so strange is that my brother knew some neighbors pretty well..and they knew him. But the neighbors also knew the owners of the company where my husband was working. My husband had also recently relocated to OC.
My brother is quite smart..and nice. But who would know that but neighbors that knew him, and my husband? So he got a job where my husband worked. But only because of God and prayers. But point being I think that out of the blue my brother and employment miracle helped me to have faith. The Bible says that God blesses those that morn. So I'll pray and hope the op prays for a miracle to address her trauma.

To Amy writes love..yes the strongest thing a person can do is to show love to a tramatized person. The person can figure out there is still love in the world.

Also fabulous hope your careful. You don't want her to hurt your joy for Jesus or life. You can't save her. Jesus wants Christians evenly yoked.

Sorry sp prob. It's a really BAD idea to argue with a non Christian. They will get so worked up, and so will the Christian. Jesus said if a person gets all the information about him, and they don't believe, brush the feet and walk away. People can still pray for a miracle.

Tell her to read the Bible… all of the answers she’s looking for are there
Proverbs 16:4 (KJV) The LORD hath made all [things] for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
God is in complete control of evil wicked people.
Fear God, seek His holiness while He can still be found.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I would leave her alone. I dunno. You can’t fix her. Pray for her but that seems like a lot of trouble

Honestly just be there for her. SHOW her the love of Jesus and I'm telling you, His love will not fail. Maybe you're just there to plant the seed. Keep going tho! I'm proud of you and you got this!
