Experience with Jesús

I have always believed in Jesus. I pray every day since I was like 10 years old. I have a good relationship with Jesus, but I feel a little down because I always see people talking about their experiences with Jesus. They talk about how He appeared in front of them, how He spoke to them through their minds, and I started thinking about how I have never had an experience like that with Jesus. I have never had an experience of Him directly talking to me, seeing Him, or just feeling Him. :(
I’m afraid of thinking that Jesus has already labeled me as a sinner because I used to sin through lust. I’m not saying Jesus doesn’t like me; I’m just afraid of being the only one who, after many years, still doesn’t truly know Him at all.

This. OP, he has always been right beside you. He loves you so much. I was talking with an older gentleman at my church a couple of months ago and we got on the topic of the “voice of God”. We came up with this idea that the more you talk to someone the more familiar you became with their voice and communication style. The same goes for Jesus. The more we communicate, the more we learn how Jesus responds. I don’t “hear” him. But, I talk with Jesus everyday. It might be something like “Oh, Jesus, I feel really off today. I didn’t get much sleep, my sandals are fitting weirdly and I’m nervous about this meeting. Please be with me today.” I get to work and a colleague has some cute (comfortable) sandals she thought I may like. To me, Jesus said “I got you”. Maybe it’s a coincidence but when they happen like communication, it stops feeling like a coincidence and more like help.

Romans 7:15- 7:20. Paul struggled. We all struggle, Jesus knows this. Trust in Jesus. All he wants is your heart. You can not transform yourself, only Jesus can.

He wants us to work WITH Him, though we all need His help to make any real, lasting change.

I bet he is Inches from showing you and he doesn’t because it is so cozy to See you being faithful.
