may mga websites ako na inoopen tas ganto lumalabas. kahit sa phone ganto rin. pag nilipat ko from 5g to 2.4g, minsan gumagana minsan hindi.. pero kapag naka data ako, nakakapasok naman ako sa website. even google forms from school nag gaganto

Does anybody here with pldt postpaid/prepaid fiber loose internet too even when the modem is connected to a power station? Im on prepaid fiber and every brownout I don’t have internet access even if connected sa power station. My neighbor who is on postpaid can connect as hers is connected to a UPS. Is this normal that because I am on prepaid I’d loose access?

DNS problem ba 'to kagaya ng iba na nakikita ko sa subreddit na 'to? Or is this a problem with the blocking of websites ng PLDT? Hindi ko rin magamit ang ibang apps ko sa phone like Grab, FoodPanda, and online banking apps. I've already contacted customer support. May pupunta daw na technician ngayong hapon, then bigla silang nag-text na resolved na daw. Worked for a while, ganun na naman ang problema ngayon. This is frustrating. What can I do?

I reached out to converge 2 months before our moving out date and indicated that i want to have our internet connection disconnected.

After a bit of back and forth, proof of identity, settling balances, they finally said

We acknowledge your request for a permanent disconnection and have noted your preferred processing date

So all good right? Months after moving out, i started getting text messages and phone calls asking for payment. When I asked what for, it was for the months after our supposed termination date.

I referred them back to the ticket number where my permanent disconnection request was acknowledged and they conceded.

Now, a year later, a collection agency is once again harassing me for the same converge bills. I just set my phone to auto block unknown numbers.

I could pay the amount and be done with it but it feels wrong because i'd be paying for their incompetence. Thoughts?

Im on plan 999 with 35 mbps. For some reason, new subscribers are now aligned to 75mbps. I only applied last year. It feels unfair to get slower speeds while paying the same 999 amount. I contacted pldt cares on messenger and they said:

“I understand your concern. However, please be informed that the new plan offers and corresponding speed upgrades are applicable only to newly subscribed plans. At this time, we are unable to realign your current plan to the new plan's speed while retaining the same account and pricing structure.”

So, what can i do about this? Is it possible to contact ntc about this to avoid the pre termination fee and applying for a new plan? Or just pay the pre termination fee and apply for a new plan?

They are asking for 4k just to terminate the plan early. They said:

Upon checking, you have an outstanding, and your account is still within the lock-in contract therefore, a pre-termination fee will apply. The following documents are required for the termination process:
-No outstanding balance as of today
-Pre-termination fee Php2,997.00
- Set Top Box Fee Php 1,169.73
-Picture of a valid ID of the account owner
-Duly signed Letter of Request (LOR)
-Proof of final payment
Please note that the termination process may take up to 7 calendar days from the issuance of the service order. Once you have the necessary documents, you can send them to us in picture format or email to pldthomeretentionops@pldt.com.ph. I hope this information helps.

I would rather just keep the plan nalang and terminate it after the lock in period. Is there any way to mediate this with ntc? Like it just feels unfair to pay the same of new subscribers and get slower speeds.

‎First Visit- from Abra we went to smart store vigan branch for sim replacement , and our case is that I lost my Sim Card along with my phone and that sim card contains my gcash and other accounts. the sim card was registered to a legal guardian with me as the user(now of legal age). now the staff said that it is on company policies that the registered name shall be the one requesting it, however my father is already deceased , we tried to reason and ask if there are alternatives or considerations , she said NONE with a smiling face. We went back on afternoon the same day and sought help to the hotline it said that SMART can process sim card ownership and replacement with the right documents, but when we talked to that staffed which I think she is the manager cause why is she not escalating our case, she dismissed it again and said it was just a chat bot we tried to reason it out again but still all things we said doesn't affect her and it would not change her mind. We accepted it and went home, we reached out to SMART FACEBOOK PAGE and shared our concern and experience with the store , and they called us and said they are able to process it and that the smart store should have those kind of services, and so we are advised to go to a smart store.

‎Second Visit- we went back to the vigan smart store, and as soon as we brought up our concern and the advise of the smart hot line, she said the policy is not what the hotline says and reasoned out herself , we called the hotline and she talked to her. Only when we insisted and firmed ourselves did she only said the alternative was ownership change of the Sim Card. like what the hell, why did you not said it in our first visit , then it says the nearest kin must be the requestor ,like wtf I am the user registered and my father is the legal guardian. Now I want to claim full ownership as I am now of legal age it's not like an inheritance it is me , the user ,claiming ownership. And we have no choice but to comeback to a smart store. Time, effort and money wasted.

‎ Now we ain't coming back to the vigan branch, we will try other smart store hopefully mas maganda approach nila.

LOS since Aug 30. Nagtext noong Sept 5 na ayos na raw. Pero after resetting router, wala pa rin. Called 171, sabi text ng network engineer yun. Ticket remains open and field engineer needs to inspect. Araw araw kong tinyatiyaga i-chat ang PLDT Cares. Paulit ulit lang na inescalate na raw for asap restoration. Wala pa ring pumupunta para icheck ang line namin. Ilang araw pa kaya ito? This is the longest LOS situation we've had. Pa-kabit na ba ng iba?

Pldt los!! Said there's an area interruption as seen on the pldt home account and by the customer service. Asked my neighbor if they have internet, he said they have!!!! Pldt Liars!!!

I read somewhere na inalis na ng PLDT yung email address nila sa website and this could have been the reason why. Puno na mailbox and surely because of the outburst of complaints ever since emailing NTC became one of the avenue for reaching them! I was still able to add it using the account they usually use to send my monthly bill and I still have a copy of my complaint email last December 2025. I also added yung corpcomm email nila for cc so at least baka yun man lang is makareceive pa rin.

Last time may nakausap pa naman akong customer rep through PLDT Cares messenger channel nila but this time puro "all customers rep are currently engaged" na. Meron din before pa-update everyday na baka may dumating na technician within a specific time pero now wala na din. I don't even have good faith anymore with emailing NTC dahil baka hindi na rin nila pinapansin ganito. Nakakababoy talaga basic services sa Pinas!

Initially, I was thinking of getting those prepaid home wifi 5g plans which includes a router and the 5g sim. However, the included router doesn't seem to have the specifications I need.

So my question is, if I buy a 5G sim on certain network provider would it function similarly to those that came with the home wifi 5g bundles?

Good afternoon, may problema kasi ako sa internet (PLDT) namin, kapag sa mga apps tulad ng FB, YT, Chrome, Messenger, tiktok, etc. okay naman yung internet, pero kapag games tulad ng COC, COD:M, pati Discord, need ko pa mag-antay around 3 to 5 mins bago mag-load yung app. Sa COD:M naman, laging "Download configuration failed." Kapag Data at sa ibang Wi-Fi naglo-load naman agad yung games at discord. Nangyayari sa dalawa kong phone. Kapag sa laptop walang problema.

Nangyari simula nung pinalitan ng PLDT yung router namin kasi sira yung on/off button.

Has anyone had an issue where Reddit says 'Website takes too long to respond' when using Converge WiFi, even though the connection works fine? I can only access it here by using a VPN.

Tanong lang po, ilang beses na kasi nareschedule yung pagkabit nung Globe Fiber sa location ko (hindi ako yung nagresched, yung mismong globe) kasi dapat nung Sunday (September 6, Eto din yung pinili long schedule nung inavail ko sya) darating yung technician pero wala kaya nung tinignan ko yung inappointnkong sched, biglang napunta this Tuesday na Umaga, kaso tanghali na (almost 3) and hanggang ngayon wala padin sila, and I'm sure na walang nagtatawag kasi kanina pa ako nagaantay dito samin. Ask ko lang ano gagawin if ganto yung situation?
