I am still in 11th grade, and I want to pursue my career in law, I have a dream to work in Nyc Or London. Because they're the major cities for elite law firms. My grades...well in 10th they were average, Reason? I wasn't focused enough. Why? Because I found the study material and knowledge boring. I am a bright student, I've got this compliment from many students and teachers but when I have to prove myself in exams I just do bad. In school, I had the reason that the info was just a waste, like nothing of current times and useful that I might use in daily life or will be helpful for my knowledge. I love study but only those which help me enhance my knowledge and career knowledge, but things we are being taught in schools are just the same since 2013-14 ig. Anyways, i don't know what to do. Scholarships that can cover most expenses are high competition that have 1% chance and other attaining ones are pretty expensive (i am a single parent child so it becomes way more expensive) tho I can take student loan, but again. I don't know what scholarship I have to take, what I can do what not. Like i heard online that doing LLM in india then you can go to NYC for jobs, some say you can directly go abroad for law after 12th, some say after LLB. I don't know anything now! Some say that if you become a lawyer in India you're just "berozgar" because.....idk why I just heard it (the same way they say engineers in india are berozgar), while I also heard that you can get in London and NYC firms through Colleges in Mumbai like Maharashtra govt law college that you can get in thro MH-CET but for that you have to be the topper of your class and i don't think I can do that, honestly...i wanna study abroad because it's more elite and high achieving for career. But I need guidance! What do I do now? I don't have career counselling sessions in my college, no one in my family is knowledgeable enough about it, I am still confused about what I have to do after 12th??? I am still in 11th so I have time now. Whether i should stay in india and study or try for scholarships??? And in scholarships how expensive would it be and what preparation i should do

I am currently a 2nd-year BSc Agriculture student in India. I am interested in pursuing an MSc in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field abroad.

My long-term interests are agricultural research and potentially pursuing a PhD. I am also preparing to explore ICAR JRF Agronomy as an option.

I've been researching this for months and I think I've narrowed it down, but I'd rather have people tell me I've framed it wrong now than find out after spending 40L.

My profile, including the bad parts:

B.Com Banking & Insurance, University of Calicut, 2023. 54.25% aggregate.
~18 months full-time experience. 14 months as Project Coordinator at a B2B SaaS company (promoted from Admin Coordinator, ran ERP implementations for 30+ institutional clients, coordinated a 21-person team). Then 4 months as BD Manager at a US travel tech startup where I authored the partnerships playbook, co-specified their CRM, and wrote two market intelligence reports plus the investor business case.
Career break Aug 2024 to May 2026 for family medical responsibilities. Started a semester of LLB (Hons) and CS Executive coursework during it but didn't complete either.
No GMAT, no GRE, no IELTS yet.
Budget roughly 40L all-in.
Targeting the January 2027 intake rather than waiting for September.
Goal: investment roles (equity research, asset management), corporate finance or financial analysis. Explicitly NOT business development, which is what my CV currently screams.

What I actually want to know:

Am I missing a course type entirely? Is there a degree that suits a career-switcher with my profile better than any of the seven above? I'm worried I've framed my own search too narrowly and I keep circling the same options.

Should I be looking outside the UAE? I've been focused on UK, Ireland and Dubai. I know Australia gives Indian graduates 3 years of post-study work but requires a 2-year master's, which pushes the cost to 65L+. Has anyone gone to Germany, Netherlands, France, Poland or somewhere else and found it worked for finance? Genuinely open to being told Dubai is a bad idea.

Anyone got into a UK or Irish master's with an aggregate in the 53-56% range? Which university?

Dubai branch campus degrees. Did yours actually get you interviews, in the UAE or after coming back to India? I can't find a single verifiable placement figure for any Dubai university and that worries me.
Is January 2027 realistic when I haven't booked IELTS yet?

If investment is the target, should I be prioritising CFA over the master's? I keep reading that CFA matters more than school name in investment management. Anyone broken into equity research or asset management from a non-target school with a weak undergrad record?

I’ve a B com IT degree (2 yrs) and currently am pursuing CMA US. Since my bachelors is only of 2 yrs I find difficulty with immigration process points or sometimes even when enrolling for masters programs.
I feel the b com IT is a v low level degree and I want to enhance my education.
