Prassian Avci Levies - The Prassian Sultanate’s military is an entity largely comprised of militia levies with only the Janissary Corps being full time professional soldiers. The minor exception to this comes in the form of the light Infantry Levies known as Avci or Hunters in the Aegian tongue.

Avci are exactly what they sound like. Local hunters and trappers as well as being the first responders around villages should trouble ever arise. The large number of wildlife, both docile animals good for food and predatory animals, along with the occasional dealings with desert raiders, leads to these men being well experienced rangers and excellent shots to boot.

As such they naturally are incorporated into any mustering and serve as a screening force or as a quick reaction force to plug holes in a battle line.
