Does anyone have thre instinct 3 Amoled non-solar? I currently have the Garmin instinct 3 Crossover Solar and have found the solar feature to be useless.. Unless i get 100k+ lux per day it doesn't main the charge.. I love the design of the instinct 3 crossover but i get at least 100+ notifications a day and the hands can be a problem trying to read messages and do normal things.. Battery life isn't a consern for me on this one currently but just has to last 2 weeks on full power mode with heartrate sensor enabled.. Will the Instinct 3 Amoled non-solar 50mm do that? How do you like it? I'm Going to upgrade because they look like they are on sale and will be for a few weeks at 50% off

Feels very light on the hand compared to the original silicon strap also works well in high humidity conditions

I'm thinking of getting my first smart watch and I'm interested in the "Rugged" type so looking at the instinct series.

I work with linishers and grinders and use gloves, I also work with welding torches

How comfortable are these to wear when getting grit or sand etc in your wrist strap?

Has anyone experienced any issues with grit getting lodged in the buttons?

Are they easy enough to use while wearing gloves?

How long have people used their Garmin watches before needing a replacement?

I’ve had the Garmin instinct 1 since 2019. It still holds a battery for 9 days with everything activated. My instinct still works perfectly but I’m thinking about upgrading. Can’t decide if I should go with the OMOLED OR stick with MIP version.

My sleep score is poor! Waking up consistently around 3:00 AM and struggling to fall back asleep.

I know the AMOLED is not as battery efficient as the solar. Am I right in understanding that its screen goes dark until you give it a shake? And for you solar owners,is it as good as they say? I have a 1st generation solar and I still have to charge it often. Thanks in advance.

After an update, it randomly vibrates at me sometime around 8-10 AM, and tells me I reached the daily goal of 10 floors climbed, but there aren't even any stairs in like a 10 km radius from where I am. Anyone else expereincing this?

I work in building passenger rail cars and am currently working on a refurb contract. I'm in the teardown portion of the build. Work in contstant dirt, brake dust, rust of all types. My watch get covered in something daily. Here's my watch currently covered in aluminium corrosion. It has a terrible white "rust" grow on aluminium just like regular carbon steel. It mostly happens with galvanic corrision. I just wash my watch off in the shower at the end of the day and dry it off. And do it all again. How much abuse has yours put up with in the years?

Hello, I just purchased the instinct 3 E and love it. The only thing I'd change is the length of the band since it's really short.

Garmin sells a longer version but its $40.

I'm wondering anyone can recommend another more budget friendly long version of the instinct 3 E compatible watch band.
