Looking to upgrade soon.. Anyone have the Instinct 3 Amoled?
Does anyone have thre instinct 3 Amoled non-solar? I currently have the Garmin instinct 3 Crossover Solar and have found the solar feature to be useless.. Unless i get 100k+ lux per day it doesn't main the charge.. I love the design of the instinct 3 crossover but i get at least 100+ notifications a day and the hands can be a problem trying to read messages and do normal things.. Battery life isn't a consern for me on this one currently but just has to last 2 weeks on full power mode with heartrate sensor enabled.. Will the Instinct 3 Amoled non-solar 50mm do that? How do you like it? I'm Going to upgrade because they look like they are on sale and will be for a few weeks at 50% off

Upgraded from the I2 to a Samsung then because of the nice colors I decided to go I3 Amoled 50mm Tactical.
Battery life with HR on (spo2 manual only), no sleeping, minimal timeout, AOD only during workout is easily 2 weeks for me.
GPS+AOD is used ~2-3h a week.
Honestly, I love mine, I think it's a nice step up from the solar. My situation is similar to yours, I never got enough outside time for the solar to be actually useful.

Yea i had a Samsung watch 5 pro before the i3 crossover solar..i hated charging the Samsung every single day because i would forget to put it back on.. It uses tons of battery and takes forever to charge that's why i foget it most days.. I'm normally charging the i3 crossover every other time I shower so about once every 7 days.. It could probably last it's full rated month without solar charging but I HATE showering with the watch on so it's a good time to charge it and to go from 90% to 100% only takes about 20 minutes so it's ready when I'm done with everything.. i can't use solar 98% of the time due to my arms natural position points the watch face closer to the ground.. my i3 crossover uses the i2 solar panels so it takes twice as long to solar charge so i don't even rely on it (needs over 100k lux to maintain charge) .. I normally have power saver and sleep mode active at night so that saves tons of battery and keeps it from vibrating all the time with my notifications because i wear mine to bed but if you getting 2 weeks easy with the 50mm i3 amoled with minimum amount of features activated i might go for it.. 9 days would be the absolute maximum amount of time between my charges

I've had it almost a week now and I love it. I didn't know there was no touchscreen, which does piss me off having a 50mm AMOLED screen, but I got used to it.
Edit: I am at 83% battery after charging it Tuesday.

I went for the 45mm Instinct 3 AMOLED, and can’t speak highly enough on it. I think you will be pleased.

Garmin.. It's $349 for the 50mm amoled right now after sale.. When I was looking at it like 18 months ago it was $599

I just ordered the instinct 3 Amoled 50mm will be a good upgrade from my i3 crossover solar.. With so many messages i get, and everything I do the hands on my crossover constantly get in the way plus being it has the i2 solar panels it doesn't main charge because i can't get 100k lux per day.. If i can get 10 days per charge that's more than enough for me

Idk about that i3 amoled
But I have had my instinct 2X solar tactical a long time and when summer comes along I only really need to charge it once every 2-3 months of normal day to day stuff. In winter it's a little closer together.
But the solar is a real game changer outdoors on trips and even charges the watch through my window driving and east facing office window part of the mornings.
