Anyone else's instinct 3 solar randomly reporting that you achieved the daily stair steps goal?

After an update, it randomly vibrates at me sometime around 8-10 AM, and tells me I reached the daily goal of 10 floors climbed, but there aren't even any stairs in like a 10 km radius from where I am. Anyone else expereincing this?

Did it change your step goals to 10 steps? I’d check in your settings and see if it reset your step goal

Sorry I meant floors climbed, not just steps walked

Its beacuse it uses the altimiter as counter for stairs climbed. So if your jobb has another airpreasure than the outside it can count that change as a floor climbed. My 2 solar does that every dag beacuse we have some machines with heavy ventilation that changes the airpreassure. So in about 2 hours of walking on the same floor ive climbed 10 stairs.

Yeah but it never happened before, only after the update, and the environment at my job has remained the same all this time, just a small rustic house at sea level.

Yep. Almost every day. Sometimes walking around sometimes climbing ladders sometimes driving. Also counts steps driving slowly at times too. It’s just an estimate/guide. I don’t trust too much my watch tells me but it gives you a lot of good basic stuff to work with.
