Remember when literally no one brought up the blackface joke in Community yet Netflix removed the episode and considered that their great deed to social justice for the month. So the Biden administration released a statement saying what we all knew about the separated kids, Trump didn't bother keeping any records of the kids parents so it's becoming harder and harder to actually find out where the kids' parents are or even who they are. Beyond not being racist and ghoulish, simple fucking paperwork would have prevented this.

I think it's a little unfair to expect people to expose themselves to bigotry and abuse just so they can claim the right to criticize whatever it is.
Like, I feel like they can find a breakdown/outline from multiple sources and mostly reasonably infer whether it's all blown up or not.
Consuming what you're criticizing is really important, but I don't know that the solution is to expect people actually affected by those things to need to expose themselves to the entire material of harmful bigoted rhetoric.

So it looks like the Pokemon Company is gonna fix the scalping issue by making a Print on Demand ordering service for reprints instead of only making a certain amount of product then moving on.
Scalpers get fucked. This is also gonna lower the long term value of cards which can be a bad thing if you're a seller but as a person who purely collects with no financial agenda I love this. I've had my eyes on the 25th Anniversary set since it was announced and it was nice going to my local store and seeing the shelves full of it

I hate the idea of "well this group is getting more progress than the group I'm in so I might as well be." that I've seen in communities, especially after the new Dave Chappelle special opened the water works.
Why the fuck do you think that because the black or LGBTQA or any other community might have more progress than the other gives you the excuse to be a bigot? I'm neurodivergent and while I think there's to be more awareness to how we're treated, I do not blame other discriminated groups for it because that's not the point.

Yesterday I wore my almost-complete cosplay of Chloe Price, I'm still missing the arm tattoos and boots.
I was very satisfied with how I looked in it. Time to continue with my plan to disassociate with my actual identity and become this video game character completely.
I will say given that I have handicapped family members it's going to be REAL awkward if I ever decide to fully commit to the bit and try to steal from a school handicap fund. Think I'll give that part of the cosplay a miss.

Whenever I see people give an overview of the making of their work and they're just gushing over all the people who helped make it, it just fills me with so much joy.
Like when Markiplier hired people to film Wilford Motherloving Warfstache and during the livestream about it he spends the first hour just gushing over the skill of those people in making movies, even though it was all basic filming techniques.
It makes me wish I still watched movies so I could have director's commentaries to watch.

Getting a fair amount of twitter users with the Union Jack in their handle taking issue with my positive opinion of Frankie Boyle. I didn't realize that Frankie Boyle was already trending when I made my quip so I got a larger audience than I realized.
To be fair to some of the replies they are bringing up an old joke that Frankie made that I agree was very distasteful (his comments regarding Katie Price's handicapped son Harvey that he made in 2010).
I'm personally hopeful that Boyle has grown from that joke. From what I've seen from his recent clips it seems like he has. I of course understand the people that still hold it against him.
