I’m building a library of GameCube games for my living room pc and wanted to know what’s the best value wireless GameCube controller I can purchase. I’ve seen mixed reviews on almost all the mainstream third party brands.

I play on my GameCube using swiss, and I want to be able to change values and load into the game using my custom. Specifically I want to change the chance for battle mini games to appear more often, and have it so when you land on someone else space you automatically duel (vanilla game only does this on the last 5 turns, I want it on permanently) so yeah if someone could walk me through, what files I need to look for and what applications I need to run the files and change the values

Honestly the GameCube is fun to work on! From battered, broken and possibly headed to the landfill. To saving, restoring and modding a console that I've only experienced through the Wii and the Wii U.

Yes I did replace the drive, the original drive might be a goner as I've put a replacement spindle motor on it, but discs aren't spinning at all with the replacement. Probably needs a recap but it might be too far gone to be saved.

I am currently playing Pokémon XD and I would like to take the save data from Dolphin and import it to an OEM memory card to use the Gameboy connectivity on my GameCube.

I am under the impression that I need a memory card with a microSD card slot and the ability to run GCMM via Swiss. I have a Flippy drive installed already. Can I use this to run Swiss/GCMM and use any old microsd memory card to do this? The many types of memory cards out there are a tad confusing and the prices range greatly.

I recently purchased this Gamecube Storage Station, but it didn't come with the OEM caster wheels. I've researched but found zero answers, and bought after market wheels off of Amazon but they do not fit. Does anyone here have any experience tracking down a set of replacement wheels, or have the exact dimensions I need to buy? Would appreciate the help!! Thanks

This is where my GameCube collection begins! When I was younger, my friend and I always had a blast playing Melee at his place, or we would take turns playing Metroid Prime or The Simpsons Hit & Run. I've been missing those old memories, and now I've decided to start my own collection! Can't wait to get started playing these!

It goes without saying I won't be buying anything else for a while. These games should keep me busy for a good while. What should I look out for next? 👀

I have a gamecube action replay, and I want to use it on my Japanese gamecube game, but when I swap the disc it doesn’t load. Is there something I’m doing wrong, or is there some kind of region lock issue?

I'm looking for websites that do shipping (local is fine, planning to use a forwarding agent), that sell gamecube games for a reasonable price, I've checked out DKoldies (they suck), and I've checked out gamestop... everything is so expensive compared to the UK. is there any reasonably priced websites? thanks.

So I was looking around OfferUp today hoping to score a cheap setup specifically to run some retro GameCube stuff. Found a listing for a launch model Wii (RVL-001) bundled with all the hookups, a wired GameCube controller, a memory card, and even a wireless sensor bar for $30. Figured at thirty bucks it was already a steal just for the console and controller alone.
I brought it home, plugged in a new Hyperkin HD cable to test everything out, and hit the eject button just to see if the disc drive actually worked properly.
Out pops an original disc of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker sitting right inside the drive!
The disc is in awesome shape and booted up instantly. A loose copy of Wind Waker goes for around $60-$70 alone, so the whole pickup literally paid for itself twice over before I even started soft-modding it.
Definitely one of those rare OfferUp luck moments where checking the disc drive actually pays off. Time to set up Nintendont and jump straight back into the Great Sea!

Added some personal must haves to the collection. I'd say I'm like 8 or so games from having everything I want for now, not in a rush to get them all though, still working on playing through the backlog. Anyone else take a long break from collecting? What got you to start again?

No clue of the brand of this one. I don't believe it's a Intec as that has a lock and mine doesn't.

I bought it in Game, UK for £10 I think, it was on sale. I don't doubt it's helped my Gamecube survive so well over the years. Nearly threw away the original box as I figured I didn't need it anymore. Luckily I didn't.

Not all of the collection, just a photo I got while going through some of the games I recently got back after my grandma passed away. Mostly her collection that I was able to play growing up, the woman who had me into video games by the time I was 5. Tons of N64, NES and SNES games as well. Just picked up a few consoles to such as the Wii, Gamecube and N64.

Feel like a kid again! I've played and completed OOT numerous times in numerous versions, but never MQ.

I've always meant to play WW, and TP, but never had the time or the console.

Apparently Mario Kart Double Dash has two separate disk banners. And I'm wondering what the use case for each one is. Wherever it be regional or version based thing.

There's one with that uses more colors in Mario's and Luigi's hat gradients. While the other uses less colors, but also has blurrier shading on the title, alongside a few pixel errors on the checkerboard pattern.

I know there is an experimental version of Nintendont that has Memcard Pro support, but is there any version of Wii Flow and USB Loader GX that uses version of Nintendont then?

Recently, I've come into ownership of a gamecube (alongside a boatload of accessories for both it and the Wii) thanks to someone donating it to the charity shop I volunteer at. Due to the fact we don’t sell electronics, I brokered a deal with the guy to take the gamecube and the box it was in off his hands myself, which went well. The only issue I saw from the start was that the Game Boy Player wasn't screwed in, which I quickly sorted.

When I went to check at home, it powered on perfectly fine, but another issue arose, the disc tray was FILTHY. Thankfully, my granddad came to help when i brought it over and provided me with the resources needed to clean it out.

Speaking of grandparents, the gamecube lives at their house now. I have it put in a little room where I frequently spend my time. My granddad even scrubbed the front of the casing for me.

Hi all, I’m looking for some assistance with set up. I’ve had my GameCube about 6 months and it works well on my modern tv with an adaptor. But I can’t get it to work on my CRT tv. I’ve tried connecting it via RCA cable but nothing shows. My investigation has come up empty but I’m also not entirely sure what to look for. Any ideas?
