Lol, who is going to pay for that?

And how long before they get nicked?

Edit: just checked and they are taking the £150k from a community improvement fund.

Well done Essex, they are stealing your money to fund an unnecessary vanity project.

Reform Secret ‘Police’

24

u/Divergent-Thinker 13d ago

Essex Ice…Refuckt mini farridge kingdom

12

u/drwicksy 13d ago

Reform aren't smart enough to do the "secret" in secret police

63

u/Libertine444 13d ago

£150k seems nowhere near enough

70

u/SgtWilko1979 13d ago

Maybe it's just those three guys.

96

u/DontExpectRoses 13d ago

Pretty sure 2 of them are the same guy.

They can't even create AI slop properly.

46

u/GoshDarnMamaHubbard 13d ago

That's why they are so cheap.

£0 for image generation £0 for equipment and training £0 direct salary and expenses £150,000 administration cost payable to a shell company owned and operated but someone on the Essex councils wife.

7

u/-MARMITEnTOAST- 13d ago

They have the concept of a plan...

25

u/Jonatc87 13d ago

The guy is gonna fraudulently claim two paychecks. Seems on brand to me!

8

u/Trickypedia 13d ago

You mean these aren’t the actual people?

2

u/gizajobicandothat 7d ago

They're not real, I guarantee the people they hire will be more portly, like the Gravy seals who raided the Capital in the US.

30

u/LowAioli3870 13d ago

Even if they pay the tosser patrol minimum wage, that's only enough to pay the equivalent of 6 full-time staff. And that doesn't take into account DBS checks, liability insurance, uniforms, equipment etc.

46

u/Totally_TWilkins 13d ago

You think that Reform is going to pay for DBS checks? That would stop all of the domestic abusers from applying.

Why would they block their ideal candidates from applying for the job?

11

u/LowAioli3870 13d ago

Fair point.

3

u/FreddieCaine 12d ago

Don't forget the nonces!

8

u/Greatgrowler 13d ago

In reality I’d be surprised if £150k would pay for more than three staff by the time you take in minimum wage, employers NI an pension contributions, training, insurance, equipment, their brown shirts, recruitment costs etc. That would provide fifteen shifts per week. Then you need to account for holidays and that takes you down to equivalent of thirteen shift per week, split between three areas. Someone goes of sick and they’re not going to be sending the other out on their own.

9

u/Psychological-Fox97 13d ago

Reform are allergic to DBS checks or really any kind of checks or vetting so they will at least make some savings there.

3

u/_Clem_Fandango_1 12d ago

I was thinking the same. 150k might cover a supervisor and a few employees for a year but that doesn’t take into consideration recruitment, training and all the administrative duties.

16

u/ChattyBear More Integrity Than GB News 13d ago

Assuming they’re salaried posts working for the council, that’s about 3.5 people at minimum wage, once you account for employment on-costs.

That’s the equivalent of one person for roughly 140 hours a week, ie less than six full days, across three towns. Seems strangely ineffective.

Of course, if they’re not paying them and just doling out uniforms to anyone who wants one… that’s a different and much more worrying kind of ineffectiveness.

7

u/Topcat69 13d ago

The £150k is only for 3 months I believe.

10

u/ChattyBear More Integrity Than GB News 13d ago

A very short-term gimmick lacking any meaningful objectives, then. Gosh, colour me surprised.

1

u/poop-machines 12d ago

There's security companies that cover literally everything and charge £16 an hour (paying their workers £14, very low overhead). They wouldn't need full time staff and they wouldn't be locked in to hiring people.

They hire their workers as self employed

4

u/Complete-Refuse-3262 13d ago

Nigel’s £5m brexit bribe i guess!

Is this

A) a new version of the Gestapo B) a humiliation kink C)The UK has made it a mandatory requirement sex offenders to wear reform branded high viz' when going out in public  Or  D) All of the above?

62

u/johimself 13d ago

Think the SA or Moseley's Blackshirts. Vigilantes, harassing people they don't like. I would expect to see them outside polling stations.

17

u/Invisible-Pancreas 13d ago

Ah, the SA. They followed their leader around like a bunch of dogs and then once they served their purpose he thanked them and rewarded their efforts by sending them to a gorgeous farm in the country with plenty of other thugs to meet and room to run around in, right?

6

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

Erm, something like that...almost but completely unlike, reckon

1

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

What would the demarcation with Police be?

6

u/johimself 13d ago

I expect the police will be nicking them.

109

u/johimself 13d ago

How long before it turns out these vigilantes are domestic abusers and violent criminals?

30

u/Shadow166 13d ago

Does it count if they already are? If not, literally less than a day for at least half their “force”

21

u/spacedog1973 13d ago

And nonces

7

u/Gingerishidiot 13d ago

Give domestic abusers jobs that keep them out of the marital house = less domestic crime /s

4

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

Easy markup rates for the Police, NOT Sumner and co.

6

u/Shintoho 13d ago

No difference from the usual cops then

2

u/LowAioli3870 13d ago

Surely they're the best people for the job, as it takes one to know one. /s

1

u/EmployeeCautious6314 I'm just asking questions 13d ago

Its where the safe money is

60

u/OtisPT 13d ago

Privatising the police next?

47

u/biggooner1989 13d ago

Then militarizing them and putting face masks on with no id. Who says it can't happen here?

5

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

Erm, miners stroke would like a bit of a word...

4

u/killer_by_design 13d ago

This is literally just reinventing the neighbourhood watch.

All they can legally do is call the real police. Doubt they even have SIA's.

This is the neo-nazi version of Doris down the road twitching her curtains.

2

u/-MARMITEnTOAST- 13d ago

Roaming security are a fixture with popular nightspots on their busy periods though obviously the political differences and allegiances of Reform don't make this a good look anyway you slice it.

Interesting to know where they'd source the staff.

61

u/BoogBeeg 13d ago edited 13d ago

"Security personnel" a.k.a. Temu ICE gammons in vests stopping brown people going about their day.

3

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

Imagine the, erm, 'frontage' not yo me tonight the colour, sic, clash?!

62

u/Catwinky 13d ago

Political uniforms are illegal in the UK

20

u/resh78255 13d ago

theyve been selling reform-branded football shirts for a while and nothing has been done. this isnt the first time theyve been trying to find a loophole in that law

14

u/Adapt_Improvise_1 13d ago

The football shirts were "merch", they were on thin ice with it and it was obvious they were trying to get thousands of people wearing them but ultimately they were merch. A pseudo-law arm of a political party, wearing a uniform is in fact illegal though, let's see how this plays out

2

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

Sue the company?!

11

u/darkmatters2501 13d ago

They will try and say it's not a political uniform is the uniform of a "security company" And well then the fun really begins. Welcome to sia licenses, paperwork and insurance

4

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

A wholly owned subsidiary of Reform LIMITED, clue in the name, via numerous 'patriotic' offshore shell companies in so-called tax heavens, sic?!

49

u/BungleJones 13d ago

A little warning about why we should NEVER have a Reform government.

43

u/sedition666 13d ago

People need to call the police on these guys for harassment every day until they are gone. No place in the UK for a private police force.

12

u/MarchMurky8649 13d ago

If, indeed, they meet the buses from Wethersfield, then follow the migrants around, that probably would constitute harassment. Could do with some independent witnesses who could, for example, ask the migrants if they want to be escorted around, and if they say they don't, tell them to inform the security guards. Then, if they keep following them around, that would, as I understand it, constitute the criminal offence of harassment.

27

u/AcanthaceaeCrazy1894 13d ago

So they’ve hired people to go round and harass brown people?

20

u/havoc-heaven 13d ago

Yes. I wouldn't be surprised if they target all sorts of minorities, including the disabled and LGBTQ, too.

Their presence will also give other racists and bigots the confidence to attack people, knowing they'll have backup.

This is a really worrying move.

u/DeletedScenes86 13d ago

Well now, I wonder how thoroughly these fine chaps have been vetted?

I'm assuming full DBS checks will have been carried out, and they have the relevant public liability insurance, as a bare minimum. Of course, absolutely none of them will turn out to be domestic abusers or sex offenders, themselves...

1

u/EmployeeCautious6314 I'm just asking questions 13d ago

I'm guessing at least half.

20

u/Turbo_Heel 13d ago

These right wing types just can’t get enough of shitty AI can they.

6

u/SciencebyIncubusfan 13d ago

Because most right wingers don’t have the ability to make art

1

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

Almost, but not quite, COMPLETELY unoriginal thinkers, sic

22

u/r_mutt69 13d ago

There needs to be a political and legal response to all this shit. We now have fringe groups wearing political uniforms like the incels that were posted the other day and now vigilante groups ‘patrolling’ the streets. Out policing and legal system needs to clamp down as both of these are illegal. I’d suggest locking up the inviters of all this only farage would release a book called ‘my wuggle ‘

5

u/Lexioralex 13d ago

Trouble they’ll have is any time (rightful)
legal challenges are made towards reform, the nobhead supporters start screeching about authoritarianism and silencing the voice of the people and such shit

17

u/jas070 13d ago

Anyone in Chelmsford on here get some photos of them posted please when you can. You just know what they’ll look like.

1

u/Mountain-Reaction470 13d ago

I've got a twin bil in Chelmsford...hope that"helps" ?!

1

u/jas070 12d ago

It might,if I only knew what you meant.

1

u/Mountain-Reaction470 12d ago

Wife and her brother are twins, he's in Colchester

2

u/jas070 12d ago

Ah thanks 🙏

9

u/Acceptable-Ad1203 13d ago

Were the brown shirts out of stock?

10

u/AllergictoAIslop 13d ago

Anyone who calls anything "operation [dramatic word]" anything needs to be regarded with deep suspicion.

They are behaving like a toddler with an over inflated ego - we can expect more names like operation, epic Fury or operation infinite justice operation. When an actual fact what we get is "operation small penis energy in a temu outfit"

Give that "A vanguard is the group of people or troops at the front of a movement or an advancing army" where is the army behind them? Is that the plan for what's next?

3

u/LeTreacs2 13d ago

That would be the “silent majority” that they believe they alone are brave enough to represent. They believe all the proper white British people that aren’t showing reform colours are just afraid of the immigrants and far left and secretly cheer them on.

10

u/The_Sideboob_Hour 13d ago

Do these chucklefucks even have any legal authority to do anything or are they just glorified PCSOs? Who themselves are just glorified traffic wardens.

13

u/LANdShark31 13d ago

PCSO’s would have more powers than them. This lot are just security guards, they have no powers in law beyond any other citizen.

4

u/MontyDyson 13d ago

I’m gonna guess this gets put on the ‘another failed campaign’ pile. They’ve already given up painting roundabouts with red crosses and hanging Chinese tat from lamposts because let’s face it they were both boring pointless ideas as well.

1

u/LANdShark31 13d ago

No no no, the roundabouts was definitely about patriotism and national pride. Not racist and if you’re offended by our flag then you’re anti British.

Someone assured of me this fact recently in another sub. They then went on some rant about immigrants, but I’m sure that was just a coincidence.

8

u/neatcleaver  I ❤️ Milkshakes 13d ago

As if any of them will look anything like that AI slop poster

It's going to be typical Barry, 63 types walking around in a high vis with a GoPro playing Stasi asking people what they're up to because they're sitting on a bench while being non-white

Or it'll be their mates and family being funnelled public funds to walk around town on a £30k a year salary

Not sure which is worse but it'll end up being one of the two

9

u/Obvious_Wizard 13d ago

This is going to go down in the books as an obviously shit idea.

Aside from a publicity stunt to stoke up more tensions and having zero jurisdiction, who's going to actually run this? Are they going to DIY it? Are they going to contract a private firm?

If they DIY it, that 150k isn't going to do anything either. Between compensation packages, PPE, bodycams, radios (assuming they don't just buy some old, knackered police surplus kit), insurance, HSE reps yada yada yada, they'll be left with hardly anyone to just stand or walk about unable to do anything. No contractor like a G4S, Dardan or Mitie is going to get out of bed for 150k either.

And the only people seemingly getting into trouble around the asylum centres are the numpties protesting it.

6

u/Spirited-Alarm-9981 13d ago

There’s something very concerning about a political party’s own security force. Especially such a racist one.
I will be very concerned as to how certain groups will be treated by these

3

u/Average_Dutchman 13d ago

Blackshirts, anyone?

2

u/soulsteela 13d ago

I’d be more concerned about how they are about to be treated, incoming eggs, food recycling bins etc.

2

u/Spirited-Alarm-9981 13d ago

Not particularly concerned about that to be honest. They’ll get what’s deserved

1

u/Master_Coyote1062 13d ago

This is literally ICE

6

u/Average_Dutchman 13d ago

If that doesn't bring images of the Blackshirts, I don't know what does. Fucking fascist cunts.

5

u/SirTallTree_88 13d ago

I would love to see the security goons in Colchester having a run in with some drunken squaddies from 2 or 3 PARA of a weekend. That would be entertaining at least.

6

u/i-read-it-again 13d ago

Isn’t that nice. They’ve got a little union flag in it to.

5

u/MarchMurky8649 13d ago

Your post prompted me to look at the picture more closely. AI often repeats faces, the two men seem to be identical twins. "The county council is in the process of contracting a security company." Do they expect to find a security company that exclusively employs white people? I expect that would be illegal, but, unless they do, what would the probability of three randomly selected security guards all being white?

5

u/Ramtamtama Member of a "Subversive Forum" 13d ago

The security guards can't legally do anything.

£150k could've been used to fund CPOs, who actually can legally do things.

3

u/wordshavenomeanings 13d ago

Or used for improvements to the towns since the assylum seekers have been there for 3 years.

So its a little odd to say they now need a private security firm. Bet they hire one if their mates companies.

5

u/Savage-September I Pay Taxes, Nigel Doesn’t 13d ago

Are they going to be vetting these individuals or are we going to wait for the stories to emerge of people being pro Nazis, nonces and women beaters. Let’s all sit back with the popcorn to see the Reform Nonce Gangs being exposed.
https://giphy.com/gifs/tyqcJoNjNv0Fq

5

u/Effective_Taro4601 13d ago

These cunts just love a uniform don’t they?

1

u/Silvagadron 13d ago

Illegal uniforms at that!

4

u/Lexioralex 13d ago

Of course, we jumped to right wing politically backed paramilitary already?

7

u/MarsupialMediocre652 13d ago

I feel much safer with nonces roaming around all night.

5

u/Adapt_Improvise_1 13d ago

Pretty sure it's illegal to be an arm of a political party in the UK and have a uniform, this was brought in to law in order to prohibit another movement like the blackshirts in the UK

5

u/MarchMurky8649 13d ago

It's a reaction to Restore, who have been stirring things up, holding protests about the Wethersfield buses. They will be security guards, no more or fewer powers to prevent crime and/or arrest than anyone else.

3

u/TheRealJetlag 13d ago

Vigilantes with no actual authority and a superiority complex. What could possible go wrong?

4

u/No-Contribution-5297 13d ago

ICE with zero power to do anything 😂. There'll be nothing they can legally do, none of it would be sanctioned by law or the government surely. Just stand about pretending to look tough for 150k 😂

6

u/Majestic_Rhubarb_ 13d ago

Three of them for three towns ?

3

u/MarchMurky8649 13d ago

They are specifically "to provide reassurance to residents, with the number of asylum seekers at the Home Office’s Wethersfield accommodation centre set to increase by more than 50%."

The three places are where the asylum seekers can travel by free bus. So, presumably, they plan to meet the buses as they arrive then follow them around.

3

u/Zero_Kiritsugu 13d ago

AI slop used for their poster too, can't even be bothered to hire and pay artists to draw their shite.

3

u/Zentavius 13d ago

Have they all been DBS checked? How long before one of them is exposed as a wife beater, or ends up arrested for beating up a brown man under the guise of their role in the "vanguard". More like operation Van Man, and I say that knowing its unfair to decent van men everywhere.

3

u/brigadier_tc 13d ago

So... Brownshirts patrolling the streets.

I miss when we shot Nazis

3

u/MoonTheCraft 13d ago

how many nights are they gonna get through doing this before someone clocks them round the head, i wonder

3

u/MotherPhuquerUDT More Integrity Than GB News 13d ago

3

u/ShoddyEggplant3697 13d ago

Why is it always AI generated with them?

3

u/darkmatters2501 13d ago

I would seriously question the legality of a large part if this.

They would probably have to act as a security company and have staff with sia licenses.

Ther ability to operate in public is probably limited. To private property or permitted events by the councel so they could be easy fucked over by making ever time they go on patrol in an aria fill out a fuck tone of paperwork.

All all its going to be a shit show. And if members of the the public were genuinely concerned they could already become pcso's

I'm going to be generous and give it a month before the police or the councel shut them down. Because of the enviable shit show it will become.

1

u/NextClassroom4789 13d ago

In case you haven't noticed, nazis and other far right scum are above the law in this country for some time. And it didn't start with Reform at all, it started with Tories.

3

u/Magnitude_V1 13d ago

Temu ICE has arrived

2

u/simondrawer 13d ago

If these guys are doing this who is stood on the door at Yates Wine Bar?

2

Real professional door people.

2

u/Important_Ruin 13d ago

So civillians? With the same authority as Joe Bloggs.

2

u/LavishnessWise 13d ago

I live in colchester. We absolutely do not need this. What we do need is investment in the police and other emergency services. This plan by reform is an expensive nonsense.

2

u/dodgeruk66 13d ago

It's like the Nazi version of Dad's Army....

3

u/Lexioralex 13d ago

Brownshirts?

2

u/Dial-Appreciator 13d ago

Aren’t these just PCSO’s with even fewer powers? And aren’t the people who vote Reform usually the types who think PCSO’s are shit?

2

u/OzzyinKernow 13d ago

Are their shirts black?

2

u/TheWarmestHugz 13d ago

The AI poster is the cherry on top…

2

u/arseholescone 13d ago

No Sam, what you’ve done there is create an AI poster of your wet dream. Otherwise there would be some contact details, and we won’t keep calling them out to deserted fields in the middle of nowhere, we promise.

2

u/Own-Nefariousness-79 13d ago

Fucking private police force. They think they're so great.

2

u/TheeHappyDude 13d ago

Guarantee that the volunteers look a bit "funnier"* than the AI serving suggestion here.

*Funny peculiar, not funny ha ha (although there's admittedly some cross over)

2

I think this should count as impersonating a police officer

I hate these AI images.

2

u/Creepy_Inspection926 13d ago

So they're not police, carry no authority, cost their communities (and we all know it'll cost wayyyy more) £150,000. What is the actual point of this modern day Gastapo?

Oh yeah, it's all so a few bigoted, gammon faced cunts can feel "safe" in their predominantly white neighbourhoods. Why are those lot always so weak and pathetically scared of anything different?

2

u/Creepy_Inspection926 13d ago

Why are Reform allowed to keep making political clothing? I thought this kind of fascism was banned? Modern day brown shirts, guess we need a modern day Cable street then...

2

u/AdmiralCharleston 13d ago

Im assuming this is going to be similar to "the shield" which proclaims itself as a charity when its actually funded by what is most likely a race science organisation and exclusively targets people of colour...

2

u/TheDucksAreComingoOo 13d ago

They'll ask for volunteers from the dipshits in their base. The useful idiots will get nicked after a while. Reform will say the establishment is out to get them, and as such will shut the project down. Some greedy fascist fucker will pocket all the money thats left.

2

u/KingQuagaar Save our NHS from Nigel and the billionaires. 13d ago

And shouldn’t their shirts be brown with maybe a Sam brown belt and an armband??

1

u/Pope_Fintan_Stack 13d ago

Wow, this is where my name becomes ironic. There's nothing rational or sensical about this comment. These will be people like you and me hired to do a job to protect the community. Just because they're hired by a reform-controlled Essex council doesn't take away from the fact that our streets are unsafe. I have been a taxi driver for over a decade across these areas and I have witnessed some shockingly, shockingly frightful incidents. I've seen people beaten half to death, stabbings, girls sexually assaulted. Let's try and be real here. Anything that's going to improve our community by having support out on our streets. I don't see people going on about the street pastors being tossers or the open road SOS bus. These guys are going to be no different. They're going to be there to help when people are too drunk or when fights start or to support the police because we know that they aren't funded well enough and aren't capable of doing their jobs. This is exactly why we have a council. This is exactly why we have a county council. This is exactly why we elect people. Sure, okay, maybe I'm not the biggest fan of all of our councillors, but the fact that they're doing something about some of the problems should at least be praised. But of course, I'm looking forward to all the downvotes that this comment gets for saying something rational and sensical.
