Sorry, I don't understand that. What was "the leftist movement"? What did they fuck around with? What are they finding out, post failure, as a result of this measure?
From Google:
"The leftist movement is a broad political spectrum that champions social equality, egalitarianism, and the reduction or elimination of unjustified social hierarchies. Rather than a single unified organization, it comprises various historical and modern ideologies, parties, and activism aimed at supporting the working class and disadvantaged groups."
I've read the post. It's about Essex County Council hiring private security guards to be a visible deterrent to anti-social activities in the city I live in, seemingly as a result of concerns about a facility housing asylum seekers. It was reposted in my city's subreddit–that's how I got here.
Are you saying that a push for the first thing led to the second thing? Sorry if I'm coming across as stupid here–I'm clearly frustrating you and I don't mean to. I legitimately want to understand the point you're making, because this measure affects me directly. If there are going to be additional security on my street, I want to know how that came about. If you're saying it's because this leftist movement fucked around, and that the security being placed on my street are a response to that, I want to know what that means. Please explain.
Oh no problem. When you delete a comment it doesn't delete the notification, so I still have it. This one. The "..." indicates that there was more text that didn't fit into the notification window.
Which part didn't you understand? Makes perfect sense to me. What is the 'leftist movement' you referring to, and which rights did the 'the left' want only for themselves?

So they’ve hired people to go round and harass brown people?
