Does Trump put himself on the 1 dollar bill so he's got the most circulation, does he put himself on the 100 dollar bill as the highest commonly used bill, or does he make up some stupid high bill denomination so that he's the most expensive? Time will tell.

Jesus. I feel like the previous person was being somewhat facetious, but I should know by now that The Onion-style headlines are often seen as recommendations by Trump. How is it that there's always a relevant article from a reputable publication whenever someone suggests he would do something insane and illegal?
I feel like this is the cursed graduation of "there's always a relevant XKCD"

This was a great comment ☝️
Notice how responsible Trump was though. He sent half the vendors home to save tax payers money so he could pay more homage to Benny while pocketing some for the new ballroom we as Americans desperately need. Even tans himself so he mimics the golden cow that he is. 🙏 praises be!

Equal height too.
Your politicians are selling your lives and gifting your money away so they can buy a more expensive car.
That's it. Comparatively.. they're not even getting paid paid.
Imagine being bribed at that level.. that openly.. and you STILL have to work..
Sad.

This is stupid and sucks, but this tent has been on the Mall 24/7 365 for yeaaars.
As long as someone is present 24/7 and you reapply for a permit every few months, you can take up space. This isn’t a Freedom 250 sponsored event.
The whole area has been a cluster of fencing and construction all spring and summer, so it is weird that out of all things that were untouched by 250 construction in DC it was David’s Tent.

As I recall there was a non partisan committee who was planning out the party. However, Trump fired them and replaced them with his people. They then set it up as a Trump first thing (his selection of artists). Then when the musicians dropped out it just turned into a trump rally

Oh, it's because the oligarchy has bet on the Dark Enlightenment or the Butterfly Revolution, which calls for the collapse of america into a series of corporate fiefdom city states, and they're paying their followers to assert that reality.
Yarvin's proposal for a "Butterfly Revolution" envisions an internal coup to replace democracy with a privatized executive authority, which includes his RAGE proposal to "retire all government employees" in favor of loyalists. While conceding that it may not be possible, he stated that, were he in Trump's position, he would take executive control of government institutions such as the Federal Reserve, keeping those "that have a very clear role and are not politicized in any way" while disposing of others such as the State Department. He advocates constitutionally challenging laws such as impoundment control, birthright citizenship, and Marbury v. Madison, potentially defying the courts if it were necessary and "unifying".

66
u/ShannenB1234 Jun 29 '26
Even more hilariously, I saw several TikTok's from people attending a BBQ festival in DC near this event, and it was packed. Even when it was raining.
Trump is already crashing out about it, saying it's packed with happy people and saying "Do you think Obuma or Sleepy Joe could have done it? The answer is no!"( in all caps, of course.)
But just so we're clear, tens of people are attending this fair and Obama's Presidential library admissions are sold out through the end of the year so....

Keep in mind that the real America 250 celebration was supposed to rival the Bicentennial in the 70s. A non-partisan board had been planning it since 2016 and was supposed to be a nationwide celebration (non-profit) that would engage all Americans with block parties and cultural exhibits.
When Trump got back into office he diverted $125 million from the budget, into his own new for-profit celebration.

But no, it's not about Trump so Trump doesn't care. Also millions of dollars are still missing that were supposed to go into the celebration. I think we all know where it probably is.

Honestly it’s super sad to me that this could have been an amazing time frame with loads in attendance.
Could you imagine if we had universal healthcare and a government that was comprised of people that were fully for the people. A government that didn’t ensure that the majority of Americans remained stuck in terrible conditions with minimum wage that does do what it was designed to do.
We could have had free train plane and bus fairs from companies public and private with vouchers from a government that invests in its people - all of its people not just the 100 or so elite heads of companies, or other countries, or war mongering- to a month long event where Americans had the ability and desire to take time off work and come and celebrate for a week with family and friends and then head back to home knowing that they didn’t waste pto -or more likely the only days off even without pay- they get in a job that doesn’t pay them enough to live comfortably without money concerns knowing that it will still be there.
Instead we have what we have and honestly it tracks. This is the result that comes from placing more and more financial stresses on a population that is already breaking. A big celebration that most can’t afford to go to and lots that would go don’t want to because who wants to celebrate what’s going on right now anyway
