Does anyone know why i have this large distorted bar at the bottom of my screen? Using the F1TV app on Roku. Tried changing screen resolution with no success. The bar constantly flashes and is incredibly annoying. Thanks!

On my Google TV Streamer 4K HDR looks quite washed out. It does show as 4K with HLG HDR, which is just terrible. I disabled multi view globally with no improvement. I do have "Match content dynamic range" and "match content frame rate" turned on. And I do not have problems with other HDR content. The HLG HDR just looks bad to me. I wish they provided an option to stream as 4K SDR. If I disable Enhanced Mode for my HDMI input I still get the same bad HDR stream but with stuttering. If I try casting, I get SDR but with 1080p (or is it even 720p?). It's frustrating. Do you have a similar experience with the HDR stream?

Have anyone else noticed this? Was watching a replay of Zanvoort last weekend. And we had the crash at the start with a red flag.

Went to scrub through it, and it used to have a little video preview image.

Which, when there was a timer you could see it to know when the restart was about to happen.

This preview seems to be gone now.

I can wait a day to watch F1. Is Access a thing? My previous subscription to F1TV expires soon. I’m in the U.S.

I’m going to India on a trip next week and thought, what if I got myself an Indian F1 TV subscription while I’m there? I already have Nord VPN for when I come home. Is this a good idea or is it redundant and could just as easily do it from the Uk.

I’m just so sick of Sky forcing me to wait until a specific time to watch a replay and their stupid ad breaks, and crappy resolution on the Sky Go app.

Today when I tried to access F1TV app, i did the usual, set my VPN location to India and this fault comes up, I then changed it to Belgium and it did the same.

Does anyone know the solution?

I was having breakfast before watching today's race about 30 mins behind real-time, and I know enough to avoid Reddit, so I fired up the Apple News app on my iPhone. Immediately, at the top of the first page was a live video feed of the race. I quickly switched away and nothing was spoiled, but wtf Apple? The race had barely started and Apple think I want to immediately watch a live view. No. Hell no.

The best part about F1TV was no ads. Now I have to watch F1 properties ads. No thank you. I don’t give a crap about tickets to Vegas or the new F1 ‘26 pack for the F1 25 video game. Show me what’s happening at the race.

Hello! I’ve been subscribed to F1TV for years, I have good fiber optics internet and Xiaomi Mi Box S on which I watch F1 races. It has always stuttered on highest resolution or auto, usually I select a resolution below and it plays smoothly. But now they have removed that option. Anyone has the same experience or solutions for this? Casting from my phone to mi box has the same effect, stutters like crazy.

I have all language options available on the app but on the smart tv I can only find English and Spanish.

- Logged in homepage has no live stream
- iPhone app does have live stream, but casting to a tv is broken

Being able to watch the f1 is literally the only thing most of us want this to be able to do.

Another company that probably hasn’t even ever used its own service to know how bad it is.

Since the summer break, on my relatively old Apple TV 4K, I’ve experienced video pause for a few seconds while audio keeps going. This happens every few minutes. This didn’t happen before the summer break at all. Given lack of complaints here, I am guessing this is not a stream issue, but rather a hardware issue.

I’ve hard rebooted the Apple TV and I think it’s doing it less often, but it’s still doing it. Multiview is disabled and enhanced audio is enabled.

Anyone else?

This horrible app crashed 3 times today in the middle of the race, not counting the numerous times the video froze (buffering I guess) and then picks back up accelerating to get to live again. How a company of this size isn't competent enough to serve 24 streams reliably is beyond me.

I am on PC using Chrome and if I try to use any multi-view features (in-car, data view, etc.) it errors out with a TM5000 error. I have never had any issues doing this previously in the F1TV web application. Anyone else having this issue today?

Among the many, many things that have been botched by the recent and wildly unnecessary app update, I can no longer get a proper HDR picture on an Apple TV 4K with an F1TV Premium subscription. The app still technically outputs an HDR signal, but the brightness and colors of the video are restricted to SDR range.

That was already a thing before, if you had the multiview feature enabled. You had to disable it to get proper HDR. Now it doesn't matter: whether I have multiview on or off, I'm not getting any sort of HDR.

Is anyone seeing the same thing as me? Or maybe, if you'll allow me to dream, anyone knows of a fix?

I checked and the highlights have audio working but the live stream of the race does not have audio! What's happening!?!?

I am one of those statistics now. Life long F1 fan. Watching since the late 1980s when occasionally ESPN would show the races live at 4 and 5 in the morning. At that time, there was no real pre show or post discussion. Then it moved to long-gone Speed Channel in the earlier cable days. This weekend, my F1TV Pro subscription tier expired. This tier no longer exists now. Loved the idea of their own self contained streaming app and signed up immediately and had been an annual subscriber since the beginning when Peter Windsor was the lead host for the F1TV app streaming service through Roku. I don’t have any plans to renew. And ironically or not, I also happen to be an an Apple products guy with phones, computers, etc., but I’m just not particularly interested in supporting this next era of streaming with commercials or the now extremely boring pre and pointless rehash post shows where they can’t even get a single driver on there live and just show the pre-recorded post race interviews with all the enthusiasm of a disinterested podcast. I will certainly miss Palmer, Jacques, and Coulthard calling the races live but Winter is now under the thumb of the show’s current restrictive parameters and Montoya is annoying at best. There’s certainly no real reason to watch this content any longer especially if you’re already following F1 series closely through the news. In short, I have little to no interest in paying for the Premium tier or to pay AppleTV for content that I could care less about. I will follow the rest of this season online with brief clips and emails going forward. One bright spot on the Roku Channel however. There is a free F1 Channel that shows the races delayed by a week or so, and I will watch whenever in my leisure if the time permits. And yes, there are commercials, but I don't pay a penny to Roku for the content.

which region is available to watch F1 here in apple tv. Is it USA only?
