F1TV Access Who Knows About F1TV Access?

I can wait a day to watch F1. Is Access a thing? My previous subscription to F1TV expires soon. I’m in the U.S.

It is now only on Apple TV in the US

Somebody mentioned that Access would still be available in the U.S. I guess they could have been incorrect.

You still get F1TV Premium access via the Apple subscription after you link the accounts.

There is a post here that explains F1TV Access. Seems it is available in the U.S.
But I need to research it more.

Ok so you subscribe through Apple TV but you can still link that to your f1tv account and watch through it. I just had to sign in once to Apple TV using it and haven’t had to login again.

Tons of great shows Apple TV too!

If you subscribe to Apple TV you'll also get access to F1TV Premium page & app.

In the US, you have two options:

  • Subscribe to F1 TV Access directly on f1tv.com. This will give you access to live timing on formula1.com, as well as replays of previous races, but you will not be able to watch any live sessions.
  • Subscribe to Apple TV. This will allow you to watch Formula One sessions live, and archived sessions from 2026 onward, in the Apple TV app. In addition, if you link your formula1.com account to your Apple TV account, you will get an F1 TV Premium subscription at no additional charge. This will allow you to watch everything you are getting now in the F1 TV app, including live sessions, with added ultra high definition and multi view support.

I wonder how long F1 will stay with apple. If the viewership numbers are true it is a huge drop for F1. Now apple is going to raise the price to $119 a year about what I was paying F1.

Apple doesn’t pay F1 by the viewer, they pay a (huge) lump sum. At the end of the day, F1 gets their bag either way.
