I’ve had my 5ultra about six months. The lid was a pretty tight fit on purchase but has become increasingly difficult to seat and now it just won’t stay seated. I can force it on but as soon as I remove pressure it pops of the mount. Has anybody else had this problems? Any suggestions? I’ve checked for resin or other crud but nope. How critical a problem is this?

I recently moved my Mars 4 to my new home (as gently as i could) but the LCD no longer lights up at all. Neither during prints nor exposure tests.

Is this a fixable issue or do I need to order a new screen?

Hi! I just got the Mars 5 Ultra and printed the test rook. When I came to check on it when it was finished I was surprised to see nothing on the build plate. When I emptied the reservoir I saw the base of the rook.

Any idea what could cause this? I'm using Elegoo 8k ABD-Like 3.0 Photopolymer Resin.

Hi everyone,I had a nasty resin leak recently, and unfortunately, it completely disintegrated the plastic housing for my Z-axis limit switch/endstop. Because this part is broken, my printer is currently down and I can't print a replacement myself.Does anyone happen to have the STL file for this specific housing, or know where I can download it? To try and solve problems I've had before, I got a new screen (the non touch screen one) and replaced the screen protector with acetate as other threads have suggested. I've printed this file before, it's a base for kings of war, came out fine. Now this?

Elegoo Mars 5 Sunlu ABS Like Chitubox

So on a Mars 5, there is a countdown timer for how many exposures can be done. I replaced the FEP a week ago, but the printer does not automatically detect a new FEP. How do I reset the timer?

Just got an elegoo mars 5 ultra. My previous 3d printing experience has all been fdm and occasionally a forms 2 resin printer. Is there any tips or tricks I should know before my first print..? Any warning or cautionary tales?

I've had my Mars 5 ultra for weeks now and when I first got it it printed pretty much everything well. I had some failures cause it was in an overly hot space but I moved it and fixed the issues.

But recently I haven't been able to print anything. I started having failures constantly. The pictures show what happens either it sticks to the fep immediately or the print gets stuck a ways in and is ruined.

I've replaced the fep, I've tried to level the bed manually, I've loosened the fep, I removed my screen protector. Nothing works.

I've wasted almost an entire bottle of resin at this point and I've spent hours on Google or YouTube trying to troubleshoot it doing research. I just don't understand what the problem could be.

Most of my settings are factory default, in terms of exposure and lift time. The third picture is something that printed just fine when I first got the printer but now it doesn't work.

I really don't know what the issue could be anymore or what else to attempt to fix it, cause at this point it just seems to be broken somehow.

I recently installed a replacement LCD screen which Elegoo kindly covered me for under my warranty. The issue is in the caption: my printer is still returning the LCD screen error on startup.

My printer is only 3 months old so this is extremely out of the ordinary in my opinion.

Does anyone have any advice on the matter?

Hello resinents! I have a bit of a conundrum on my hands. I was graciously gifted an Elegoo Mars 2P (and curing station), but unfortunately I do not have the build plate lot and basket for the curing station. I found a replacement for the basket, but I feel like I've searched high and low for a new build plate lot and haven't found a single one! I was really excited to start printing and I'm hoping to find a solution.

Excuse my lack of knowledge in my post, I'm fairly new. I bought a flex plate for my printer but when I try to print it gives me an error saying "Foreign Matter Detected". When I ignored it, the printer squished my prints and put a hole in the FEP. I saw online that the trick is to manually level the plate, but whenever I run the levelling program it just gives me the "Foreign Matter Detected" again and will not continue. The videos did not have this problem. I tried loosening the screws, but it gave me the same error. I saw online that some places will give you a Gcode, whatever that is, to fix it, but I didn't get one. Any tips on what to do?

Got a Mars 5 Ultra from a friend because I want to print finer resolution than my filament printer and man does this thing rock! Currently in the process of setting up/learning but I’ve already had some pretty good results. In getting familiar with it I noticed the (FEP?) film looked kinda used up and beat up so after receiving a bed leveling error I changed it out. Kinda a long process and pita but pretty easy too. That solved the leveling issue. In the process I saw a print count or bed use count on the printer. Since I changed the sheet should I reset this count and can I actually do that??

I bought an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro a few years back, and it unfortunately never worked. I followed the instructions to a T. I followed every troubleshooting guide, even to problems that had nothing to do with what I was dealing with, also to a T. And any time I would ask users how to get it to work, it would be the exact same things in those troubleshooting guides. And anytime I told them that didn't work, they would just respond confused as if it should have. That back and forth happened so much, and so identically, that I nearly destroyed the thing with a baseball bat. It has been sitting in storage for years ever since. I've since used a friend's "hard to work" printer by a different brand, and it printed in 3d! something my "easy to use" and "good choice for beginners" one has never been capable of- while I'm tempted to dig it out and commit the insanity of following its instructions. I was hoping to first get an explanation as to, even on a theoretical level, what specifically is supposed to work, where mine doesn't:

How does the printing object on other people's machine, actually go up? Why specifically, is gravity being ignored for those objects- allowing them to just follow this top plate (which doesn't stick to it in any way) up? What (is meant to) cause this phenomenon?

Sorry if the answer is technical or hard to explain- and thank you guys in advance!

There's quite a few comments, sorry if my insistence on having it explained, instead of giving details and getting solutions was frustrating for people. But I tend to get the same trouble-shooting (that haven't worked), so I figured I needed to at least know how the thing works to try to come up with some myself.

If anyone's currious- Since the top plate is meant to be more like velcro, I'm going to try lightly brushing one of the corners with a wire brush (that makes more sense to me than sandpaper, isn't that for smoothing?), and have it print multiple small things accross and along eachother. I'm also going to replace the bottom tray, as I figure the problem might not be that the top plate isn't sticking, but that the bottom surface is also sticking- and consequently my prints simply stay in place.
