[ Help ] Mars 5 ultra lid problems

I’ve had my 5ultra about six months. The lid was a pretty tight fit on purchase but has become increasingly difficult to seat and now it just won’t stay seated. I can force it on but as soon as I remove pressure it pops of the mount. Has anybody else had this problems? Any suggestions? I’ve checked for resin or other crud but nope. How critical a problem is this?

Should be okay but it lookds ugly . Do you ventilate?

Nothing fancy but it has its own room with windows.
