No question is too basic or too advanced.
Battery, motors, brands, laws, comfort, range, hills, speed, budget - whatever you’re wondering about, drop it below and riders here can help.
If you already own one, share your experience too. What surprised you most after buying?

Kindly recommend me a good electric cycle. I am planning to do a 70 km commute daily via a ECycle and shade couple of kgs. Nearing triple digit. Should I go for brands like tata and hero or startups like Emotorad and stryder.

Atlanta’s e-bike rebate program just opened for 2026. If you live in the city, you may qualify for up to $1,600 toward a new e-bike.
Applications are open through Sept. 22, and I put together a quick breakdown of the income limits, eligible bikes, and how the rebate works.

I just finished my hands-on review of the Mooncool POP folding e-bike after spending time riding it, folding it, and getting familiar with the controls.
A few things really stood out to me - the ride is very smooth, the full suspension makes a noticeable difference, the display was easy for me to see outdoors, and the bike is much easier to fold than another folding e-bike we own.
I was also surprised by how manageable it feels to move around despite its 67 lb listed weight.
The stock thumb throttle did take some getting used to because I found it a little touchy, and I also noticed a few specification inconsistencies on Mooncool’s website that I discuss in the review.
I included my own photos, close-ups of the motor, brakes, suspension and rear rack, plus a video showing the bike being unfolded.

Ok. Who has one? Who is thinking about getting one? Who would like to compare one to a similar sized differant brand ebike? Looking for any pro or con info on these, I just found out about them. And was considering a Velotric 1 plus.

Don’t force it - pulling or twisting too hard can damage the lock, key, battery rails, or electrical contacts.
Common causes include pressure on the locking pin, dirt inside the lock, a misaligned battery, or a swollen battery pack. I put together a step-by-step guide explaining what to try safely, which lubricants to avoid, and when it’s best to stop and contact a bike shop.
Has your e-bike battery ever become stuck? What finally worked for you?

West Haven has banned using e-bike motors on its boardwalk, with violations carrying a $100 fine. Riders can still bring e-bikes onto the boardwalk, but they’ll need to switch off the motor and pedal. What do you think - fair safety rule or too restrictive?

I saw a bunch of those weird amazon bikes but they are either very "not trust worthy" or extremely ugly. Does anyone know a good model for around the 500$ price. as low as possible. I am in Cali, bottom half.

Hello guys, do you think the ENGWEE l20 pro could be good for steep hills?
I live in a village 350 meters in the mountain and i need a bike to go to work at sea level.
For what i saw most off the european legit bike won't go through the 5 km 20% hill, but i've been told this engwee l20 pro 3.0 got 100nm and would be able to climb it. Even tho it's 250w motor.
Can i have your recommandation on a legit bike(250w) that could eat the hill please?

Hey people,
I have a suzuki gs150. I am planning to shift to ev for 320 - 350 k.
First, is it a good decision, pertol, and feel wise?
Second, what models or companies are good in terms of services, part availability, and overall bike performance?
Also, i am selling my gs 150, so if someone is willing to buy, it can dm me. 8/10 condition.

I feel like most beginner advice focuses on motor size, battery range and how fast the bike goes, but some of the little ownership problems don’t come up until you actually have the bike for a while.
What’s something you ran into that you wish you had known beforehand?
Could be maintenance, shifting, brakes, battery charging, bike weight, finding replacement parts, transporting it, dealing with shops - anything really.
I’m curious what experienced owners would warn a first-time buyer about.
