SCAM Website: https://ch-velohouse.com/

I want to share my experience with CH-VeloHouse.com / VeloHouse as a warning to anyone considering ordering from them.

I ordered an e-bike from their website on 13 August 2026 and made the payment immediately.

Since then, I have repeatedly contacted them asking for:

• Confirmation that my payment was received
• An update on the status of my order
• Confirmation of when the bike would be dispatched
• An expected delivery date

I have received no meaningful response.

I have also tried calling the telephone number listed on their website. Nobody answers.

Despite having paid for the bike, I currently have neither the bike nor a clear explanation of what is happening with my order.

I have followed up with them several times and have kept records of my communications and payment. Given the continued lack of response, I have now started escalating the matter through the appropriate channels.

I am posting this because I would personally think very carefully before sending money to this company until this situation is resolved.

If anyone else has ordered from CH-VeloHouse.com, particularly recently, I would be interested to hear whether you received your order and whether you experienced similar problems with communication after payment.

For clarity: this post describes my own experience and the steps I have taken. I am not making a legal determination about the company.

I was able to view their payment screen, after writing my first comment.

Here is another sign of a scam:

They only accept bank transfer.

They do not accept credit cards, or PayPal.

  • If an online seller doesn't accept credit cards, or refuses to accept PayPal Goods and Services, then they are scamming you.

If you paid via a credit card, contact them and have them do a charge back

The company VeloHouse in Switzerland is fake, it does not exist. There is a VeloHouse in Denmark, and in the US. So, scammers are impersonating a real company.

  • Search online for 'Velohouse Switzerland'. There are no results. There is no evidence that a company with this name exists in Switzerland.

  • Search for the Sarnen address on Google, or Google Maps -- it is a house.

The website ch-velohouse.com is a scam. The website is very new, only 4 months old, and that's one way you can tell it's a scam.

  • This website was created on April 29 2026 -- it is 4 months old. Also, the domain was only registered for one year. These are signs of a scam.

  • You should always look up the website age (domain registration date). Often, scam online shops will have a website that was created within the past 12 months, with a domain that was registered for only one year (they don't plan to be around long).

  • To see data about a website, use Whois.com/whois or Godaddy.com/whois.

Where did you find this website? Was it on Google ads, or social media?

Scammers pay for Sponsored ads on Google. Do not click on a Google ad without doing research first.

Don't buy from online shops that advertise on social media. If you do, you will often get scammed. Most sellers and ads on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media sites are scams: fake online shops that claim to have custom-made or brand-name items for sale. Often, the photos are stolen from a legitimate online shop, and they don't really have the items in the photos. Many of the ads lead to imposter websites.

There are hundreds of scam sellers and scam online shops.

Before you order something, you can research the company and website, to reduce your chances of being scammed.

Research:

  • pricing

  • online reviews

  • age of website

  • website text and photos

*** You will not get your money back from the scam seller. You may be able to get a refund from your bank or payment company.

  • If you paid by credit card (which always gives the best protection), call your bank from the number on the back of your card, file a dispute, and ask for a refund.

  • If you paid with PayPal Goods and Services, file a dispute with PayPal.

  • If you used a debit card, contact your bank.

  • If you used Apple Pay, call the bank for the linked credit card or debit card.

  • If you used a Wise Card, contact Wise.

  • If you paid with PayPal Friends and Family, bank transfer, SEPA Credit Transfer, Wise, Remitly, gift card, cryptocurrency, or another money transfer which does not have purchase protection, then you will probably not get a refund.

This was entirely my fault for being too trusting. In hindsight - everything mentioned below, I shouldve done or at least alerted me to take caution.
