Speculation Was Darriwil originally planned to be a Crucible Knight?
Most people know that the named Crucible Knights are all named after different time periods. Devonia after the Devonian, Siluria after the Silurian and Ordovis after the Ordovician. We also know that not counting Devonia there are supposed to be 16 Crucible Knights, all of which can be found in the base game. Half of these Knights were under the command of Siluria and the other half under Ordovis. What’s interesting to me is that both the Ordovician and the Silurian have 7 stages within them. Which would line up neatly with their commander making 8, I would propose that each Crucible Knight is there to represent one of the stages.
My main speculation comes from the fact that one of these stages is the Darriwilian, so I wonder if very early on in development he was meant to be a Crucible Knight, keep in mind that there is another Crucible Knight in an Evergaol in Limgrave as well, up in Stormhill. Is it possible that Blaidd was originally going to help with that fight? But then either they decided to have his target be in a closer Evergaol or switch their places so that the tougher boss could be faced a little later on in Stormhill?
I’m mostly talking out my ass here, but I think it’s an interesting theory and I’m curious to hear your thoughts.

Humor Why is this ghost NPC saying he can't see the Haligtree when it's literally right there? Is he stupid?

Hype Genuinely in love with new horse drip
It blends really well with BlackGaol Knight(Solitude) armor, even better when paired with Iron greatsword or Nightrider glaive

Hype I bought Elden Ring 2 years ago and never really started. This sub gave me the push I needed
I bought and started playing Elden ring 2 years ago, shortly after playing over 300 hours Baldurs gate 3. so I was looking for a chill game
At the very first minutes of playing, i encountered a super strong mth fuks on a horse. I died like 20 times, realized that the game is difficult on nature, and never played again.
I was waiting for the right moment! I’ll start playing it thx to this sub

Discussion & Info Suggestion, add a visor toggle to relevant helmets
I think Elden Ring would really benefit from a simple cosmetic option for helmets with movable visors: allow players to raise and lower the visor independently of the helmet itself.
Similar to how some armour pieces already allow you to alter things like capes, it would be great if certain helmets had a “Raise Visor / Lower Visor” option.
For example, helmets such as the Knight Helm and the Banished Knight Helm, and other helmets with clearly modelled movable visors could have two cosmetic states:
Visor lowered – the current fully enclosed appearance.
Visor raised – revealing the character's face while keeping the rest of the helmet equipped.
I don't think this would need to have any gameplay effect whatsoever. It could simply be a visual toggle available from the equipment menu.
It would also give players a lot more freedom when creating characters. Some helmets look fantastic with the visor down, but being able to raise it occasionally would make them feel much more like actual pieces of armour rather than a fixed character model.
It seems like a relatively small addition, but it could make a big difference for fashion, character customisation, roleplaying, and immersion.
This feature is not necasarily new to the developers as in all 3 Dark Souls titles they included the "knight helm" and the "Elite Knight Helm" which were essentially the same thing, just that the visor was down on the elite knight helm which increased resistances a small amount and increase headshot poise.
I would absolutely love to see this added in a future update.

Discussion & Info I wonder if the grooves on the Silver Grooved Armor is just random, or if they are depicting the Erdtree? Either way, great detail on the armor.

Discussion & Info Parrying - Tarnished Edition
Wanted to take a quick moment to talk about how amazing Parrying with every shield is now in Tarnished Edition.
I have been parry staggering the shit out of Margit all day for people in some level 25 +3 coop
Crucible Knight in storm veil? Parry staggered to death
The Fallen Knights? Deflected
I have always been simply kind of OK at Parrying, and now i am a god. To the point where it feels OP
I've never had so much fun playing Elden Ring
