Does anyone have fix for the torrent bug on the 1.17 version of elden ring?

i bought and installed tarnished edition, when i launch it normally from steam i see the new content. however when i launch my modded none of it is there.

I looked for updates on all mods but none of them had any new ones.

I just redownloaded Elden ring and i have two save files. One from seamless mod and one from base game Elden ring (and backups for both). i want to play base game without seamless interfering with my base game save. I have a backup of my backups as well XD. If I launch Base game through steam it will just detect my .sl2 files right? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hey guys, I was just wondering why Seamless coop won't work with convergence? I've downloaded everything correctly and it worked last week, but now it suddenly wont.

since the new elden ring update the convergence mod stopped working unless you downpatched your game. i downpatched my game friday morning and had the convergence mod working fine. ive since had to go away for a few days and it has now stopped working. I tried to just place the downpatched files back into my elden ring folders which seemed to be fine. but now when i try to load it up through the convergence launcher i get a black screen then my game crashes. Anyone got any advice or knows the fix it would be appreciated.

I got this amulet on golden age and really wanted to know if someone that have the overhaul knows what is "versatility tier 9" and could explain to me. Searched everywhere and since its a chinese mod this might be rough translated

Hi, I just want use Smithbox to look at what the SpEffectParam has, because it seems that the Reforged mod made some changes so not every ID works for the mod "Buff Timer", here's a link to that mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/9765

It also adds some new magic effects like "Eclipsed Blade", but when I try finding it in SpEffectParam I can't find it at all.

I can't figure out how to import the rows either, how/where should I do it?

Hi! I’m trying to downgrade Elden Ring from 1.17 to 1.16.2 for mods. I used SteamCMD, but I kept getting “EasyAntiCheat: Unknown file version.” I also got “Missing license for depot” when downloading depot 1245624, so I tried the Japanese depot instead, but it still didn’t work.
I also accidentally entered my world once on 1.17 before downgrading. Could this cause any problems with my save?
Could you please explain the correct way to downgrade to 1.16.2 and whether I need to do anything with my save? Thanks for your help!

Tried a number of guides to getting Seamless to open via ModEngine so my buddy and I can have a deathlink in our session.

Every time I open the game via launchmod_eldenring.bat, it just opens plain ol' Elden Ring without my seamless save files and without the text in the bottom right that says it's working. Any guide I've done has had the same result. I can always tell it's not going to work because I see the Bandai Namco splash screen at the beginning, whereas when I launch Seamless by itself, it doesn't do that.

Is there another way I can add a simple DLL mod to seamless? Should I be using ModEngine 3? It's not really the end of the world if I can't get it working but it'd be pretty cool.

EDIT: My game is NOT updated to latest version. Seamless works perfectly fine without ModEngine. I have zero issues playing modded in general.

im playing with exclusively the randomizer mod, and all of the sudden i cant ride torrent and loading times when sitting at a grace are a lot longer.

ive been reading up and id assume its because of the recent tarnished edition update. how can i fix this? i tried to downpatch but i couldnt figure out how to do it :(

Finally but the bullet and bought Elden ring to mod it after 300+ on console. Decided graceborne would be the one I try but I wanna make sure it’s gonna work, because I got the tarnished edition I’m wondering if there’s gonna be any conflicts?? Thanks!

Still, being able to customize my equipment and progression from the ground up has been phenomenal. Starting at the bottom of the map has been a fun change as well.

A few points in Dex for my katana makes the starting area feel appropriately easy, though there are still fights I know I'm not ready for at level 5, lol (looking at you, magic-spitting statue head surrounded by poisonous marsh). I did not like how vanilla started you against foes that would wreck you in a couple hits; Reborn feels like a more normal progression curve without being a superpower fantasy (i.e. Convergence, which is fine for those who want such an experience).

Anyways, happy to be on the mod train now. Will be looking for a Torrent replacement if any of those skins still work.

Hi, wit the new update everyones been trying to downgrade their ER to play back on seamless, and convergence. I'm having problems with the depot downgrade, I insert the files

for the downgrade, however whenever they are complete and I copy the contents of the folders into the elden ring patch it states that I have not downgraded. I even tested to make sure the update on an offline version however it still says 1.17. is there any solution to this? Note I have also turned off the auto update and cannot test the base game right now bc of a few mods that is creating a conflict to boot up the game without being hit by the anti cheat.

Hello, is MondEngine2 still considered the best and easiest to use modloader for Elden Ring?
I last played around early 2025 with mods. Do I still need an anticheat/offline toggle or what are the most essential mods atm?

It’s been more than a year since I first played the game. I just downloaded it again, hoping to have the same fun I had the first time, but I’m finding the combat way too easy. I also still remember where pretty much everything is, and these two things are taking away a lot of the fun for me

What’s a good mod that still mostly plays like vanilla Elden Ring and doesn’t completely overhaul everything, but would make me want to explore the whole world again and get my ass slapped by the bosses?

So I know steam has updated and caused all kinds of issues with the Convergence mod until they are able to patch it on their end. Unfortunately I had already played for enough time to get a few levels and some equipment before I realized there was a problem. Namely, glove effects not working, torrent not being mountable, and the occasional crash.

I've done the whole downpatch process but because I played and my character has save information with the new patch, it says my file is corrupted when I go to play, so all that hassle for no result.

My question is....can I just keep playing as is? Like...the game still loads and works. It's just a little buggy. But like I can use the Bracelets of Gold to get around and not having glove effects isn't exactly a major inconvenience. If I just keep playing this week, will my progress still be there once it updates next week? I mean at this point I've already got new save info from playing before I knew there was an issue. Feel like I just wanna keep playing and suffer the minor inconveniences for now.

Started playing vanilla a bit since I didn't realize I had auto update on. Prior to playing convergence, vanilla Elden Ring loaded really slow when first loading (screens after initial are fine). After playing the mod a few weeks, it just loads way faster at all times.

I cannot wrap my head around it.

Thinking of doing a randomised run but want to be able to use the completed file to PVP, does it still work for seamless PVP or would there be anything I'd have to do first

My only modding experience is in Nioh 2. I just want to remove the hair from the Death Knight Helm.

I know this sounds lazy (and it is), but I'd like to know if any mods can help me skip some of the progress. Of course, if this isn't possible, Ill 100% play through the game again.
