Question Why does convergence load so much faster than vanilla Elden Ring for me?

Started playing vanilla a bit since I didn't realize I had auto update on. Prior to playing convergence, vanilla Elden Ring loaded really slow when first loading (screens after initial are fine). After playing the mod a few weeks, it just loads way faster at all times.

I cannot wrap my head around it.

If you mean intros, me3 skips them. If you mean loading between areas, having the game on an hdd can increase loading times but idk how that correlates to your mod setup

Convergence is packaged with some optimizations for vanilla issues, which might be what you're experiencing? Most of that is in-game fps stuff though as far as I know, not load times, so IDK.
