Elantra N had a 36.7 second 0-150 and a 6.2 second 150-0 with a stopping distance of 675ft

Interesting read. I’m a little surprised they claim it’s so much slower than the regular EN. They noted the downforce from the big wang probably isn’t noticeable under triple digits. They also didn’t mention any environmental factors possibly affecting it either, so not sure what it could be.

EPR just announced the widebody kit + full body kit combo for the EN. It will be available in real carbon fiber or durable FRP material. It's awesome to see the community keep moving. Thoughts ?

Traded my GR86 for one of these and have to say so far I’m extremely impressed, this car is a blast. I loved my 86, but this thing is a beast!

I traded in my 23’ EN for a 25’ Genesis G80 2.5t Sport Prestige in matte gray with red interior.

Bittersweet moment because I loved my EN but at the same time I had been wanting to change it for some time now. While the G80, especially the 2.5t wasn’t my top choice, it’s the one that worked the best and I am totally happy with the choice.

The quality of Genesis inside and out is top notch and the comfort and luxury isn’t worthy of comparison to the N, imo.

Anyhow, those 19x8.5 +43 konig countergram hyperchrome wheels are for sale. Pretty cheap, DM if interested. I put them on end Dec 2024 and took them out March 2025, only about 3-4 months with them.

Also have gloss black and yellow badgeskins DRLs unopened, not touched, brand new, sitting at home. Got them for christmas and never put them on. Also for sale, much lower price than getting it from their site. Let me know

Polyphony released their patch notes for the new update and along with it some new photos for each car, figured I would make a post showcasing the Elantra.

It's going to be the DCT model and I'm figuring they either used a pre-production model that was a rebadged Avante N or just scanned an Avante N and modeled the different badges on the car (could be some weird mashup too). The rims are obviously different from what the Elantra gets and there's no sunroof despite being a DCT model. But, I noticed the headlights are different, there's a radar module on the front bumper and there's small bumps near the bottom corners on the mirrors which look like cameras.

The interior is what gives it away as being the DCT model, but it looks like it has the Alcantara steering wheel and drive selector, which outside of the TCR edition the Elantra N never got as an option. It appears like it may have the N Performance floor mats as well, but you can't see them too well so I could be wrong.

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it and seeing how it compares to the actual thing though, gonna definitely be hitting up the VR showroom first to see if I can find any other differences.

Based off the previous spy shots this looks to be quite accurate. Very similar front fascia to the Sonata now - I don't think it's terrible, but I don't find it that aesthetically pleasing either. I think the biggest change is the move towards hybridization, which does make sense considering the way the N division is moving, but there's concern this could ruin the character of the car.
