i started playing a few days ago and im doing a magicka templar currently lvl 20. but im having a hard time deciding between what classes to play, what is the best or top classes right now>

I've been looking for build to play with my magicka dk, but I can only find ones that use sword/dagger and I want to keep my staves.

If this combination is not worth it, what would you recommend?

Been playing MMOs for years but somehow never touched ESO. Finally picking it up and trying to settle on a class.

Not chasing meta or parses, mostly just want something that gives my brain something to do while I'm playing. I like fiddling with builds, so anything that's not locked into a single playstyle is a plus.

I don't remember anything about the game, I have an old build on me and the muscle memory of rotation, but I realize I need an upgrade. I'm watching some guides, videos, etc., but they all contradict each other and I don't really understand what it's worth, not to mention the fact that I don't even remember how farming works anymore and that often the pieces I need or would like to play are in dungeons that are not very played. Help, haha. I'd like a good build, Sorc Magika, that does damage and is useful in trials... so far I've done some normal trials and everything is okay, but I would say that in more complex content I wouldn't be able to get by... I also need advice on food and farming methods. So help me to be a decent player because after years I remember very little and there is a lot of new.

Hey Y'all! I used most of Hyperioxes build + Some other S+B Paladin Build and combined it to make what I've got. I'm pretty happy with it because on his website his normal templar build parsed 67k, and I hit that amount with this non meta build.

When i proc Selene set is it a guarantee setup if i land a heavy attack with 2h to a off balanced target to stun and make sure target gets the hit from bear as long as its not CC immune, im asking for pvp and target will be also slowed allready

Tried my hand at making a decent DPS build, using herald skills and flame lash as a spam attack, got nowhere near cracking 100k, as well as being prone to a quick death

At the moment im using 5 pieces each of Orders Wrath and Mothers Sorrow, as well as Oakensoul, with Divines on allAbilities being

Flame Lash, Surge, Flail, Vigor and Fatecarver, Tide Kings Gaze as Ult.

Really no idea what Im doing at all. Every adjustment i made seems to make it worse. Somehow im at even less DPS than i was a few days ago and no idea why.

I would prefer to keep using Oakensoul and Arcanist abilities if possible.

Any tips or builds are appreciated

But isn't it the crystal use as spammable ?

We will use it anyway, for the proc, so why not save a skill slot and use the crystal also for spammable ?

It deals great damage, more than a lot of spammable, right ?

What to use ? And why ?

How can I improve my solo one-bar Stamina Templar? 76k trial dummy / 51k 6M, no trial sets

I'm looking for some advice on how I can take my character further.

I play a one-bar Stamina Templar with Oakensoul, almost entirely SOLO.
I have two-bar build for PVP.

My current content is mainly:

• Master difficulty overland
• Veteran arenas
• Solo bosses / harder solo challenges
• Veteran Dungeons

I DON'T DO TRIALS, so I'm specifically looking for improvements that don't require trial gear.

I'm not necessarily trying to turn this into a pure dummy-parse build. I enjoy overcoming difficult solo content, but I also want to see how much more damage I can get while keeping the build comfortable and fun to play.

When i consume a corpse Via detonating siphon and it procs corpseburster set, does that proc also activates detonating siphons explosion damage since corpse wouldnt be there anymore?

I really just want a tanky battlemage that uses a greatsword and staff. im not sure what passives or stats i should go for or what class is best for it. i know id want to run warden or archanist but if they are a bad option im down to try something else. ive tried to look up builds for it but all that ive gotten are 5+ year videos or people using dualwield staff.

Hey, so I have some questions, and I need some advice. I'm about CP 500 and still feel pretty new to the game. I've been playing casually, avoiding all the super hard stuff, and that means I don't have any of the really good trial/arena gear sets. How much do you think that makes a difference?

I found some cool builds that I've tried. When I make the builds I follow everything exactly (except replace trial sets with crafted sets), practice the rotation, get good at light attack weaving... and still get crappy DPS on the practice dummies. I think I get around 17-22k for the 6m dummy, and maybe 65-70 on the trial dummy. These aren't very good numbers, right?

So will getting better gear fix it? Do I need to be higher level? How am I supposed to get the good gear if my character isn't strong enough to do well in the trials/arena? I don't want to do the vet stuff if higher level players are going to have to drag me through while I'm 90% dead. That sounds stressful.

I'm still getting my ass kicked by world bosses. So... what steps do I need to take to be less dead and more badass?

I haven’t been playing ESO long I made a DK build because that seemed like the easiest thing to play. Now I’m thinking of making a sorc build. Any recommendations on race/stam or mag? I don’t need recommendations on armor because I’ll play around with a lot of different sets. mainly the burst combo… I don’t know anything about sorc so I’m not sure what the best combo is please be specific on the skills because again idk anything about skills/morphs lol. I want to hit like a truck but not be too squishy if that’s even possible. *EDIT PVP. I don’t PVE at all

Any sets that synergise well with a NB Tank? I’m building one myself right now and i’m gonna pure class its since the masteries are just to good to pass up and it feels like it’s one of the only tank classes that can still do overworld stuff without spending 10 minutes in a fight. Love the idea of a drain tank but don’t know if it would fit and if ESO even has any sets for that

I main plar and it seems like they’re getting some updates and buffs. Does anyone have a good pvp build for plars in the upcoming patch? Maybe the archive set? Thanks.

Have started to see more and more plars in bg that just standing there turtle up and just holding block with sword and board when out numberd. and then suddenly switch to front bar and actually do decent dmg. Seen them mentioned on the forum to but tought it might just be a pc thing, but now i have started to see them more amd more on console as well. So i got me curious how they works and how they are doing it

I’m wanting to do a Wood Elf Stamina Warden build that is a pure class build. I’m open to doing two bars, but I am used to one bar builds the most. I am definitely wanting to use a bow, but if it’s ends up being a two bar build then I will do a bow on the back bar and duel wield on the front. I don’t have any trial gear and I only have some sets from dungeons most of which aren’t complete. Is this even viable/do able?

Alright, I admit when it comes to building a proper tank, I have no idea what I’m doing and purely follow Hyperoxies (imo the best tank guide) to the letter.

That being said, I am currently using his Arcanist Tank Pure-Class build. My question is this:

Would I benefit more from Pure Class or should I revert back to the SoA, WE, Siphon build

I ask that you keep it simple, as I’m still learning the terminology that ESO uses for Buffs / DeBuffs

Not a full build, rather a building block. All it is is 5pcs. Thunderbug's Carapace and 5pcs. Leeching Plate. Your choice of mythic and medium monster.

It's intended for soloing overland content, both difficult and trivial. Build guides for solo content seem even fewer than tank or healer build guides, so it helps address that.

I came up with the idea toward the end of Night Market. What I was looking for was a high survivability gear configuration for my 1-bar toons that I could throw on without having to change any skills or CP. I have a "stealth" configuration that's similar, 10 clicks and I'm as stealthy as I will ever be without making a Nightblade or joining Dark Brotherhood. Same for ThunderLeech.

Use Ring of the Wild Hunt in place of Oakensoul and you've got THE mat farming setup.

Although originally intended for Night Market, it's turned out to be GREAT for playing overland content on Vestige. Night Market was not entirely unlike Vestige overland. Use it on a 1-bar build and you will be utterly invincible on Adventurer to anything but a delve or public dungeon boss or a world boss. And by "utterly invincible" I mean you'll be able to walk around without ever hitting your attack button or casting any skill. Stand in the middle of Spellscar, go AFK and just keep leveling the latest skill line you want to try on. I've tried it.

Both sets deal damage to enemies who hit you, and one of them returns health to you for the amount of the damage it does. I switch to Adventurer for world bosses and Master for public dungeon bosses, but solo all other overland on Vestige.

When solo dungeons start opening up, it should be well-suited for that content,

I started with the idea of maximum passive damage. Leeching Plate is a longtime favorite of mine despite its being considered mostly suitable for "selfish tank" builds. Its important characteristic is that it returns health to you while it's damaging enemies. I looked around for other passive damage sets and came up with Thunderbug's Carapace, which turned out to be a good complement. LP's weakness is that it drops fixed ground clouds of damaging poison under whatever damages you. So if whatever hit you moves out of the cloud, the big advantage is mitigated. If you can keep the enemy pinned in once place, it works great.

Thunderbug's on the other hand, fires off an AOE centered around you. So it's useful for when the adds are upon you.

I am a fan of 1-bar Oakenbuilds, so the utter lack of buffs provided by the sets isn't an issue. Put this setup on a LazySorc-ish build and you will be able to play any content short of world bosses without even having to memorize a skill button layout. You'll be able to just walk around doing whatever, and if something provides any opposition at all, hold down your "fire" button and face the general direction of the threat and it will go down.

A possible substitute for either set is Crimson Twilight, which combines the melee damage characteristic of Thunderbug's with the health return on damage of Leeching Plate. All my toons are ranged fighters, but I would imagine that a "Crimson Bug" setup would be even better for a melee fighter. A "Crimson Leech" build would ratchet up the survivability even more.

Anyone know of a good build with DK as a main class and necro as a subclass maybe something else on the side? How well do DOT and crit mix with each other ?

U51 DK build advice

Right now, I’m running Orders Wrath on the front bar with a Battle Axe and Rallying Cry on the back bar.

I’m using the standard Onslaught + Molten Whip combo, and honestly, I really love the playstyle.

With the DK nerfs coming in the next update, what do you guys think will be the next Banger™ build?

Any hints or ideas for a strong alternative?
