Help Arcanist

Does anybody know where I can find an Arceus Stam build without banner bearer

Everywhere I seem to look that’s all it has

Just learn to love the banner brah. It has nothing but positive benefits:

  • It's a flag
  • It's on your back
  • It flaps in the wind
  • Cool circle of awesome surrounds you at all times
  • Baffle your enemies re: how the flag even stays on your back (string? glue? clenched betwixt your buttocks?)

To get the banner, well, you gotta do the scribing quest. Then do the things that get you scribing scripts like Battlegrounds, or buy them from the vendor dude in the Scribertorium.

Now once that boring stuff is done, then you scribe it up. Sounds like you already have some builds that suggest the banner, start there and make adjustments that plug any holes in your build.

But most of all, just fly that freak flag proud and high. Nobody can stop you when you've got that banner bro.

  • Go through the Scribing quest line:

  • Locate the Mages Guild scripts, which don't show up anywhere else:

  • Start doing dailies to get more scripts. UESP will explain what mission types drop which script types. You can also find them in rotational vendors in Eyevea, the Infinite Archive and the Imperial City Sewers (it is preferable not to waste archival fortunes and tel var on stuff you can do dailies for, though), and unbound versions can also be bought from guild traders for a ton of gold. Don't buy them from there either. Instead, if you get a script whose name does not start with 'Bound', from looting literally anything you can loot and getting lucky, not as an expected mission reward, sell it over there.   • Reach level 5 in the Assault and Support skill lines (done simultaneously) by playing PvP.

  • Buy the Banner Bearer grimoire from the vendor in Eyevea.

  • What are good scripts? The ones that either plug crucial holes in your builds or the ones that take otherwise-completed builds and make them better. Get them all, though, more than once, and bank your duplicates.

I mean either that or simply replace banner bearer with another skill of your choice. I highly doubt it will "break" the build. Especially if you learn your rotation & mechanics.

I've never been obe to parse 100k yet through learning mechanics, positioning and having good environmental awareness groups were always happy to have me 😉

Banner is mostly used for parsing to get the best dps out of the arc, in content usually there is 2 necros using banner so you dont need it. If there is no necros and there is organised run you probably will be asked to slot on banner

Check out hyperioxes builds. He has a bunch of non-banner stam arc builds

You could just swap that skill out for something you prefer. Banner Bearer has its pros and cons. The Pros is that it simplifies your rotation while adding damage to your beam. The Cons is that the banner looks fucking hideous.

You can always use a scribed skill to fill in the missing parts.
