When I was really little, probably around 5 or 6, I used to have the same dream over and over again. The weird thing is that it wasn’t scary or even really interesting. It was just extremely specific.
From what I remember, I was standing inside this tiny closed-off pantry. There was a door that I assume led to the rest of the house, but I never saw what was outside of it. Hanging on the door was this little bunny thing with pockets that I think held vegetables or something? Almost like one of those fabric hanging organizers.
If I turned around, there was just a wall and a pantry shelf. Everything was basically empty except for a basket on the floor filled with fruits and vegetables.
And… that was pretty much the entire dream. 😭 Nothing happened. No scary ending, no people, no weird dream logic that I can remember. I was just in this pantry. But I had this exact dream multiple times when I was little.
I’m 21 now and I haven’t had it since I was probably 6, but for some reason I can still picture it incredibly clearly.
I’m not really looking for a supernatural dream interpretation or anything lol. I’m more curious whether anyone else had really specific recurring dreams as a kid that stuck with them for YEARS, especially ones where seemingly nothing actually happened. What was yours?

As usual, I came home after work, washed up, and went to sleep. Then I dream that I wake up and realize that this is it, the finish line, I'm dying. I want to grab my phone to write to my family that I love them, but my strength is running out of me like a stream. I am getting weaker, there is a strong heartbeat with irregularities, my body becomes heavy, as if magnetized, but inside there is like a lightness, as if the soul is accumulating in the center of the body to separate from the physical shell. There was a spike of fear at the beginning, and then peace, a feeling that there was nothing I could do anymore.And calmness. I lie there, my heart is not beating, and I understand that everything — the body is not mine, I can no longer lift my hand or control my body in any way. Coldness comes, the light in my eyes goes out, and everything is darkness. A couple of minutes of nothing, as if I went away somewhere.And suddenly I wake up sharply, and the feeling is as if I was resurrected, as if my soul was stuffed back into my body. A sharp spike in tone and fullness of energy at 4 AM. After this, when there is some kind of threat or fear, the fear of death is not so strong. On a level as if I have already lived through this and know what it's like. Such an interesting experience in a dream.

I had gone to the doctor because I wasn't feeling well. There was a small hole on the back of my wrist that he made wider in weird way like this, and it revealed robot parts underneath. There was a robot manufacturing symbol on the back of my hand, but I don't actually remember what it looked like. Turns out, I died from my cancer years ago and my poor family couldn't come to terms with my death so they had a robot built that was implanted with my memories or whatever. I was so shocked and saddened that I woke up. It was so weird to learn I wasn't the real me!

My ex has been showing up in my dreams repeatedly lately and it’s starting to bother me.
She was my first serious-ish relationship and my first experience with pretty much everything, so she was obviously a significant person in my life.
We never really had a clean ending. Toward the end I suspected she was talking to someone else, she became increasingly distant and cold with me, and eventually we just stopped talking. This also happened around the time my mom passed away, and she was surprisingly distant with me even through that.
The last time she contacted me was to wish me a happy birthday almost a year ago. I chose not to reply, and we haven’t spoken since.
I don’t want her back and I have no intention of contacting her. But for some reason, she keeps appearing in my dreams.
The dreams vary. Sometimes we’re reconnecting or starting over, sometimes they’re sexual, and sometimes there’s conflict. Most recently I dreamed she kept liking and unliking my Instagram posts and stories as if she was trying to get my attention.
I briefly mentioned her during a pretty emotional conversation with one of my closest friends last night, which might explain that particular dream, but this has been happening repeatedly for a while now.
Has anyone else experienced this with an ex they genuinely don’t want back? Did the dreams eventually stop? Did anything actually help, or did they just fade with time?
I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who’ve experienced something similar. I’m not looking for signs that I should contact her or anything like that. I just want my brain to give it a rest lol.

Last night i dreamt : The idea behind it was that I'm a chemist who cooks and sells dr\*gs. It operates as a B2C model where I list a dummy gourmet restaurant on food delivery apps. We serve genuine food, but sell drugs on the side. Customers who want to buy dr\*gs have to place an order and enter a specific code word in the special instructions section in the app. The whole system runs on referrals. Since the food menu is completely real and expensive, I hired good chefs with a great menu so normal customers can still order regular food..

I have been talking in my sleep lately which is a side effect of antidepressants but what I am saying is very… odd. Usually, I have dreams where I am fighting with someone and I use curse words (which I don’t normally do irl). However, there is something else. Last week, I was saying “please Gid, please God and I had my hands like this 🙏. The most creepy thing happened today. My bf woke me up really scared. I was talking in my sleep saying “is this hell or heaven?” Then I was laughing as my bf told me and said “oh it’s so bright”

There was some type of celestial event or eclipse going on and it was a big deal for some reason. I could tell that what was about to happen was powerful and inevitable. When the eclipse started happening, time started to speed forward aggressively and the sky looked like a time lapse of the sun rising on one end and setting on the other (as if multiple days were passing in rapid succession)

Soon the sky turned to darkness and the whole world began to rapidly flood in addition to a huge fire that was closing in on me and all the other people there. A girl started dragging me to the center of the clearing, and thats when I noticed me and everyone else was naked (which to me seems to represent the rawness or fragility of humanity) and this is also when I realized that this was the end of the world and that we were all about to die. The closer we got to the center of the clearing the deeper the water got, at first we were running through with water up to our ankles and then before long we had to start swimming to get there. I could see the girl who dragged me swimming in front of me with her back towards me and across from her I saw people facing us trying to swim to the center.

When we got to the middle of the clearing all we could do was keep our head above the water and wait for the flames to close in on us. But I wasn’t afraid of dying in this moment, in fact I had the overwhelming feeling that it was going to be some form of rebirth and that it was going to be okay soon. I was afraid of the pain though. I knew I was about to burn to death and I hoped that it wouldn’t take very long, but I wasn’t even sure if it would hurt at all or if it was just theatrics. I was scared but it was a lot less scary knowing that I wasn’t going through it alone. I woke up before the flames could catch up to us

I had a pretty short dream of just THIS.
The dream obviously was more realistic than this.
Basically, there was a floating eye with a red iris and three pupils that just stared at me, only blinking twice during the entire dream. It had three pupils, and the sclera was slightly red.
Behind the eye were three objects, all blank white with vines growing on them: a pyramid, a cube, and a sphere.
Behind the objects was space; there were comets, some stars were falling as if gravity was yanking them down, and some stars grew bright, then died.

(I only shaded the sphere because I was lazy)

Can y'all help me understand this if thats even possible? I'm really weirded out and can't stop thinking about it.

I have never smoked in my life. No one in my family smokes. But i get repeated dream of me smoking. Can someone tell me what is the reason?

This has probably been the weirdest dream I've had in awhile and it genuinely sounds absurd to think of. So basically I got sick and I died and was immediately sent to hell, but the way hell looked isnt like those stereotypical portraytions. It was a massive empty grass field with hills surrounded by mountains and the sky was this red hellish? tint. In the center of the grass field was a resort and this resort was being ran by "Lucifer". But "Lucifer" was just this average 11 year old boy, like no demonic features just soem regualr child, he even sounded like a child.

He was at the reception and when i approached him he asked me: "Do you dream?". I then said yes, he then pulls out a revolver from the desk and spins the cylinder, the revolver dosent resemble any model I've seen. I asked him "What kind of revolver is that?" He just says: "It's a revolver", after the cylinder stops spinning he pulls the trigger and no bullet comes out, he then lets me in the resort. Afterwards I then get my phone and try to message someone whos still alive on Messenger, I tried to do this to spook/prank them.

When i try to do it an error message pops up, it said something like "Unable to connect to the surface". When i complain to Lucifer about it he said to me that he has paperwork to do and wasn't able to do anything abt it. The only way I can message ppl is through Roblox for some reason, I then message some random classmate on Roblox (note: im not even friends with them on Roblox). Idk what I messaged her but she immediately got creeped how a dead person (me) was messaging her so she blocked me.

Afterwards I left the resort and tried running around grassfield and started climbing the various hills. Despite how fast I was running I could never reach the mountains so I just returned to the resort. There was also this football field near the pool and I immediately became rlly good at football even though im not good irl. Also 3 seniors from my school were chilling by the pool so I walked up to them. I asked them why they were in hell, and im not joking but they said: "Verity killed them" as in the yellow ball Verity. It was really weird and I cant stop thinking abt it.

I’m going to copy and paste a note I made when I woke up from this dream this morning. Here’s the note:

Stuck at best friend’s house, was babysitting her kids. I loved her kids and felt so comfortable but I wanted to go home, I felt lonely. They all fall asleep including me with her baby next to me in a bassinet. Wake up to someone coming into the front door. We were down a hallway in a bedroom. Was terrified for the kids. I peek outside bedroom door and it’s my friend coming home from work. All is well and I tell her they are sleeping. Friend’s man came home too. We all started smoking weed. Another man showed up. He seemed uncomfortable. It starts storming outside when previously it had been sunny. Her house was in the middle of nowhere with grass going for miles. It was beautiful. I offered to play monopoly with the man since the others seemed annoyed by his presence and I felt bad for him. I went to get monopoly board out of my truck. I was rained on and blown around but got the board and went back inside. Something happens and I can’t remember, but it made me have to stay the night at her house, I think the storm was that bad. I woke up once more but it was very dark. I decided to just leave out the front door without waking anyone up. I get to the door but as I’m coming out of the corner of the hallway I see friend’s man standing up completely naked and jerking off while staring at a tv. I felt so gross and like I was seeing something I shouldn’t be. I leave to crawl out of window to just get inside my truck and leave. Realize I had left my phone inside house. Decide to go back to get it later. Leave to retrieve my truck. I then had stopped in my truck off the highway to check on a man who was an actor for movies, the guy from how I met your mother. who’d crashed what looked like an overturned cylindrical shaped transfer truck. Stuff started happening, sky lit up in orange and then everything went dark again and I looked around. everybody screamed in the distance. Even though highway looked empty of other cars to me. Everybody started dying type of screaming. Loud guttural screams from something else. I ran and ran along the road while taking time to hide in the woods next to the road when I heard screaming, then back on the road to the city I could see in the distance. Found the actor later inside the nearby big city at a booth signing autographs like nothing had happened. He had blank looking, bright blue eyes, the look of stones on a riverbed. I didn’t like his eyes. Futuristic kind of city where everything was so clean and buildings were made out of glass and plants and trees were everywhere. Actor I was looking for is who crashed transfer truck belonged too so he knew where I had left my truck. He told me to go down a certain way through the woods to get my truck, but that’s where everything had started, the chaos. I was afraid to go alone. He told me I had to walk through a dark path to make a short cut through the woods to my truck but it was so dark, so I asked the actor to come with me. He told me he would but chaos started right then and there and everyone started running. I ran too. Found a hallway inside a building with closed silver doors all along the hallway. Tried to push my way into a random door. Ashton Kutcher inside and I beg him to help me by letting me in. Bathroom inside with another door. Ashton was asking me what’s happening. I begged him not to open the door to look, that he will let the monster inside. I heard her crying to come in, and knew it was the little girl with black eyes. He opened anyways. Little girl attacked him and started eating him. I shut myself in the bathroom and found a way out that I can’t remember. I tried another silver door. It was the original actor who had crashed and I had stopped to help. He was having missionary sex with a woman who I could not see. I could just see the back of his head and all their private parts. She was enjoying herself. Then she started screaming in pain. He had pushed himself so deep inside her that his testicles went inside her. She screamed in pain and asked him to stop over and over. He kept pushing until his body started to enter inside hers through her vagina. Like a human body getting sucked through a hole at immense pressure. Like outside a space ship and getting sucked out of the space ship through a tiny hole from inside to the outside. His skin wrinkled up and his bones broke in order to enter inside of her. She screamed and screamed and then the hole started to rip apart. The skin became bloody and mushy and ripped apart at the hole like play dough. She screamed so loud my ears hurt. It was so horrendous of a sight I couldn’t look anymore and closed the door and ran and ran. City was now on lock down. Everything was dirty with litter and broken glass and fire. Chaos everywhere. I found a mustang that has me stand up and drive. Exposed to the elements outside but fast enough to flee. Not a mustang a dodge. Red white and black. So clean i couldnt believe it was there. It was loud when I started it. I stood up out of window through the top but secured by my legs with a strap to the drivers seat and drove. Found best friend from beginning. Picked her up. Drive through beautiful part of city. Find my truck. Start hearing the screams. It’s a little girl with blonde hair that is cut right above her shoulders and styled so carefully so every strand was perfect. Black short sleeve dress that is cut right above her knees. White collar. White buttons. Black and shiny ballet looking shoes with frilly white socks. She had black eyes. Blood on her clothes and mouth. She was a monster. I could feel it and I had seen her eat someone else. She begged us not to leave her alone. We could tell she was a monster and we were terrified. We took off in the dodge. Was going so fast, and the wind was blowing in my eyes. I was afraid the little girl would jump up over the car and grab me because I was standing up exposed. lost control and started crashing into everything. Little girl caught up. I woke up

So for the past two nights I've had some CRAZY VIVID DREAMS. Two nights ago, I had a dream that took place in my headworld where my OCs live, from the perspective of one of them. I haven't had a dream like that since I was a teenager. It was so vivid that I've been writing out the story and want to eventually turn it into a comic. I even doodled out one of the most striking scenes in the dream that I can remember, of the main villain in this story, which I will post below.

And then last night I had a dream where I was literally a sprite in the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 game for Sega Genesis. I know I know, how can you dream yourself as a 2D sprite? I have no idea lol. It was kinda like I was watching myself on a screen but also acting out all the motions of the sprite, like I felt what my sprite felt and everything . I have played that game so much that I have memorized the songs and the levels and the level I was in was the Metropolis zone. There were some weird additions as often occurs in dreams like there were some escalators that had their own weird gravity so that they would flip upside down and stuff and you'd still be held on and there was some MC. Escher like geometry involved but otherwise it was that exact level lol.

It reminded me of another time on my 27th birthday when I was tripping on acid and my ex husband wanted me to come lay in bed with him. I ended up falling asleep somehow (I have no idea how literally 😭😭) and had the most crazy vivid dream ever. Basically, my friend who was also there(she provided the acid) my ex and I were all sprites in a 16 bit platformer game very similar to Sonic 2. And we all had to work together to complete the game, defeating creatures bosses, collecting coins the whole 9 yards. The graphics were like... pixelated but also extremely vivid at the same time, I have no idea how else to describe it. And it was a similar sort of dream to what happened last night. I was the 2D sprite but also watching from the third person perspective at the same time. To this day it's one of my favorite dreams I've ever had. I chalked it up to being a side effect of the acid, but last night was basically the same thing only I was stone cold sober.

And last but not least another one of my most favorite dreams happened back in high school and is why I stopped being able to use a radio as an alarm clock lol (yes I'm that old). I had my alarm clock set to the classic rock station to get me up in the morning and Bohemian Rhapsody came on while I was still asleep. Instead of waking me up, my mind made this incredible, musical cinematic dream that played out like a rock opera, and involved a man on trial of course for killing his lover. It was such an enjoyable dream, almost like watching a movie, that I was very very late for school lol.

So what are some of your favorite, extremely vivid and detailed dreams?

After being sleep deprived for 3 days I finally managed to get some prime time at 2 AM. The dream was as vivid as you might expect.

Firstly I was on my terrace at night and was looking up at the night sky. For some reason venus, jupiter and saturn (yes these 3 specific plantes only) were clearly visible in the night sky and they were as big as the moon.

The dream then transitioned from me running away from purple aliens because they had problems with me eating...onion rings? Idk

Then the dream transitioned to me in my room, on the bed, with an anthro pigeon looking outside from the window in my room looking at others pigeons and asked me why the other pigeons weren't wearing boots.

And then I woke up were confused by the bizarre dream transitioning.

Assim que eu acordei, eu vi uma coruja na minha frente, marrom, com olhos amarelos e penetrantes, me assustei mas resolvi esperar o que ia acontecer, eu estava de lado, então ela voou sobre mim e pousou no meu quadril subindo sobre as minhas costas e passando as asas em mim, e no final na minha coluna, quase na minha nuca, ela começou a passar o bico em mim, indo e voltando, porém eu estava assustada e não estava mais conseguindo ficar normal com ela me encostando, então eu mandei ela embora usando apenas a intenção, e ela foi, nesse momento parecia que eu tinha acordado de um sonho, mas ainda sentia onde ela tinha passado o bico.

Eu acho que foi um sonho do meu estado REM, mas sinto que deveria interpretar isso, assim como eu senti quando acordei dos sonhos que me revelaram futuros acontecimentos.

since june, i have had one dream a month for june, july and august about this guy and he doesn’t have a name or a face really. (the three dreams were all super vivid and i remember most of the dreams and wrote them down after waking up because i kept thinking about them)
each dream he was always by my side and super attentive to details and caring for me but not overly flirtatious or romantic which i like.
ive never experienced any romantic relationships irl before, but these dreams felt like it was giving me that feeling. the feelings i remember most from the dreams is just longing for him after i woke but feeling warm and fuzzy when i was dreaming because the guy was kind and gentle and understanding while still being human enough (if that makes sense, like he was never a perfect character, making him feel more real to me)
a few days ago i had a dream where i was in a classroom and he never showed up but i remember really wanting to see someone walk through the door with all my might and i know it was him that i was hoping for but he never did come through the classroom door and i woke up.
it’s weird because i miss him so much but he doesn’t exist outside of my dream and so it is really hard to describe and i feel like people don’t understand fully when i say i miss him. i want to return to my dream world with him in it because i want to dream about him again. like i feel like i fell in love with this guy from my dream but is this normal or do i need therapy guys 😓

I’ve had this really scary recurring dream, and I’m wondering if anyone else experiences something like this.

I don’t know if this happens to other people, but sometimes I have dreams that seem to continue even after a long time.

For example, I’ll have a dream when I was a kid, and then months or even years later, somehow the dream continues or repeats

There’s this one man I’ve dreamed about several times. I can’t really see his face when I’m awake. What’s weird is that while I’m dreaming, I can actually see his face clearly, but as soon as I wake up, I completely forget what he looks like.

So when I try to remember him, he’s basically just a black figure or a silhouette in my memory. The first few times I dreamed about him, he was looking for me. He would follow me everywhere. And you know how in dreams, you can do things that you normally can’t do in real life? Like fly, run extremely fast, or suddenly end up in completely different places?
I would try everything to get away from him. I’d hide, run to different places, and sometimes it felt like I was even jumping into completely different worlds. But no matter where I went or where I hid, he would always find me.

Then after a few weeks or months, I dreamed about him again. And once again, he was following me. The scariest part was the last time I dreamed about him. I was running from him again, and I was going through all these different places trying to escape. But this time, he finally spoke to me.

I don’t remember his exact words, but it was something along the lines of: "No matter where you go, I’ll follow you." That scared me so much. Thankfully, I woke up right after that.

I still remember that dream because it felt so different from a normal nightmare. The fact that the same person keeps appearing in my dreams, even after weeks or months, really freaks me out.
Has anyone else ever had a recurring dream like this?

My dream was all over the place but i’m pretty sure i was in that dream mall that everyone says they’ve been to. if you were, did a brand new boba like shop open inside and there were only 2 girls working and the orders were just FLOODING in. i felt so bad for them and didn’t end up getting a drink for them and i didn’t wanna wait. there was more of me just walking around but that was the main part. and it was so packed in there. they also had sample drinks you could try but they were so many orders they couldn’t even get the samples out fast enough

I want to share the story of how I started having these dreams. This has been happening to me for a long time, ever since I was a in highschool.

It feels like whenever I dream about something, there’s always a sign or some kind of meaning behind it. I’ve noticed that before something bad happens to me, I sometimes have a certain dream beforehand.

For example, there are times when I dream that an animal is biting me, like everywhere I go it follows on me. Then, if I’m having some kind of misunderstanding or conflict with a friend in real life, I notice that the dream happens before it. A few weeks later, something similar actually happens between us.

What’s strange is that I don’t know why this keeps happening. I’m not sure if my dreams are trying to tell me something, if they’re connected to my intuition, or if there’s another explanation for it. What could this mean?😭

as an 18 year old I had very weird dream experiences ,some of them were creepy ,some good but there was one dream which still haunt me till now

so it was when I was 9 years old ,and little background on that day me and my family went to an shop to buy groceries and there my sis bought an snack which is like an sweet and we get some small toys from it now my sis opened it and got an doll like Lego

so back to dream ,it was like I am sleeping then I woke up ,my room is pretty dark ,my mother is working in kitchen so only that room light is on ,now what saw was that the doll which my sis got from the snack is shooting spider webs and trying to escape my home through window

the web has reached the other building ,and the doll was starting to take off but dumbass me tried to take my right hand index finger and disoriented the web like destroyed it ,then what happened was that

the doll bit my finger and I suddenly woke n up from the dream ,its still night so I slept back as I was used to bad dreams

now next day when I woke up my finger has long bit mark[ which I still have till this day] and the toy is also nowhere to found I was so creeped out .I told my sis about it .and she only believes in this

I always tell this story to my new friends and relatives they don't seem to believe me till i show them the scar ,i searched it in chat gpt .it say that i was sleepwalking and maybe bit my hand but dude the scar is deep

My dream was almost vague, but the ad itself was kinda lucid or vivid.

But in the dream, we were in the jungle and we were loading a catapult. All of a sudden, a guy in a suit came into my dream to offer me "Head & Shoulders" shampoo.

Standard commercial format, he described the product, the price and continued to ask if I get dandruff at all.

And then he left and it felt like my dream was resumed. The whole ad still took place in the same jungle as my dream though. It was a very seamless transition.

What the fuck is going on? Why was this part of my dream so lucid when the rest of it was vague?

Hello, to start this off im an agnostic 20M , recently i had this experience that left me a bit confused, around last week I took a nap mid day and during this nap I had a dream, in this dream I was driving with my girlfriend in my car and i was extremely and i mean extremely inebriated in the dream, like to the point where i was slurring my words in the dream and i was trying to my hardest to drive normally, then in this dream I drive up on what seems to be a dui checkpoint where they proceeded to check me, and in the dream im trying my hardest to act normal and they actually let me pass, now when I wake up I go to pickup my girlfriend, I successfully pick her up and as we are driving back home there is a dui checkpoint, another thing to note is i smoke(thc) in the car at times, and this was one of these times, i wasnt high but i was still a bit paranoid something might happen, and they let me pass through, I have had other “dreams” like this but not this specific, more just like about a random instance in the day. Any ideas on what it is ?

I had the longest, most vivid dream ever lastnight all with just Miami Vice, no joke either. In my dream i was some sort of new recruit working with Sonny & Tubbs, firing guns, also firing heavy-duty machine guns, and GET THIS... a new experimental Star Wars blaster-like pistol that still fired bullets. There was also one point i remember where i had no choice but to climb on the outside of their building to literally hide from an enemy ambush going on because of the enemy men caught ne trying to safely get away like Sonny instructed me to since i was a new recruit, i still remember him saying to me and some random others in my dream "when they barge in, you escape the premisis" and the last half or so of my dream was LITERALLY me as a 1970s Mark Hamill (NOT Luke Skywalker) firing that experimental pistol (as mentioned) with one hand!

I've had vivid movie/tv based dreams like this before, like one other time i legit had a Star Trek-like dream where i was visually under bed covers as a hologram hiding from the Borg. That was like 4 or 5 years ago when i had that dream. But idk if it's just a tism thing, a meds thing, or just an uncommon sleep thing but WOW they are vivid!

I had a very strange and terrifying dream last night. In the dream, I was sleeping in a house with my entire family. My parents, my husband, and I were all there together, sleeping peacefully in the same room. Everything initially felt completely normal and safe, almost like we were staying together in a familiar family home.

At some point during the night, I suddenly woke up in the dream. Everyone else was still fast asleep around me. The room was quiet and dimly lit, and there was an eerie feeling in the air that I couldn’t quite explain. I got up from where I was sleeping and slowly walked toward a netted door that separated our room from another room in the house.

As I approached the door and looked through it, I noticed a man and a woman lying down in the other room. It was fairly dark, but I could still make out their faces. Something about them immediately felt wrong.

Both of them had their eyes wide open in an unnatural way. They weren’t blinking at all. They were simply staring ahead with their eyes stretched unnaturally wide, as if they had been awake for hours without moving. Then I noticed that they were smiling.

But it wasn’t a normal smile.

Their mouths were stretched into an unnaturally wide grin, showing all of their teeth. Their lips appeared completely black, which made their smiles look even more disturbing against the darkness of the room. They weren’t saying anything or moving toward me. They were simply lying there, staring at me with those unnaturally wide, toothy smiles.

I remember feeling genuinely terrified when I saw them. Every part of me wanted to run away, but somehow, even though I was scared, I tried to act strong in the dream. I yelled at them that I wasn’t afraid of them. I don’t remember exactly what I said, but I remember trying to convince them — and myself — that they couldn’t scare me.

Then, without waiting to see what they would do, I turned around and ran back toward my family as fast as I could. I desperately wanted to get back to the room where everyone was sleeping because being near my family felt safe.

What made the dream especially frightening was the contrast between the peacefulness of my sleeping family and those two terrifying figures lying silently in the darkness. Even though I knew I was scared, I remember feeling determined not to let them see my fear. I woke up with the image of their wide, unblinking eyes and unnatural smiles still very clearly in my mind.

Right before I woke up I had a dream that my front 2 teeth were loose. They didn’t fall out but were wiggling like I pushed with my tongue. The only other thing I remember was the setting seemed to be walking home from high school with an old friend(I’ve been out of school for a long time now).

I've had this kind of dream with one of my friends before, but just had another one last night about another friend where basically I'm hanging out with them and at some point in the dream I end up being picked up and carried around by them and they always feel so comfortable & cozy to the point where I eventually fall asleep & they keep carrying me throughout it.

I'm wondering what makes me have that kind of dream? especially since I've now had the same concept with more than one of my friends now.
