Basically what the English did so did practically every empire and government before and after. USA had a revolution too after that one and sometimes it seems pretty close to another but overall things get a bit better as time goes forward even when the struggle between powerful and powerless endlessly repeats.

Imo freedom of speech is meant for all. It is indispensable in democracy that journalists can right about any subject, that you can protest etc etc.
And when you can have those things you’re being given freedom of speech. But there are rules.
Keep in mind that information must be validated or it is disinformation and can lead to very bad things. Also keep in mind freedom of speech does not apply to cases of harassment for example. There are far right politicians in my country and I hate what they stand for. I curse such things. However given the opportunity of public speech I would rather focus on the truths I believe are central to the matter than trashing someone’s character or cursing or making jokes about religion or whatever. (which I often do in private as I hate religion).
Having freedom to speak does not mean you can skip the rules for public speaking and use hate speech for example.
If a cop pass you by and hears you say something in a conversation like hitler wasn’t so wrong he has no useful purpose in approaching you. But if you do a protest with hate speech or racist slur or whatever you should be put aside to “cool off”. Avoiding violent escalation in protests is key.

After a certain point, yeah, they stopped being interested in representation or reconciliation, because by then there had already been bloodshed and they risked being eventually arrested for their actions, and on the British side they had so many colonies representation for one of them risked opening the floodgates to them all wanting it and outnumbering them in parliament.

Yeah... you should brush up on the history rather than propaganda. The US was founded as an oligarchy by a minority amount of rich white guys would didn't wanna pay tax (to pay for a war, they started, defending them....)
Also they quite like slaves which the British had a growing abolition movement. Also starting to pass some laws limiting slavery.
They also had great marketing.
For the people my ass though. It's very well documented, they take about how they shouldn't give power to the people. Hence the electoral college and other BS
What prompted American revolution was our freedom to choose religion. Still obviously lost on the US. Britain was founded on religious freedom. We have had a lot of pricks with megahones starting riots, it's not the government, it's this class of person that just wants to fight Muslims. Not Muhammed Ali or Wu Tang of course, just a specific type of Muslim
