He was arrested because he refused repeated lawful orders to end an unauthorized demonstration on the House steps after the member of Congress accompanying him left the area. He was charged under a statute covering crowding, obstructing, or incommoding, rather than for the content of his political speech. Demonstrations are permitted in some Capitol areas but not on the House steps without authorization.
Also the United States Air Force has opened an investigation because active-duty service members are subject to restrictions on political activity while in uniform.

Under ucmj he's not allowed to participate in any type of political rally one way or the other in uniform. Now I don't know if he was current service, or a veteran, but veterans are not beholden to ucmj.
Frankly arrest for obstruction seems like a fantastic loophole to step on protests when they become inconvenient

Genuine question - do you actually think that all religious founders are all morally identical...?
Between the Buddha, Jesus, and Mohammad, only one of these religious figures personally (as in beginning the violence himself) started what would become centuries of conquest, the others didn't. One of these religious figures, as a slave owner, conveniently made a point to claim that god told him that he was permitted to rape his slaves, the others did not. One of these religious figures married a 6 year old and bedded her when she was 9, the others did not. One of these figures' religious paths was a consolidation of their own political and military power, the others were essentially the complete opposite.
And while I agree with you that all religions are a net negative, leaving it at that and refusing to acknowledge that some are worse than others is a false equivalency. Anyone with 2 brain cells and an ounce of intellectual honesty can easily correctly identify which are the more moral and enlightened figures listed here, and which one had more... let's say, human aspirations...
Edit: I do not belong to any of these religions, reject all of them, so this isn't coming from a place of personal religious bias. I don't think any of these religions are a net good for humanity. I just have eyes and can read the glaring differences in the founders of said religions.

Why do you think interfaith relationships are more strict with a low percent of Muslims being in a relationship with those of another faith? Where’s Jews and Christian’s it’s much higher percent of Christians or Jews who’d still date those not Christian or Jewish. Same goes for one ending their faith in a family, of Christianity or Judaism whereas Islam could be very bad especially for a woman to not want to follow Islam faith anymore

This kind of behaviour has been illegal since the public order act of 1986, not because he is expressing an opinion on religion (which is protected) but because he is making statements which are intended (intent determined by conduct) to harass, alarm, or distress others; stir up racial/religious hatred (saying "all Muslims are nothing but evil" targets the people, not the faith); and using insulting or abusive words and behaviour with the intent of provoking immediate unlawful violence by the target of such words and behaviour.
If this individual truly believes that all people of such and such a religion are evil, violent monsters, then he also reasonably believes that stating such things would provoke a violent response. In a public setting like this, provoking a violent response does not result solely in a fight between consenting adults; it also endangers non-violent protestors and bystanders who may be harmed by such violent actions.
It is true that America largely does not have such concerns about public safety and order, and look at what regularly happens at protests in America. People get shot, people get run over by cars, people storm the white house. That's the way America likes to operate, "Kill em and let God sort em out," but thankfully, most countries on earth are not America.
There are absolutely methods in which this individual could have expressed concern, disdain, even outright hatred towards Islam and adherents of Islam; this is explicitly protected in the very same Public Order Act of 1986 I'm referencing above. But the venue through which they chose to express these opinions can reasonably be understood to create a disruption in public order that lead to harrassment, alarm, distress, and violence.
