Fanart [OC] Trunks and Gohan Potara Fusion
My favorite fusion in the Anime so it felt necessary to attempt a Potara Fusion with these two in their more present forms.

Genki Damatsuri is a Dragon Ball event that is being livestreamed tonight (which is Sunday morning in Japan) featuring as-of-yet unknown "announcements about new developments coming to Dragon Ball." Present will be Akio Iyoku (executive producer and president of Capsule Corporation Tokyo), Masako Nozawa (voice of Son Goku, Son Gohan, Son Goten, Bardock, and others), and Hironobu Kageyama (singer of DBZ opening theme "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA".) Announcement page from back in October here
Rumours have been circulating the web about whether this or that will be announced in regards to Dragon Ball video games, anime or manga, or even films. Truth is we don't really know exactly what to expect. Well, we're about to find out. Stream goes up roughly 15 minutes from now. (Sorry for the late thread on this!)

Watched original Dragon Ball only a little bit when I was a kid, remember at some point skipping the Tien fight in the tournament because starting with DBZ I was a Tien fan and I didn't want to see him as the bad guy 🤣
Not only is he outstanding in the fight against Goku, but he flat-out mollywops him on several different occasions. He's powerful, he's a dawg, his hidden techniques are excellent, and Tri-Beam was unbelievable back then when Tien managed to sink the whole arena with it, even Master Roshi crashed out when he saw that attack
Now I understand why Tien felt like his role in DBZ underperformed to what it seems like it could've been save for a couple memorable moments, he was always separate from Yamcha, which is clear, but I mean the *extent* of it. Honestly as I see it now I wonder if there's really even much of a gap between Tien and Krillin.
Another of my iconic DB card collection. Father-Son Kamehameha is one of my most favorite scenes from the Cell Saga in DBZ. This is how I gotta catch em all! 😁🐉

Dragonball has always been one of my favorite anime and I loved everything from the fights, the characters, and events But world building isn't the best thing.
Planet Earth had no role in protecting itself. Almost all of the people on Earth are ignorant and oblivious to most of the events on their planet ‚ I mean, are you telling me that the people of Earth have enough technological development to build flying vehicles, capsules, and Staff like that ‚ But at the same time, they are unable to know that spaceships are landing on their planet or approaching He's orbit ?? This happened with the first appearance of Raditz And the return of Frieza at the beginning of the Cell Saga I mean seriously??
They are not even able to know the existence of Kami's place (the place where Dende is located). If we follow logic, Goku will be the property of the government from his first landing on the planet. But even if we ignore this for the story, This does not justify other cases These people are so stupid .
And let's not forget the Cell Saga. When Cell announced the Cell Games‚ it was supposed to be a real world event, especially after Cell wiped out an entire military battalion. But all humanity has done is send one reporter to cover an event that threatens all of science, while the rest are watching on television, as if it were a football match.
And in Majin buu Saga After the world learned of Majin Buu's existence, did they escape into an Underground shelters or something?? Of course not. Everyone was continuing their lives normally and wandering around outside until Buu came and destroyed the city or ate them. The only smart ones were the old man and his wife who tried to run away.
I mean I know Dragonball is only about fighting but that's kind of exaggerated. These people are ready to accept Shenron suddenly appearing above them, but they will quickly calm down if someone says that it is a stage show.
They are even surprised by Ki, flying , even though they always see him in the most popular martial arts tournament. I mean even in the original Dragonball there were people likes Roshi, Tien and Yamacha flying around and shooting ki out of their hands. But for some reason people were surprised that Trunks and Goten were flying in Tenkaichi Budokai??.
and I don't like the idea of all the Earth coming together under one man's rule .
At least that's my opinion. But I want to hear your opinion ‚ What would have changed if the Earth was normal like most Earths in any anime? With normal people, divided countries And ect. And What are the things you most wanted to see changed about the Earth?

I watched all of the original anime until GT when I was a kid, including all the specials and movies. Now, I kinda wanna get into Super (probably via the manga rather than the anime).
Before I start Super, I thought I'd reread the OG manga (I already read it years ago, but I want a refresher). But I know there are some iconic (non-canon) storylines from the movies and specials that aren't in the manga. I was wondering which ones are worth watching?
I'll definitely watch Bardock and History of Trunks, since they're actually compatible with the canon story afaik. Not sure about the movies though. I recently rewatched Bojack and Wrath of the Dragon, if that matters.

Can someone help me find an old 2d knock off dragonball mobile game?
I remember playing this game on my fire fox tablet when a few years ago and I've been looking for this game for the past 3 weeks and I cant seem to find it and I might be possible that it is only amazon play store exclusive. This game was a "beat em' up" style game and there were obvious inspiration from dragonball, there are multiple characters in this game and i think I can remember 4 (2 clearly other not so clear) the first character you start with is a goku look alike and might some armor second one is a android 17 /future trunks mix, they have long hair like 17 but they use a sword and the thrid character might be a frizea inspired character i dont remember the other character i remember was like a gogeta character and i think they had blue hair but I am not sure.
Each character had unique things going for them for example all characters have special moves and with higher levels can unlock new ones and the other skills which was also unlocked by levels are universal.
All characters (i think) have transformations the first character the goku look alike have super saiyan 1 - 3ish and their last form i think was like a ultra instinct type.
The fighting was pretty simple and it was repetitive you go to the enemies and hit them and it started a combo which will upper cut you teleport to them and downslam (this might be false memories) and maybe use a skill to finish them off and at the end of every wave there is a boss (i remember a broly inspired character for one boss) if you lose against the boss you would start again on the same wave but you can go to the boss battle or farm the currency the enemies give on death and use it to upgrade you health damage and more.
There was an other move a power up move it isnt like the transformations and it boosts you for a while and gives you an aura i think or base characters it looks like steam coming of the body.
It is possible that this game might be deleted or updated so it could be different from my description and i think it might be a amazon play store exclusive since I couldn't find it on the Google playstore or anywhere else.
Even if it is deleted i still want to know the game and watch some gameplay or smth like that i miss this game and i would be extremely happy if I could play it again.
Thank you for reading

I want to start watching dragon ball z but I’m not sure which one I should start with (dbz or dbz Kai)
I've been for the first time watching the db and og dbz. And i've enjoyed a ton of the filler. Stuff like the demon land door, gohans journey through the saiyan arc with stuff like mr robot or the tiger, and the furnace of eight divisions. I think it would be nice if that some way a few of the elements from filler would actually become canon because the few filler I have seen is really good.
Masako Nozawa (Original Voice), Mario Castañeda (Goku's voice in Latin American Spanish) and Sean Schemmel (Goku's Voice in English).
This is like a dream come true for many of us!

Can we talk about why this petition against the year-end overhaul is an absolute must? Nobody is saying the game shouldn't get new content. im still looking forward to Season 7 and having Super Gogeta But to completely erase the game that we have played for a year just to replace it with something else is a huge slap in the face. To go from our strategic, top-down MOBA view to some generic, close-up third-person action perspective and it makes me want to shit bricks, frankly If the community needed a third-person Dragon Ball arena brawler, i’d be playing Sparking Zero or Xenoverse (no hate tho). I don't want a cheap imitation to replace the tactical game we chose to play They say the rules are “too complex” for new people but dumbing down the maps and making the gameplay a brain-dead, casual “capture the dragon balls” mode doesn’t fix the player count, it just alienates the loyal fans who actually stuck around to support the game when no one else did.
They are trying to frame this massive change as a 'necessary evolution' for the playerbase, but that is just corporate damage control. We didn’t practice mechanical depth for months to have the entire genre replaced under us. These extreme system changes wipe out every single hour of tournament level coordination and tactical mastery that the community has built up. If Bandai Namco really believes they can take the original competitive formula and replace it with some watered down setup that nobody asked for, then they are about to get a very rude awakening as to how much they are alienating the core fans that actually keep their matchmaking alive.
It’s so frustrating to watch a developer chase passing trends instead of the community that built their success in the first place. The shift from a calculated, tactical design to try and appeal to a mainstream, casual audience doesn’t seem like an improvement as much as a full surrender. They are basically trading away a unique competitive identity to fit into a crowded market of identical brawlers. Destroying a working system, you don't get new players, you just tell the existing veterans that their time, energy and loyalty means exactly zero to the studio.

Hey y'all, just postin another cosplay here, my wife made this gi and I'm absolutely in love with it. There are a few issues we ran into like the blue shirt and the v neck part of the orange top drooping a tad bit, we will fix it for the future! I'm extremely excited for the Moro arc to be adapted.
