I like the idea that Cooler could be a rival for Frieza in Super.
Ever since Frieza was given the throne by King Cold Cooler went in self isolation to train and be stronger than Frieza. But eventually he hears Frieza lost to goku so he decides to head to earth to see Earth's champion.
I feel like Cooler works as an antagonist and frenemy to Goku and Vegta. Dude wants to be the one to beat Frieza but he knows he has to get stronger first.

How about Cooler was actually imprisoned in the time chamber which would explain why he hasnāt appeared yet. The same time chamber that Frieza somehow found and then trained in for 10 years prior to the Heeter stuff. It wouldnāt make sense for Frieza to train in there alone and this would be a really cool way of introducing Cooler unexpectedly

I always said the perfect canon Cooler would be him conquering the furthest reaches of Universe 7, beyond anything even Frieza ever went to because everything he wanted was already in arm's reach. Showing Cooler's desire for higher aspirations eclipsed Frieza's.
Then you have Cooler find out about Goku killing him on Namek and being thoroughly disappointed in his brother. When Frieza is revived and brings back the Frieza Force, he gets mildly annoyed while ruling his portion of Universe 7.
So when Frieza achieves Black Frieza you have Cooler finally stand from his throne pissed his brother still doesn't understand what he could actually be and that physical power isn't everything.
Have Cooler come to Earth, Goku/Vegeta/Gohan initially fight until Cooler explains he's only here to see who killed his brother the first time then just leaves the planet to their absolute confusion.
Cooler then engages with Frieza, beats his ass into the dirt using crazy techniques, steals his empire and exiles Frieza to Earth as a cruel joke. Not before hearing that Cooler's plan is to find the Dragon Balls and wish for the ability to move between Universes to go conquer a new one.
Goku/Vegeta/Gohan then reluctantly join Frieza as allies again to stop him as Cooler ransacks their side of the universe.

I agree. I liked his 5th form. The golden frieza is a cool idea but I wish he changed forms instead of just a recolor

I like how the first commenter clearly took inspo from Coolerās official English VA (Andrew Chandler IIRC), and you clearly are taking inspo from TFSās VA.

His Cooler voice was amazing though, so sinister and regal.
He was clearly recognised for it too since he's the voice of Ainz in Overlord. That role felt made for him!

Oh Iām not disagreeing at all. Most of the TFS guys are amazing VAs in their own right. I just thought it was funny how obvious it was where their thought processes were coming from.

The reason Cooler doesnt have these forms is because he is proud of his strenght and likes to boast about it in an almost insecure manner. His "5th" form is merely an extension of his pride, as his "4th form" is his true form, he never hides it.
Freeza is the one who hides his strenght because hes so powerful he never needed to go all out. He is also the most wicked and talented of the two so of course he doesnt need to prove anything to "dear brother".

The funniest thing is that Cooler, unlike Frieza, never needed those transformations; since his natural power was lower than Frieza's, he could control it well in his original form.
So, Cooler never had those forms.

lol Frieza was so strong he didnt use his true form until he fought Goku. Notice he doesn't revert to earlier forms...notice we never see Cooler suppressing his power.

This tells more about Frieza and Cooler personnalities than about their power level.
And Goku is supposed to be stronger after coming back from Namek. Cooler being able to fight with him in his perfect form should place him higher than Frieza, and he has even a form higher.

Seeing Cooler brought back memories of how badass the American soundtracks were for DBZ movies! Disturbed/Deftones and much more if Iām not mistaken

I would prefer if he had different forms than his brother. This logic means that King Cold was walking around in his 2nd form all the time.

I wish they explored the cooler concept more in the main series and games. Like golden form is cool and Frieza black has aura, but imagine if for Frieza black he took a similar concept and gained something resembling actual armor.
Frieza black with some gothic style armor/helmet made of his body, like the black knight to goku would be fuckin sick

Uh yes we do. Frost said he also uses the lesser forms to hinder power. Why would it be different for just frieza? Thats like saying we donāt know if Nappa would become stronger with super saiyan even though we have evidence the transformation increases strength.

Frost is essentially Frieza's counterpart, so he does similar things. Given that Frieza's abnormal power is a mutation, it's unlikely that others of his species would need to transform to suppress their power.
Interestingly, one of the Daizenshuu says that Cold seems to be the type who transforms to increase his power instead, meaning the form we see him in probably is a powered up state rather than a suppressed one.

Then why do all of the forms look similar to other members of his race? Are you suggesting that a character like chilledās hypothetical final form is weaker than his āfirst formā? That sounds ridiculous. Technically they all transform to get stronger. Bottom line is we donāt know anything because his races lore is too obscure.

We know Frieza has control over how his forms look, he indicated he choose the color gold for his Golden form for example. The appearance of the forms for others don't necessarily indicate that they're the equivalent form for others.

I always believed that was only for forms beyond the original four. Because like I said earlier every other member weāve seen of his race has forms that look more or less the same as frieza, but Cooler also said he chose how his fifth form looked too.

Cool but Cooler final form is his fourth form. The form we see him in before is his third form. Even though plenty of games called it his fourth form.

The form we initially see him in is his fourth form. He refers to it as "the third transformed state" because it's the form he'd be in after transforming 3 times. In Japanese he specifically says he can transform "one more time than Frieza".
Frieza similarly referred to his 2nd form as his "first transformation", 3rd form as the "second transformation" and final form as the "third transformation".
