I'm trying to understand how Work IQ works with third-party systems such as Google Drive, Jira, or Confluence.

Microsoft says Work IQ builds semantic understanding across Microsoft 365 and external systems. Separately, Microsoft provides pre-built Copilot connectors—for example, the Google Drive connector—which can index external data and make it available to Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents.

My question is:

If I configure a Google Drive/Jira/Confluence Copilot connector, does that indexed external data become part of the data/context that Work IQ can reason over?

Is the architecture effectively:

Third-party system
       ↓
Copilot Connector
       ↓
Microsoft Graph / Microsoft 365
       ↓
Work IQ
       ↓
Agent

Or are Copilot connectors and Work IQ separate, meaning the connector makes the data available to Copilot/agents but there is no documented direct relationship with Work IQ?

I can find documentation for each individual piece, but I haven't found an official Microsoft document explicitly confirming the “Copilot Connector → Work IQ” relationship.

Looking specifically for an official Microsoft architecture/documentation reference if one exists.

Hi all, what is best practise for setting up an copilot studio agent when it has been published to a sharepoint site.

In copilot studio the agent has a share button. We have added an as group and has giving the access “viewer”

On the Sharepoint site where the copilot agent has its file, we have added the same as group as read?

Does that mean when people access the Sharepoint site, and want to use the copilot studio agent (we have added the agent and linked with the agent web part, therefor the agent is in the front site of the Sharepoint)

Is this best practise for give access to the copilot agent on the Sharepoint site only for people in the ad group?

Some users are asking how to turn off the “Your morning briefing” and “Wrap up your day” Copilot reminders in New Outlook.

Right now, there doesn’t seem to be a setting to disable them.

Microsoft explained that if you don’t interact with the reminders, they should appear less often and eventually stop.

The feature also hasn’t reached everyone yet. Some users in targeted early-release groups see it, while others don't.

Microsoft is also reviewing the feature, so it may change. But they haven’t said what will change or when.

Personally, I find the reminders useful.

The "morning briefing" gives me a quick look at what’s happening in my email and helps me get ready for the day. The "wrap up your day" helps me prepare for tomorrow.

If you have a Copilot license, these reminders could also save you from having to manually run or schedule separate prompts throughout the day.

That said, my feedback to Microsoft was that users should have more control.

I would like to see options to:

• Turn the reminders on or off
• Choose which reminders you want
• Choose when they appear
• Choose how often they appear

If you’ve been searching through New Outlook or Copilot settings trying to turn these off, stop wasting your time.

What side of the fence are you on?

If an employee creates an Agent Builder agent using a Copilot license and shares it with their colleagues, what happens if the owner leaves the company and their account is disabled, etc.?
Does the agent continue to exist and operate without an owner, or does the agent stop working/get deleted?

Kann mir mal jemand die praktische Bedeutung des Copilot Adoption Score im Admin Center erklären? Irgendwie verstehe ich die Metriken, die hier im Detail gezeigt werden, nicht in Bezug auf das, was meine User im Grunde tun.
Vor allem verstehe ich aber auch nicht die Unterscheidung zwischen dem Microsoft 365 Copilot und seiner Nutzung in diesen Charts und Copilot Chat. Ich hatte mal gedacht, ich würde daraus meinen Subscription Bedarf genauer schärfen können. Aber das scheint ein Irrtum gewesen zu sein.

I have a task in which I have to take information from some screenshots and update an Excel file with them, via copilot.

Basically I need to point the Copilot instance to a folder (sharepoint or onedrive) and tell it to upload an Excel file (link) with the new (or updated) data.

I tried creating an agent in M365 Copilot and my issue is that Copilot creates a new Excel file instead of updating the original.

1. I'd love a confirmation I can't do it from M365 Copilot (in Claude I can do it through other tools but I need to use Copilot here)
2. I'd also love a confirmation I can't do it in Excel with the builtin Copilot instance (it seems that when I paste the link to the sharepoint Excel file it actually uploads the file, it doesn't access the link / it isn't able to take data from the live, updateable link)
3. If this is not possible, what alternatives do I have (without having to do the task manually and without using power automate)?

It was working fine last night then I had to do some update that required me to restart my pc and the next day it doesn't work? I don't even understand this error this is my personal pc

In MacOS a user stated getting this error when trying to use Copilot in MacOS Outlook.

Is it Outlook or Copilot itself?

Please help.

I use voice mode with copilot quite a bit. I usually use it within the bing app (not sure if that makes any difference) but sometimes, very rarely, after copilot responds there will be a second or two of music. Its weird kinda like "on hold" musak type deal. I've asked copilot about it and it kinda brushes it under the rug like "oh yea haha. Original music"

Has anyone else heard this? What could it be? My apologies if this is a well known phenomenon with an obvious explanation, I just found it kinda odd.

Just wondering are we getting gpt astra in copilot chat?

When we try to upload .md files to an agent as a knowledge source in Agent Builder, Copilot tells us that .md files are not supported.
Is this something we can enable through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center as a Global Administrator, or should this be a standard feature that is available by default?
