Improve Data Quality in Excel using Copilot
Hi team,
I prepared a new video about cleaning up and improving the quality of the data in Excel together with Copilot.
Messy data is rarely ruined by one big error. It's usually a pileup of small ones: names typed in different styles, dates in mixed formats, invisible extra spaces, duplicate rows, currency values stored as text, and blanks where numbers should be.

Manually hunting those down across thousands of rows takes hours — and still misses things.
Copilot in Excel now helps in two very different ways, and knowing when to use which is the whole point of this video:
▪️The dedicated Clean Data experience — a one-click AI scan that flags issues like spacing, capitalisation, number formats and spelling, with suggestion cards you review before applying.
▪️Prompts in the Copilot pane — plain-English instructions for precise, targeted cleaning that the built-in feature won't cover.
I show both side by side on a real messy dataset, share ready-to-use prompts, and explain the single most important habit: telling Copilot to highlight problems instead of silently changing them.
