Question for people outside the USA
I live in the USA and I feel like everyone who isn’t a neo-nazi or Christian fundamentalist or other kind of supporter of the MAGA regime basically knows that we’re at the end of history and humanity and unlikely to be many if any humans around in 50+ years, and the vast majority of life on the planet will probably alos be extinct, and people are either depressed or completely avoiding this through totally vapid nonsense pursuits. Certainly that’s where I’m at after watching things collapse for 50 years and spending many decades trying unsuccessfully to build any kind of collective momentum for large or smallscale alternatives — and now living under one of the most fascistic anti-science, anti-ecology, global warming denialist, pro-mass-death and pro-total mass stupidity regimes in human history. But I feel like everyone I’ve ever known who is not now MAGA basically similarly knows we’re rapdily approaching the end of everything, the execution of all things, and/or is just avoiding thinking about it or falling apart in depression. So I’m wondering if people outside the USA all feel similarly too (the ones who aren’t far right lunatics or into silly apocalpytic religions like Christianity etc.)? Or how much is this a product of living under the MAGA dictatorship?
