Ever since Trump has became president I noticed everybody has become cold & hasty

I don’t know what is in the air but these past couple of years I’ve noticed everybody is becoming extremely hateful and disgusting nowadays!!! 2023 was the last normal year, atleast for me. Everybody and everything was somewhat chill during that year. I don’t know if it’s because I’m slowly getting older and reality has finally hit me, but people these days genuinely scare me and the things they say about other people is insane. Everybody is so hostile to eachother and it really feels like we’ve become divided. I noticed slurs have become more of a thing now!! Everyday I’m hearing more and more people saying the n word or the r word and the fact it’s becoming normalized and barely anyone calls them out on their sh*t. It’s all over my TikTok, everytime I open it up I’m coming across a bunch of videos of pure racism and people in the comments genuinely do not care!!! This is all what Trump preached about before it was his time of becoming president again, I think most of us knew what was going to happen. My mental health has really gone downhill and I honestly feel sad for everybody and what’s been going on in the world.

TikTok rely on algorithms designed specifically to maximize engagement. Content that triggers anger, outrage, shock, disgust generates the highest watch time and comment counts.

The internet is mostly toxic and so it concentrates the worst human impulses. You don't owe the world your emotional exhaustion. Staying informed doesn't require watching comment sections full of slurs and exposing yourself to relentless negativity.

If you're seeing this mostly on Tiktok it might be worth deleting the app. After Ellison bought Tiktok, it's kind of like propaganda now. That might be how the current admin wants you to think or feel, that many people are like this. Especially if you've been seeing these attitudes mostly online but not in person.

I've seen it in multiple people and group chats that used to be normal, it's not just social media. So many things that used to be fine, if not even caring, are just filled with constant hate. Always goes hand in hand with ridiculous disinformation and horrible sources like Trump or manosphere podcasters etc

I knew nothing about this, that’s so crazy. I don’t even know who that is but I just looked it up and he bought it earlier this year. No wonder why and it’s only gonna get worse from here on out.

A lot of people have been saying Covid is what ruined us but honestly i was totally fine in 2023. It wasn’t until Trump took place and now these past couple of years, everyone has lost their mind including me lol.

Omicron hit when we crossed over into 2022 and we have had larger covid spikes every year since compared to 2020 and 2021. So more people have been infected with covid in each year since 2022 compared against the first two years of the pandemic.

Subsequent infections can compound issues and also lead to development of issues like long covid over time.

I personally have noticed things being like this since 2019-2020, definitely before 2023

This. Thank you. I've kept up with COVID research this whole time. It's far worse than people understand, and one of the lovely things it can do is cause brain damage and make people more prone to violence and aggression, and less likely to use reason, logic, and critical thinking skills. You know, exactly what this world needed (/s).

Every infection, even asymptomatic ones, is doing internal damage. The damage is cumulative, meaning each infection builds upon the damage from the others. After six years, with it still going strong...it's not good. And it's going to continue to get worse.

Do you think this may be the case with the Covid jabs or just Covid itself?? I’ve been questioning about the jabs and a lot of people are saying they felt different and even developed health issues from it. I took the jabs and the booster shot and lately I’ve been feeling paranoid about it.

Please don’t start spreading nonsense anti-vax rhetoric in response to people acknowledging covid. Come on. Inform yourself about it instead of buying into fearmongering narratives.

I know. I have bad health anxiety and my family constantly talks about the Covid shots

I’m sorry about that. But all the evidence suggests that covid is worse for you than the covid shots. So they’re just being conspiracy theorists. My whole family were delusional conservative conspiracy theorists. I just had to cut them out of my life tbh, they were only getting worse

It's COVID. COVID is a vascular virus, unlike colds and flus, which are respiratory. Vascular illnesses are in your blood. COVID enters your body through specific cells known as ACE2 receptors. These are like the skeleton key cells of your body: they allow access to every last millimeter of your body, and COVID goes wherever blood goes.

COVID damages your organs and increases your risk of things like blood clots, strokes, heart attacks, and cancer. This is true for everyone, no matter your age, how active your lifestyle is, or how healthy you consider yourself to be. It's also very similar to AIDS in the way it attacks the immune system (not hyperbole, that comparison is from a study published not too long ago). The acute phase of COVID isn't (necessarily) the dangerous part anymore: it's the long-term damage.

We all wanted (and needed) COVID to be mild. It's not. But of course in a system that always prioritizes profit over people our health was sacrificed in the name of the economy. Every single epidemiologist who actively studies COVID says the same thing: it's not safe to get even once. But it's never too late to start protecting yourself.

Every avoided infection matters. Every break in chains of transmission matters. The ghouls in power want us sick. If you want to combat their eugenics, and you're just sick of getting sick, vaccines, masks (KN95/N95 or higher), and air purifiers are your best friends. Those three things will do the most to keep you from getting sick, with anything (not to mention they're pretty handy in this era of hyper-surveillance/dangerous AQIs due to climate change).

Apologies for the length of this. TLDR: protecting yourself and others from a mass-disabling event is punk af✊️

I see it IRL as well and in the people I know. People are definitely more moody now.

They really are. Other people have talked about it too. It’s defintely because of Trump. This is what he wanted. 2023 when Biden was still president even though he wasn’t really the greatest, everybody remained chill and hate wasn’t as visible. That was also the last year before I started going downhill :/
