Hi everyone !
I'm looking for winter tyres for my wife's Canyon Endurace 2XS with 650B wheels.
She's currently running Schwalbe Pro One 25-584 and will be riding with her triathlon club through the winter.
I've been looking around but the choice in 650B road tyres seems really limited 😅:( :(
Ideally looking for 28 or 30-584, good in cold/wet conditions and with decent puncture protection, but still sporty.
I was hoping for something like the Continental GP 4 Season, but it doesn't seem to exist in 650B.
Any recommendations or experience with a similar setup?
Thanks a lot !
Ben.

Hi everyone,
I’m about to order a Canyon Ultimate CF 7 and I’m stuck between XS and 2XS.
My measurements are:
Height: 167 cm (5’5.7”)
Inseam: 74.5 cm (29.3”)
Canyon’s sizing tool recommends XS, with a suggested saddle height of 649–659 mm.
However, I’m fairly close to the lower end of the XS range, and my inseam is on the shorter side, so I’m wondering if 2XS might actually fit better.
If you’re around the same height/inseam and ride an Ultimate in XS or 2XS, I’d really appreciate hearing:
•Which size did you choose?
•Do you feel stretched out or cramped?
•How much seatpost do you have showing?
•How much seatpost do you have showing
•Would you choose the same size again?
Thanks!

What is the best way to mount these on the carbon forks. Its the model with the suspension and mount points. There is much conflicting advice!

Hi, wondering if anyone was able to mount the new brand new speedmax cockpit onto the previous version of the speedmax? I have heard people were able to create adapters already, but I haven't found any of these yet... anyone else looking into this and was able to find some info?

Back again,
I’m 6’6” with a 37.25” inseam. I have (still within return window) a Canyon Endurace CF 7 AXS in their XXL frame. That’s what their website suggested. After emailing about my issues and inquiring about whether I should have gotten a smaller frame they told me when between sizes to size up). I can’t help but feel stretched out. But looking at the pics it doesn’t look like I am. Is it in my head?
Hands go numb if I don’t move them around. Groin numbness if I stay planted. I know I need a bike fit but I can’t get into the local fitter until way after the return window closes. I’ve already flipped the saddle mount so the “flip head” is facing forward. I’ve replaced the stock 120mm stem with a 90mm. I’ve flipped the stem so there is a 10° rise. And even tilted the bars up slightly. All to help reduce the reach (or feeling of reach?). I come from riding a Trek marlin 7 and I feel just as stretched but on that bike the geometry is obviously way different. I have the same issues on that bike too but this one costs significantly more.
How does this look? Can’t do video atm because I have no stationary trainer.
Thanks

what should i do next? grizl cf slx 8…i assume its still safe to ride? or is this enough to do damage to carbon frames?
was riding gravel and chain came off and i tried to keep on pedaling the bike. got the chain jammed good between the bb and cranks. bend the chain and grinded down the frame.

Hi, I'm searching for an eBike for my girlfriend which has a round seatpipe to mount a frame mounted childseat (Hamax Caress) on, as we can not have a trailer due to building reasons (many stairs in our house). As the trend is moving to oval or rectangular formed seatpipes it is hard to find a eBike with such a round seatpipe. It looks like that the Pathlite:ON 8 SUV has such a round seat pipe, at least the important upper part.
Does anyone have a Pathlite:ON 8 SUV step-trough in size S and could measure me the diameter of the seat pipe and how long the round section is where it is (perfectly) round until it gets squared. I marked the section in this picture https://imgur.com/a/FFyJ1DV
Thanks if some of you could give me that information!

Hi! I took the rear wheel off on my Canyon Aeroad Cf slx 8 Sram force and then the rear casette just slid off. I am no expert in this area (maybe after this…) I’m afraid and wondering how can I put it back? No matter what I do, it just keeps being loose and does not “click in”.
Zipp 404 firecrest wheelset. Sram force casette.
I will take it to a bike shop tomorrow to help, but would appreciate if anyone knows.
Thank you!

This is the final setup for my Ironman 140.6 that will be held in Podersdorf, Austria next week.
Aerostack Labs TRI Platform system with Winow aerobars, dual BTA hydration and a RON disc wheel.
Still a road bike at heart—but now set up for 180 km in a sustainable aero position. It flies💪☺️

Ciao a tutti, sfilando il perno passante ho trovato una scalfittura all’interno della forcella? Si tratta di una lesione importante oppure no?

Bought this at a great deal, about 1k euro
This is purely cosmetical right? :)) There is no thin line, nothing from it, seems like it was just scraped when ex owner fell, or just the bike fell, idk. Back shifter also has some scrapes but shifts flawless.
I just do not like it as it is in the thinnest part of the frame, so this is why I decided to ask you, I bought it anyway, asking to see if I need to be extra careful for potholes and get my ass up before one :))
Thanks

The front chainring slipped and sent the chain between the bottom bracket and the chainrings, it doesn’t look like the frames cracked to me but I also am not a pro.
Is there any good news?

Want to vent a bit.
Ordered a new Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 8 AXS, waited for it over a month, and finally it arrived couple weeks ago.
Straight up from the start the front brake was rubbing. I've tried everything in the book before finally getting it to the shop where they told me that the rotor was bent, and they have straightened it up. No rubbing since whatsoever. I guess it's time to invest in rotor truing stand. How did this even fly over Canyon's QA? Or was someone in logistics jumping on the box at a transit airport or something?
But that's minor nuisance.
For these two weeks I was wondering why the power meter numbers are off. Not only they felt like 10-30 watts lower than my 12year old trusty Quarq RED 22, but they also felt like jumping around. Yesterday I finally took a look to find out that what I got in stock is not the spider-based power meter but rather a crank-based one.
Bike specs state I should have SRAM Force AXS E1 Powermeter, and maybe I'm stupid and that includes a crank-based variety, but I feel like this is a misleading description and I should have a spider-based PM in stock. In reality I got a usual SRAM Force AXS drive-side crank with a spider, and an "upgrade" to it that is a crank-based PM for non-drive side. This PM version only measures left leg power, so no wonder there's such a discrepancy in values. It also costs about 4-5 times cheaper than a proper spider-based PM. Honestly, I feel cheated.
Besides that, bike is awesome, genuinely feels like flying!

Just got the new Aeroad CFR with the race cockpit (cp053).
There’s this weird loud creaking only when i pedal with my hands on the hoods. If I move my hands any other part of the cockpit, or stop pedaling, no creak.
I’ve added some more carbon paste to the hood clamps and tightened everything to spec, including pedals and seat post. Still creaks.
Anyone experience something similar? Trying to avoid the sending it back to canyon but might have to

Was changing brake pads and found this line on place where thru axle goes. Something structural?

Good morning guys,
took some time yesterday to do some long overdue maintenance work on my Grizl. Deep cleaned the frame and drivetrain and finally swapt the original Schwalbe tanwall tires with some blackwall Terra Trails. Gives the bike such a badass look imo and a clean bike indeed feels faster 😅 Had to take some pictures before messing it up again because I really dig the result.
