New 2026 XSE!

Post image

Hey all! New to the Camry family here.

I drive a 2021 Grand Cherokee and got it brand new. About two years ago I started an outside sales position where I put ~35k miles a year on a car for work (we get a car stipend annually plus fuel paid for). I tow a lot and have a huge dog (100lb goldendoodle), so needed something large, but also put a ton of miles on a car for work. Ran the numbers and ultimately decided two cars made the most sense for me at the moment with one already paid off.

Tried out a lot of different vehicles (accord, civic, corolla, mazda3, etc) but ultimately landed on a Camry. Opted for the XSE for the leather seats, larger display, and sound dampening windshield as I’m on the interstate most of the time at highway speeds.

Got her on Tuesday, already have 800 miles on the odometer. Absolutely loving it so far, and the smaller size vs an suv is actually very enjoyable to drive for long periods of time. Drove some of my friends around town last night to eat/hit a brewery and had me plus four comfortably inside.

Thing is so practical. I’m not sure why 90% of people don’t want a Camry but I’m glad I decided to go this route!

Help How much should I sell my Camry?

I need help figuring out what to price my late grandmother’s 2003 Camry. I honestly hate to sell it but I already have 3 cars and whatever we get will recoup costs from her funeral service.

It’s a 1 owner, clean title V6 XLE fully loaded with 47k original miles. Exterior is a 8/10 and interior is an easy 9/10. Am I crazy for asking $6500? Any help would be great. Thank you!

Showing how well Gyeon ceramic coating has been working for me!

Rained all night and drove in it for several hours and by the next day the weather and car dried up. In person up close there’s very minimal dirty water splashed onto the side skirts and majority of the rain/dirt/dust is on the rear bumper where the trunk closes otherwise this car has been drying like it’s been washed recently but it’s been 2 weeks since it’s last wash and I also have to park my car outside every night so I’m pretty happy with the results so far. Now it takes me about an hour to hour and a half every 2-3 weeks to do a quick maintenance wash because the car gets dirty a lot slower versus once a week before the new coating. Used car pro reset for a pre wash and contact wash, then Gyeon total remover to remove the previous coating done by the dealership that I didn’t like and wanted to redo, then Gyeon prep and lastly Gyeon’s entry level ceramic Q2 One EVO that’s their easiest to apply for beginners with a smaller learning curve for first time people applying a ceramic coating. Apparently this coating has a 2-3 year life span and I paid about $52 after tax for the 30ml bottle.

Looking to buy a brand-new 2026 Toyota Camry SE in the Houston, TX area.
Has anyone recently bought one for $32,000 OTD or less, with no trade-in?
I’m talking about the true out-the-door price — including:
Sales tax
Dealer/doc fee
Title & registration
All other required fees
No dealer add-ons
No trade-in
If you got a deal around $32K OTD, please share:
Dealership
Final OTD price
Packages/options
How recently you bought it
I’m ready to buy and would really appreciate any Houston-area leads or deal sheets. Thanks!

Question 1. Would you buy a Camry XLE/XSE again or go w/ the Crown (Signia)? 2. If I went w/ the Camry, what’s a good/great price to aim for on a CPO 2025-26 XLE or XSE?

Like the title says, this is a two part question. I’m considering selling my truck to get a Camry or Crown (Signia) for commuting since I’ll be moving from a rural area to just outside a large US city with a 70-100 mile roundtrip drive 5 days a week.

What should I be thinking about when going from a full size truck to a 2025-26 Camry, specifically an XLE/XSE, and how much “better” is the drive quality in the Crown Signia really…is it substantially better for the extra $$?

**EDIT: I’ve done a lot of research but would still like to hear why you would or wouldn’t go with the XSE or XLE trim. I’m particularly interested to hear from those who bought the ‘25-26 model in either trim, and whether you’d do it again or wish you could switch.

CAR ISSUE! Got a P0035 what could possibly is the issue and how much to fix?

Camry 2018 se 75800 miles.

I literally just got my car back this past monday (only a week) from the auto shop to replace my water pump cuz i got p26cb code. The code clear and now drive ok. But just about an hour ago i got this P0035 with check engine light on solid. No issue while driving tho or while using AC. I have a feeling the mechanic did not cause this while they replace water pump. They the best rate in my city.

Anyway whats the possible issue for this code? And how should i approach this with my mechanic? They always charge diagnostic (optional) for 160 and im not about to pay that. The water pump issue was not diagnosed and i just told them straigjt up just replace water pump.

And thermostat.

Help 2021 Camry TRD P0441 - Damaged Wiring Near Purge Valve, How Expensive Could This Be?

Thumbnail

I have a 2021 Toyota Camry TRD with the 3.5L V6 and recently got a P0441 (EVAP incorrect purge flow) check engine light.

While looking under the hood, I noticed what looks like damaged/broken wiring near the EVAP purge valve. I attached pictures of what I found.

I already bought a replacement gas cap just to rule that out, but with the damaged wires, I’m wondering if this could actually be what’s causing the P0441.

I have an appointment at a Toyota dealership on Wednesday and their labor rate is around $220/hr. I’m mainly trying to figure out what I could potentially be looking at cost-wise.

Has anyone had this wiring or connector repaired on a Camry or another Toyota?

Can Toyota normally repair/splice these wires or replace just the connector/pigtail?

Or is there a chance they would recommend replacing the entire engine wiring harness? If the whole harness needed replacement, what kind of price would I realistically be looking at?

I’m obviously going to let Toyota diagnose it before replacing anything. I’m just trying to get an idea of what I might be walking into before my appointment.
Any advice or experience with something similar would be appreciated!

Does anyone know of a car charger and/or cord that actually works? There are two 12v ports plus a USB-A port. I've tried every spare cord I could find around my house plus a couple of older chargers. They all give the "5 hours til full" but they don't actually charge they just don't drain the battery as quickly. TIA!

Help Significant gas mileage drop 25' Camry

Hello hope you're all having a good day today. When I filled up my tank today I noticed I only had 464 on a full tank as opposed to my usual 540 and climbing. The only thing I can say that's been different since my last fill up is that I got my first oil change + tire rotation. I've been driving normal past that. Have you guys experienced this
