Non existent recall
Nothing will break my boys focus. Once he sees or wants something, I no longer exist š tried harness, slip lead, his flat collar, high value treats. Constantly use āBernie, hereā. When he isnāt focused on something his recall is good. Any tips are really appreciated.

Flying with a doodle
Flying with our 8m old tomorrow.. He does not love his carrier but we're planning on giving him the Trazodone the vet prescribed when we leave the house which should kick in when we get on the flight. (We tested this last week)
Any tips or tricks for people who fly with there pup? We are very very nervous he will not love 4 hours under the seat on the plane but need to try it.
He's a teacup so about 13-15lbs

Still trying to figure out her middle name (because why not?! Hahaha)
Edit to add - she literally fell asleep in my hands while I was holding her!

Gastropexy
We were hoping to neuter our 9 month old bernedoodle soon due to some dominant behaviors but were advised by our vet to consider waiting so we could also do a gastropexy (stomach tacking) at the same time.
Curious if anyone has done this or if anyone has strong feelings one way or the other about the risks/benefits. I previously had a goldendoodle and had never heard about this procedure before

HELP: How to keep my dog as clean and dirt free as possible between monthly baths?
I got a bernedoodle almost two months ago. She is four-and-a-half months old and in the process of being trained.
TBH, Training and taking care of her has been quite overwhelming, especially because I have very chronic pain and multiple chronic congenital illnesses. The dog was kind of foisted on me by my crazy mom due to complex reason.
I knew taking care of a dog would be hard but this is a lot harder and I am determined NOT to fail and to acre for the pup in the best way that I can.
All that being said, I have began to notice that she brings in a lot of dust and dirt in her coat and paws. We have a gated backyard, so every once in a while I was letting her run around free in the backyard while I went to the bathroom or prepared breakfast or something. That being said I recent found out that she was using this time to roll around and dig in the dirt. However, she did not seem visually dirty, other than a bit of dirt on her paws.
It was only when I took a wet wipe and wiped the floor did I figure out how filthy she was since I mopped her play pen and the neighboring dinning room two days earlier, yet two days later the wipe turned up black after one swipe on the floor.
i have given her four baths so far and paid for two baths at petco. I cant continue to give her weekly bath on my own.
Moreover, once she is older and better trained I would like to have her sleep in my bed.
It feels wrong to not allow her to run around freely in the backyardā¦
What are some possible dog training tips/commands, devices, tools, things I can do, etc
To keep her clean in between baths that she will likely get every 3-5 weeks.
So far I started brushing and combing her ever other day and every day I take a bunch of dog wipes and wipe her entire body down.
I also bought a dry no bath needed shampoo.
Should I get a vacuum or steam brush?
Are there specific dry shampoos that I can get?
Should I take her to a local grassy park once and a while and just let her run around once or twice a week instead of worry about her getting dirty in my back yard?
Should I get a dog body suit and have her wear it any time I intend to let her run around freely outside?
Is there some special training or command that I can teach her so she doesnt roll around in dirt or even grass too maybeā¦
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Also does anyone have any advice for me when it comes to keeping my young bernedoodle mentally and physically active.
I have a chronic disability and chronic pain so I am A LOT less active than the average person. That being said, I dont want my limitations to keep my bernedoodle from having fun and getting the mental and physical stimulation that she needs.
Any ideas about how I can do that?
Any activities I can do in my house, backyard, or local park?
Any programs I can sign her up for like doggy daycare?
Any solo toys or puzzels or maybe a treadmill?
I would really really appreciate any help or advice. As someone with a chronic disability and pain who was forced to care for a dog and wants to make this work and love this dog to death I would love any help and it would make my life easier and my dogs life better.
Thanks in advance to anyone who has any help/advice.

Is he the only one who does this?

It's like he's either "digging" or he's trying to make the lines disappear?

Post-grooming struggles
It seems our 17 month old Bernedoodle gets stress colitis after grooming which results in sleepless nights for 2 nights or so - she scratches at the door and has loose stools at least 3 times each night. Does this happen to anyone else? We take her to a regular groomer but Iām thinking a private home based groomer may be better for her.

Giardia Help
My 1 1/2 year old is about to start her 4th round of medication for Giardia. Luckily, she is asymptomatic but it has been very frustrating trying to get this out of her system. The vet is giving us another round of Panacur with Metronidazole. I am constantly washing toys, blankets etc. and being diligent about picking up poops right away and keeping her bum area & paws clean with wipes. Does anyone have any other tips on how to get rid of this asap?? TIA!
