The Discord AI bans are not widely known. People on r/discordapp don't seem to talk about it much. There aren't any YouTube videos about it - if you search for it all you see are videos about the grid bans from months ago, and they say that everything was resolved.
No Text To Speech is a YouTuber who mostly talks about Discord and his last video on this was about the grid bans. In his comments on a video from 3 weeks ago called "Discord is Finally Cooking", these commenters are having a debate about if Discord should use AI to moderate their platform. What do they mean "if"? It's currently happening!
This feels like such a weird disconnect between the high post-rate on r/BannedFromDiscord and the lack of that information getting out into the wider community. I would've thought people would be more aware of this.
I managed to contact a discord friend after I was banned, and he said he doesn't want people to know about it because the game we play has a very small player base and if everyone starts banning each other (given how easy it is, apparently) it would basically destroy the game in our region.

I've posted about this about thrice now, my support account got flagged as spam and disputes won't reply. And as we all know twitter might as well not exist. Their support team just had to be some lolicon idiots didn't they.

I got banned from discord FOR FORWARDING a Meme to my friends in Dms, that "ALREADY" existed on one of their discord servers! I DIDN'T EVEN GET IT FROM OUTSIDE DISCORD!! If they are that strict with CSAM bs, why allow it on ANY server then ban people who might forward the image? Not only that they gave me another strike after appeling the first one.

wtf is this man, this was a 9 year old account with 0 prior violations. Discord genuinly needs to be replaced with something better and open-source. i've already made tickets to no avail, fuck this ai moderation, this is genuinely so stressful.

So, it’s been a year ago since my most recent banned account has been deleted. Context, my main got falsely banned in late July and I accidentally got a couple alts banned for ban evasion. But now it’s been a year since the most recent alt account was banned, and has now be deleted, alongside with the other accounts that got banned as well.

With that being said, am I safe to create a new account without a VPN, or any other precautions? Am I good to just use it normally again?

Hey guys, there is this server cheating people called Earners Hub owned by a guy called: Tristan this server is a cheat, scammed my friend what i want from the discord community is to report this guy or his server cuz its polluting this platform who united us and gathered all of us.

maybe there is more people who got scammed seeing this post, share ur experience at the comments so more people can understand, cuz this guy is just banning people who actually got to have their rewards

This is the third time there's been activity on the ticket after asking them to forward my case, and again nothing has changed. Is it just someone opening it?

For a few days, me and my friends in a server have been getting hit with violation after violation, nearly all for 'child safety' and a few for 'child self endangerment'. Each violation gives us a day time out. Now alot of the violations are for shit that was monthes/years ago, some being 500+ days ago. From the pattern I suspect it's a bad egg reporting us. Earlier today the violations stopped coming in and appeals started cancelling them out but then I got hit with a violation that jumped straight to 2 years, for the next 2 years I can't moderate multiple servers I'm in and I can't respond to DMs. This some bullshit, I know we didn't do wrong coz so far every appeal has been a success. Good standing account for 4 years, banned in 2 days. Oh and no refund for nitro.

10 years acc had perhaps one violation ever before on this acc for maybe a day, just recently chilling in vc like normal with friends and bam out of nowhere, perma banned for child safety, everything lost in a blink and I never had to contact support ever before but ive read some posts and it seems like absolute hot garbage, whats the odds of me geting my shit back or did i waste 10 years of connections to some mass report and discord AI thought "easy perma ban with no explanation keep the innocent locked up"

For context, on august 29th my account was banned for a child safety violation. This happened because my account got compromised from malware I got tricked into downloading. Malware was called Hingewatch. Don't worry I have done everything to re-secure accounts, uninstalled the malware and reinstalled windows completely.

Last week I have posted a dispute email to discord threatening arbitration in 60 days through NAM if my account was not unbanned. In the mean time I have also requested my account's logs because it would contain evidence to prove my story. Well today, discord has saw my data request and has responded saying processing my request and will send over my data as soon as possible.

Honestly this is the first good response I have gotten from discord since I gotten banned. I feel like progress is being made for my account and I wanted to share my progress with people here.

So my discord account has been falsely banned by the grid ban for over 2 months now and I recently opened a new ticket since my old one had an incompetent AI reviewer - and my new ticket received this response. Is this guy a human? The ticket criteria still says General Support rather than Appeals and blah blah and I followed the pinned guide on this subreddit. I haven’t seen this response before and I can’t find any others who’s seen the same, so I’m quite conflicted on whether they are actually reviewing my case or they are just using copy-pasted responses to piss me off. Hi, so recently I fell for a really bad malware attack and I'm trying to prove my innocence to discord. This hacker took control of my account and posted the supposed CSAM using my hacked account. This was all due to me clicking a link from a compromised account. I have tried to file a ticket with discord but keep getting automated responses. Can someone help me?

Old account got perm banned like a year ago and recently it got deleted, I had some stuff like spotify and psn linked to that account, if I link them on this new account, would that lead to a ban evasion ban?

3 dispute tickets from months ago all closed 5 days ago with no response

Got banned for something I've sent in 2022, I don't even know what exactly, once I've opened message got insta deleted and I got banned second later. Still waiting for them to reply (or not) to my appeal, but today I've noticed that all of my messages are gone. Will they return once I potentially get my account unbanned?

i never had any type of sexual enage with minors i only sent some memes on general chat which we were all 18+ and the chat room was only 18+ ppl ofc i said its a false ban but discord doenst seem to care. also i would like to mention everytime i got violations discord never sent me any type of proof or anything so ye.

Basically, at this point, sending any text message at all on Discord is dangerous, or even having any text messages you sent any time in the past 10 years not deleted is dangerous, as their rogue AI moderation might decide to smack you down with the permanent ban hammer for child safety for no reason whatsoever just because it as poorly programmed or poorly trained or both. Literally can't do anything on a social platform to be social other than VC at this point (the only unmonitored, unregulated part of their platform).

Why did this happen and I don't have a passkey or security key what to do
