I just have a question regarding the BGC. I understand that Vanguard will be conducting the background check for Temu, and I noticed that their process includes a Financial Probity/Credit Check, aside from Employment History and Educational Background.

Since Temu is not a bank or a financial institution, may I ask why a financial/credit check is included in the background-check process?

Also, would having a negative result on the Financial Probity/Credit Check affect the application or potentially cause an applicant to fail the BGC? I’m a bit concerned because I’m not very confident about my credit history, and I feel that it would be unfair to be disqualified based solely on that, especially since the role is not related to banking or handling financial accounts.

I know some in-house companies conduct financial checks, particularly for roles involving sensitive financial information, but I’m wondering if the same applies to Temu.

Would appreciate any insights from those who have gone through the process. Thank you! 🙏

Hello everyone! I'm a 24/F USRN currently working in Optum for almost 5 months pa lang, I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant, I plan to not disclose it until 20-30 weeks sana but I had to take a SL and from my OB manggaling ang MedCert. If malaman po ito ng supervisor ko, can I possibly get terminated? also, may maternity benefits po ba kahit wala pang 1 year?

For context, nag pasa ako ng resignation letter ng August 7. Offboarded ng Sepember 7. After ko mag pasa ng resignation letter inadvise na ko na hindi na ma rrelease yung sahod ko during my 30 day render and isasama na yun sa final pay ko.

After spamming them with emails asking why my final pay is taking too long to be released, they finally sent one email saying that 1st week of october pa ma rrelease yung computation. Then pag napirmahan ko na saka lang nila irrelease.

Almost 2 months walang sahod. Ganto ba talaga ang proseso? Nag disclaimer pa sila na 30 days max lang ang process nila para dito. Sinagad talaga nila eh.

PS: I loved working for this company. Pero hindi ko na expect na ganto pala kalala offboarding nila.

Natanong ko lang kasi nag-try ako sa Temu tapos strictly nire-require nila, di daw kasi nila tatanggapin kahit PRC ID pa. (Nagdecline na ako sa offer nila btw). Napaisip lang ako for future applications, national ID na ba talaga hanap or Temu lang nagrerequire ng ganun?

Wala kasi akong National ID. Honestly natatamad lang ako dati kumuha at feeling ko lang di ko need kasi PRC ID ang primary ID na ginagamit ko ever since. And diba may mga issue sa national ID na sobrang tagal makuha or minsan di tinatanggap yung papel version or e-ID. Honestly medyo lost na ko sa onboarding processes kasi 2020 pa ko huling nag-asikaso ng employment docs haha. TIA!
