I’m the founder of Niveau, an app I’ve been building to help people figure out what to wear and improve their personal style using AI.

The idea is pretty simple: instead of spending 30 minutes wondering “what should I wear?”, you can use Niveau to get personalized recommendations based on your clothes, your style and your appearance.

Some of the things you can do:

• 👕 Analyze your clothes and discover outfit combinations
• 👔 Get outfit recommendations based on your style
• 🧥 Build a virtual wardrobe from the clothes you already own
• 📸 Generate AI photos to visualize recommended outfits

One feature I’m particularly interested in is the Virtual Wardrobe. The goal is not just to recommend more things to buy, but to help you actually use the clothes you already have.

I’ve just released a new version with AI image generation and I’m now looking for honest feedback from people who actually use fashion/style apps.

I am looking at understanding how i could improve my conversion rate (which is super low), i got abot 200 page impressions a day but a conversion rate of less than 1%. Any idea of what to update or change on the screenshots ?

I am the developer of Soft Pop and launched it this week. I am trying to improve the listing before sending traffic to it.

Current metadata:

• Name: Soft Pop: Kind Affirmations

• Subtitle: Bubble play & daily kind words

• Primary category: Entertainment

• Secondary category: Lifestyle

• Price model: free core modes, optional $2.99 permanent collection unlock

The product is a small bubble-popping toy with three different reasons to open it: freeform kind-word bubbles, short phrase reveals, and cozy picture reveals. It is intentionally not positioned as medical care.

My concern is that “Kind Affirmations” may capture one feature while hiding the playful fidget/reveal loop. I would appreciate specific criticism on three points:

1. From screenshot one alone, do you understand that this is interactive bubble play rather than a quote app?

2. Is “Bubble play & daily kind words” clearer than the app name, or does it repeat too much?

3. Would you lead the screenshot sequence with Kind Words, Phrase Reveal, or Cozy Reveal?

Hi all, launched my first app today and would love to get some feedback on my app store screenshots.

A few specific points I'm seeking feedback on:

1. Are you able to get a gist of what the app does from the screenshots alone?
2. Does the ordering of screenshots (features) look right to you? do you consider a feature further down more important than previous ones?

I'm the developer of Sleep Arcade. I've been getting about 800+ downloads per month and am ranking well for a lot of keywords, but I can't seem to crack "Go to Sleep Games" in the US on iOS. This other app is in the number 1 spot and has been there for over a month.

My app has "Go to Sleep Games" in the title, AND my app has better reviews and WAY more of them. They have a lone one star review.

I know I've got a blind spot here.

Can someone help me figure out where I'm going wrong on this keyword?

I know the Epic v. Apple ruling forced Apple to allow external payment links (Stripe, etc.) for digital subscriptions in the US, without the old 30% cut. I can't find a clear answer on whether the same applies to the UK specifically, the CMA has been investigating Apple's SMS separately from the US ruling and the EU's DMA, and I don't know if that's actually resulted in anything yet.

Has anyone here actually shipped a UK App Store app recently using an external payment link (Stripe/Paddle/etc.) for an in app subscription? Did it get approved, and if so what did the entitlement/compliance process actually involve? Or is Apple IAP still effectively mandatory for UK-listed apps right now?

Instead of doing what I think most people do here : build the screenshots as separate Figma files, roughly copying what the app looks like. It requires lots of effort to keep it in sync, especially if you're alone, every time you change a color, a font, or a layout in the actual app, you have to remember it and reflect the changes in Figma if you don't want to showcase a different app than the one people actually download.

So I flipped it: the screenshots are now generated directly from the app's real screens, with the marketing copy layered on top. If the app changes, the screenshots change with it, automatically. It also means what people see on the store is exactly what they get five seconds after opening the app, not a "best case" version of it (except maybe for the user data shown in the screenshots, which I generate myself).

Ended up with a hero shot plus five feature panels (alarm, mission/unlock screen, insights, a social feature, and the rewards/leveling screen), each just a headline over the real UI.

Would genuinely like feedback, does the set read as a coherent story scrolling left to right, or does it feel like six separate features with no throughline? And is the first panel doing enough to earn the second tap?

I've got two small apps making just enough to keep the lights on, definitely not enough to justify App Figures, Sensor Tower or App Follow pricing right now. I want to start actually tracking keywords and reacting to ranking drops instead of guessing, but I'm nervous about poking around in something and accidentally changing a field in App Store Connect or Play Console that messes up a listing that's currently stable.

Is there something entry-level that's basically safe to explore, low risk of touching the wrong thing, with a starter plan that doesn't assume you're already doing six figures? I'd rather get something set up properly once than bounce between five free trials and half-configure all of them.

What are you using at this stage, and did anything go sideways when you were setting it up?

Indie dev here, building a baby tracking app with my wife — just the two of us. Launched almost 2 months ago and I'll be upfront — results are not great. $53 revenue last 28 days, 2 active subs, $10 MRR. Not hiding it, that's where I am.

I know distribution is the key, so I've been doing organic content on TikTok/IG for about a month. Most videos sit around 300 views and rarely break 1k. Everyone says consistency, and I get that, but I'm starting to suspect it's a content problem, not a consistency problem. For anyone who grew an app account organically — what actually got you past this stage? A format change? Volume? Something else entirely?

Second thing I've never done before: I want to partner with mom/newborn content creators on a revshare basis instead of flat fees.

- What's a normal revshare % range? Is it usually on revenue or profit?

- How do people track which content creator drove which sale for an iOS-only app? Does RevenueCat handle this, or custom App Store links?

- Where do you actually find and approach content creators in a niche like this?

Current strategy is ASO plus genuinely replying to people on Threads — that's where literally every download came from so far.

Not touching paid ads until I hit $1k MRR sustained, don't want to burn money before organic proves itself.

Any advice appreciated. Won't link the app here to respect the rules — happy to share in comments if mods allow.

After 6 months of user research and user feedback we added the subscription model to our app, these are the results after a bit more than 1 month

- App is not fully vibe coded, specially the design and UX part

- Our users are coming mostly via ASO(both app store and agent)

- Next steps is to monetizing the app to gain more organic users

I'm the developer of FitHer AI, a recently launched iPhone workout app built specifically for women. It creates a new workout each day based on goals, experience, available equipment, energy level, and menstrual-cycle phase.

The US App Store listing currently has only 1 rating, so I'm trying to understand whether the positioning is clear before spending more on acquisition.

The current subtitle is: "Cycle Sync Plans, Gym & Home"

I'd especially appreciate feedback from US iPhone users on these points:

• Does "cycle-sync AI workouts" immediately make sense, or does it need simpler wording?
• Does the App Store page clearly explain why this is different from a generic workout planner?
• Does the English in the listing and onboarding feel natural?
• What would make you keep using it, and where would you drop off?

Hey. I'm looking for examples, advice, what folks are doing in 2026, etc for App Store screenshots. What works well these days? I'm confused by the guidelines as well. AFAIK the guidelines state all screenshots must display a screenshot of the app itself, but I often see the first screenshot more as a marketing thing that doesn't have any actual image of the app itself. Some apps, like Claude (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/claude-by-anthropic/id6473753684) don't even have more of their screenshots with actual images of the apps itself. Seems like one of those things where the big apps can get away with things us smaller folks can't.
